You walk in and your confronted with a fabulous setup, great merchandising, and friendly and really helpful salespeople! I'm never disappointed when I go there, except I wish they had longer hours, but that's Pittsburgh for you. No complaints, but plenty of praise for the owners. The lines they carry are mostly mainstream, but they definitely have an eye for what's trendy. What a darling and cool designed boutique clothing store! The 2014 Cookie Tour brochure described the store as "a trendy feminine boutique offering clothing, gifts and refurbished furniture." Although I did not really pick up on the refurbished furniture aspect of the store, it might be because I was captured by the cool clothing and even cooler design and layout of the space. The owner clearly put a lot of thought and time into the design of this store and its space. Funky, edgy, feminine, reasonably priced. I walked out with a great modern cut, black leather like vest with a furry black inside. It is a unique item I am glad to add to my wardrobe. read more

Let's be honest, I'm clearly not always a fan of businesses opening up in what I consider gentrification. With that said, I've loved this place since they've opened. The decor/set up is inviting, cozy and a bit on the shabby chic side which I adore. They have pieces that I feel like you can't really find anywhere else in the city. It seems the store is very meticulous in what they choose to carry. Some things are pricey because we're talking designer but others are reasonable and what you'd expect to pay at a big box store but instead you're supporting a small, local business. I've never bought anything here for myself but have made several purchases for my daughter and friends for birthdays, holidays, etc. Even if you just pop in for a look-see, trust me you won't walk out empty handed. read more

The second I stepped in I automatically gasped at how beautiful the interior was! It was STUNNING. I went in here to just browse, and found a top I absolutely loved but sadly it did not fit my body as I have a really large chest. I absolutely adore this little boutique! I am very into the whole "shopping local" concept, and every time I visit this store I am tempted to purchase almost every item I see. Maybe it's the gorgeously decorated walls, or the sun streaming through the large windows, I'm not entirely sure. But there's something about this place that just makes me so incredibly happy. I want to live in this boutique! I love the combination of antique and contemporary pieces in this space. When you walk in, there's a gorgeous wall to your right that's a mixture of brick and plaster. Today I learned that the owners actually knocked down four layers of wall to reach the brick. While in the process of doing that, they had the vision to leave some of the white plaster on top of the brick to make a truly interesting texture on the wall. It's so stunning! I can't say enough positive things about this space. The color scheme is absolutely on point with all the whites, teals, and baby pinks. And the furniture is modern yet refined. Fantastically done. The clothes here are wonderful. I pretty much want to buy every single thing in the store. Also, if you're looking for a gift, this is a great place to go. They have candles, stationary, and jewelry galore! Also, they have sales pretty often...and who doesn't love a good sale?! Overall, this is one of my favorite boutiques in Lawrenceville. O.M.G. I LOVE No. 14! I've followed them on Snapchat for a little while now but never had a good reason to buy any of their fun clothes. I have an event coming up and figured it was the perfect opportunity to support this local, women-owned business and get a fabulous dress in the process! To my dismay, the dress I loved on Snapchat was out of stock by the time I made it to the store but I was able to find another just-as-fantastic dress to ease the sadness. You definitely have to be quick on the draw if you see something you like on their social channels -- It's obvious that they pay careful attention to detail when curating their sales floor and there are only a small handful of each piece available. It is a boutique, after all! The store is decorated beautifully and the girl working was friendly and helpful even though I probably annoyed her when I asked her more than once if she was suuuuuure that pink dress I wanted was spoken for, haha! I felt at home browsing the racks and admiring the little touches they've accented with. I didn't feel pressured to buy or like I was being hovered over like other boutique shoppes I've patronized. If you're looking for feminine, floral and fitted items, this place is definitely for you. The prices range from average to high. I'm always a fan of raiding the sale section, and found a white skirt for $36! I would have bought this awesome BB Dakota jacket if it had been my size, curses! I've been dying to go to this store for a while after hearing about it and seeing them on Instagram. The decor and aesthetic are amazing with feminine touches. It reminded me of cute boutiques I used to go to when I lived in Seoul. They have cute clothes and I didn't think the prices were bad, but there isn't a huge selection which is understandable for the size. What I was disappointed in was the customer service or lack there of. We were never greeted or spoken to at all. For a small store it's impossible that they didn't see us, they just ignored us. What a great addition to the neighborhood!!! So happy that this great little boutique joined a few of the others that I have come to love and frequent. We first stumbled upon them with our regular trips to La Gourmandine, and I was eagerly awaiting their opening. Once the boutique finally opened, it was easy for me to get hooked on shopping here. The owners, a mother/daughter team, are absolutely wonderful. So friendly and definitely have made the effort to create an optimal shopping experience. I We have been in numerous times to date, and there are always pieces that I have to have. Price points are more than reasonable too in my opinion. They have had some very unique pieces in too - and some great necklaces (and other little accessories). AMAZING!!! After finding this place through Instagram, I had very high expectations when I first visited...and they were met!! It is much bigger inside than I expected and is filled with awesome fashion finds and even some cute things for my apartment. The shop owner was so friendly and took time out to talk with me about how I liked the shop and how I heard about it. I can't wait to keep going back to see the new items. We need more businesses like this in Pittsburgh. It was absolutely amazing! The prices were not too bad either. The first time I visited, I had just been to Anthropologie. However the customer service was very poor. I even tried making friendly conversation (with whom I later found out was the owner) and I was simply brushed off and I immediately felt unwelcome. I think this boutique has a great curated little collection that's perfect for the girl who wants to be work appropriate while still looking feminine. However, though my friend and I had plenty of money to spend, the sales associates only paid attention to a presumably wealthy male shopping with his younger girlfriend. This boutique is absolutely ADORABLE! The rustic look with all of the light colors really draws you in. I've followed their Instagram account for awhile now and it seems like they always get new stuff in so you could go there week to week and see completely different stuff. Even the items they use to accent the place are for sale and get updated frequently which sometimes makes it feel like a whole new store. The clothes are super cute but they are a little pricey. Also make sure you are 100% sure you want any items you purchase because they only give store credit for returns. After months of complimenting friends on their outfits and asking where they got them, all to reply "No.14!", I finally ventured to LVille to see what all of the fuss was about. Upon entry, the store is adorable, bright, full of character and while the pieces aren't exactly my taste (a little too girly, frilly, trendy- not structured, classic enough for me) everything was displayed beautifully. The 1 star rating came in as a direct result of the awful customer service. The owner nor any of her employees so much as said hello - and not just to me - but to anyone that walked in, with the exception of maybe one person, who was clearly a regular. They simply stood behind the counter and talked to each other. No "how can I help you, what are you looking for, we have this new piece, I think you'd look great in it." To call myself a professional shopper is an understatement - I can make excuse to buy just about anything. But I couldn't bring myself to want to purchase one item at No.14, because I thrive off of customer service. Not saying that I crave special attention, but acknowledgement would be a good start. To be fair, I gave the store a second chance - deja vu - same snobby attitudes. I actually saw an outfit that I liked, it was new, and hadn't been put out yet, but was behind the register (with the employee, of course). I asked her if I could try it on/how much it was. She said I'd have to come back another day once it was officially put out. How about, let me call my manager, and see if she'd like to make a sale to a new customer?
