Unlike that soulless TV chef-trap, Håndverksbakeriet (Handworks Bakery) bakes up craft breads and pastries and serves them up with wicked coffee and drinks. The staff there is also a big seller. Every time that I've been there they're just amazingly pleasant, nice people. They get to practice their English, as I, sadly, do not speak Norwegian, which I must fix one of these days. I get great food, great service, and a nice place to sit and get out of the hubbub of the summer holiday crowds strolling by the harbor. Better than the chain places around it, by far.
