I wrote a review earlier regarding NMC Exteriors. They are just plain unresponsive. We were told we had a 10 year warranty, then now 7 year, I called for piece of facia that fell off and a roof vent that needs to be nailed down. Guy told me he would see what he can do as they are now Apple Roofing and not responsible. He also commented that their work is better now. Based on a little online research, NMC was my first call for having my homes siding redone. Project Manager came out and took measurements, and said he would have an estimate to me in a week. 2-weeks later, he called and said i would have it by end of week. In total, 6-8 weeks have now passed....crickets! Business must be really good to forget all about a $20-25k project. I suggest you look elsewhere. read more

I was excited about this company back in April when I first started working with them. I moved into the property where work was to begin at the end of May. My project began as replacing gutters. That turned into needing shingles replaced due to how the old gutters were installed. I then needed soffit/fascia work done due to rotted wood. And I waited and I waited. To be honest I had a small hiccup of raccoons making a home in the attic at the back of the house due to them removing the fascia board during the shingle replacement. I only asked for a two day hold while we did a little trapping. And I waited and I waited. Monday, this week, they came to install some windows we had ordered. I thought great, they're finally here and it should all be done this week. Two days in and things are going great. 2:00pm yesterday my sister tells me no one showed up. No phone call. Mind you no one was communicating with me much throughout the process except after I called them and then I always was told they are on someone else's job and they have delays. What about my delays? What about communicating with your customer. What about customer service? Wish me luck in getting it done before winter. read more

Got a house roof replaced by them a few years ago. At that time, they subcontracted out to some team that did "sloppy" work and errors, and whom I could not effectively communicate with. In general communication was sub par. Pretty sure the sales guy kicked my garage door at foot level to make a "hail dent" I think about that every time I look at that dent down at the bottom. He had said there was hail damage. I didn't see it until I saw that big one, insurance denied. Even the insurance company rep. assured me there was fabricated stuff on the original claim. Subcontractors did a sub par job per several inspectors I had check the work. Then NMC would show up to view my complaints on my roof without even telling me they had been on my property checking it out. (i.e. not even talking to me as if I didn't own the property) I complained because they would miss stuff I had intended on showing them, but couldn't because I didn't know they would show up without telling me they were there on my roof. Neighbors would tell me. Then i had to call them back, they kept sending back the sales guy to look at it, who was not a roofer, and seemingly short with me because I subsequently cancelled any further insurance work with them after that roof fiasco. Some of head guys did come out a few times at my insistence to repair what inspectors had photographed for me to show them as errors. Reason they had to come back so much was they didn't communicate to me when they would come or knock on my door. I had clipped drip edge, a jimmy rigged wrong size pipe boot, a dented vent, exposed popped nails, metal installed upside down so the markings shown when I looked out my window I could see lines from the back side of it. the top metal drip edges cut and bent sloppy so it was sharp and cut through some shingles on corner. And a drip edge cut to accommodate an old gutter hanger. I was concerned about the ice dams making the need for drip edge to be proper, they said "you wont get them here on this area" I did of course, as I tried to tell him. After all, I do own the home and know a few things about it to say the least. So they seemed to treat a single woman homeowner with quite a bit of disregard on any of my complaints, and also, since they kept sending the sales guy back to deal with my complaints (which were complaints of what the other roof inspectors told me they found of the job) not only did they try to blame the gutter guy, and the guy who pulled back a layer to take a photo for me for them, (they then said, well now that he pulled that back we won't cover it) told me to call Owens Corning rep, who didn't know why I was given his number to call, and sales guy was tired of hearing from me after the job and at one point walked away from me while I was telling him my viewpoint vs his, and said, "don't call us unless you have a leak". Well, I got a leak, and within a few years a pipe cover color washed off, I called recently to ask a couple of questions on what they can do, they called the sales guy AGAIN, and he let me know "they are not interested in my project" of course. So guess I won't be using them... even if I wanted to. Office staff/owners were in general un-apologetic, but did allow me a small refund of a warranty option drop, which the shingles rep gave me. I had asked for in a BBB complaint that they barely answered back on without me telling them it was waiting for a reply. So overall, that was my experience, and my opinion. I waited until my warranty was for sure un-useable before sharing my experience. And they (sales rep) let me know, they don't want to deal with someone who is able to hire inspectors, and also to view the roof and metal work up close after their sub contractors are done. (i.e. see the shoddy work). It looks ok from afar, didn't look so pretty up close unfortunately in my case. read more

We had hail damage and NMC replaced all of our gutters, fascia, and roof. They worked well with the insurance adjuster and went to bat for us to get us a larger claim for our damaged items. They communicated every step of the way. The entire project went very quickly. They placed a dumpster, completely finished the whole job, and removed the dumpster in just three days. The crew was polite and respectful, and they were working very hard despite the hot hot weather. Our house looks great and the process was 100% easy. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again. read more

I can't say enough great things about this company. Our house received hail damage in the June 2017 storm, which is how we heard about them and they replaced our roof in the spring of 2018. They were great then, but today they really earned my loyalty. We are in the process of selling our house and the inspector found a few items that needed to be addressed. I called Jon this morning at 8:30 a.m. and he was at my house by 9:30 a.m. He assessed the items on my list and said he was going to run to Home Depot and he'd be back. By 10:30 a.m., everything on my list (including one he didn't know if he could fix) were completely taken care of and for a very reasonable fee. There was no rescheduling or waiting. Jon made this entire process very painless. What should have taken days, he had the time and was able to do within a few hours...and provide me with the paperwork I needed to satisfy the inspector.
