So I went to Lowe's and bought the fans that night. Lowe's wanted $179 for each fan to install. Kip gave me a quote for 560$ which included putting fan boxes in the ceiling and buying those parts. He showed up on time, communicated promptly and effectively and completed the job quickly. I wasn't home for the install; my wife was. What I was most impressed by was Kip's honesty. He told me that when he removed the lights, the builder had already installed fan boxes. I would have never known otherwise if he hadn't been forthcoming with this information. He adjusted the invoice and removed 300$ from the total cost since the fan boxes didn't need to be installed. My total out the door was $260 for four ceiling fans to be installed. That would have cost me $716 if I had elected to have Lowe's do the install. I'm so glad I went to Yelp and found this company. They already had great reviews and that's why I gave them a call. After dealing with Kip it is clearly evident why he has five star reviews. I will go to Kip in the future for any handyman needs. I highly recommend him and his services to others.

At least that way you might stay warmer than any structure Brent would build for you. He built half of a structure for me and then walked off the job with an extra $150,000 in his pocket. Brent just disappeared from the job and called me later to say he messed up on the budget and overspent by $40,000 so he left to figure it out but never came back! I had to spend 2 years in court to finally get a resolution. Brent will take you for every cent and will not deliver on any building. He was drinking on the job daily as well as his guys. He co-mingled funds from several projects and could not deliver receipts to show where the money was going. I have the facts and proof to show this is the case with him, as well as the law suit ending in my favor. The structure that he did complete was not to code and not to plan!!! I spend more money on a new contractor to fix all the code violations than Brent's initial bid for the Barndominuim. Do yourself a huge favor and stay away from Cascade Custom Construction and Brent DeArmond!!!!!! This is how Brent treats a disabled veteran when building his retirement home.

Horrid communication by the contractor within his org and with me. People showed up that didn't know or have the skills for the job. The contractor didn't know of any of the verbal agreements I had with his sales people. (He substituted an inferior siding for what I wanted and had agreed to. Didn't even ask me or talk about additional cost - he just decided!) They completed the work this spring and I made the final payment within a week of final inspection. I thought I was done with these folks and very happy to part ways. Well I received a notice from Builders First Source (BFS), Intent to File Lien, on my property because they didn't get paid for materials they delivered. I called the owner, Brent, and thought I had an agreement that he would pay BFS within a week. That was two weeks ago. The painter threatened to sue and I found out that CCC hadn't paid the concrete sub either. I'm hiring a lawyer to get advice on how to proceed. There are more transgressions on the part of CCC then room to list here. Work with these folks at your own risk!

I was told they'd show up about 9:00 am /10:00 ish am. I waited until 12:30 pm. NO COURTESY CALL! Having given up on Lionheart's visit, I left to visit a neighborhood friend. There next door to my friends house was Lionheart Roofing inspecting another roof, having just committed to inspecting my friend's roof next. It was obvious to me that I was dropped. I left a note and my number on Lionheart's truck regarding the missed appointment. I then left with my friend to go buy a part for a project he was working on. We were gone about an hour, maybe a bit more when my phone rang as I was standing in my friend's garage. I saw that it was Robert from Lionheart calling me from his truck. He told me he had not forgotten about my appointment rather he blamed the whole thing on a network/electronics issue. He was going to put off my friends inspection to inspect my roof around the corner but I told him to go ahead and take care of my neighbor because he was already there. I rescheduled an appointment with him for the following morning at 8:00 am. The next morning Lionheart didn't show up until 40 minutes later claiming some other incident caused him to be late. AGAIN...NO COURTESY CALL! When he finally showed, he blamed the prior day's missed appointment on his office personnel for having not texted him the appointment info. After looking at my roof he told me that his brother, James, would send me an estimate within a few days. A week went by and...you guessed it....NO ESTIMATE...NO CALL! Today James from Lionheart called to inquire about my intention to replace my roof. I had already made that clear to his brother. I told James I was waiting for his estimate/proposal so I could move forward with having my roof replaced. It's apparent that the left hand doesn't have a clue what the right hand is doing in that company. I was at a loss for who to call. I had rain running down the fascia behind the gutter. I called a…read moreroofing company and they never called back so I forgot about it until rain returned. It occurred to me to try a gutter company. I read several good reviews about Gutter Done and gave them a call. They responded right away. Andrew came out and he knew exactly how to modify the gutter set-up so water run-off could be directed right into the gutter and wouldn't get to the fascia. It was simple and very inexpensive. Since he was there and bright as could be I told him the house had ice-dam issues during snowmageddon before we bought the house. I mean, if it happened once... I asked him if he had any ideas to deal with water settling between roof peaks on the north side where the sun never touched it - all a formula for future ice-dams I feared. He points up at the higher roof and said - add a gutter. He suggested the lack of one was letting the precip run right down to where the ice-dam had formed. Made sense that a gutter above would hold it away from wall where the lower roof met it. Such peace of mind for such a low price - everything well under $500. I can't say enough about the quality of work and how fair the pricing was. I HIGHLY recommend Gutter Done.
