Joe Deken should write a book for contractors of all trades. He shows up "on time", imagine that for easy starters but most don't get it. Joe communicates throughout the job for options on locations and how new connections will be mounted. He cleans up after himself (extremely tidy with vacuum and removing all debris and dust) and treats your house like his own. He even took his shoes off and changed into shoes clean shoes when working inside the house. He kept his dirty shoes outside to work on the main panel. He is unbelievable, seriously. We have used him many times in the past including the electrical for our new kitchen a couple months ago. He is fantastic. His prices are fair and most of all he is professional. Justin Byler has been out several times to add onto both systems for things like a 30amp plug for my RV, or a new boat lift and powered cover. We had problems with lightning tripping the boat dock breaker and justin came out several times developing a solution... It's working well now. In addition several devices I use on the dock don't seem to be the safest around water. Justin has installed switches that completely disconnect all lines to these so that when we swim, we can be certain that all is safe. He installed a GFI box at the dock with a ground, and in addition added a ground specifically attached to the dock. I am confident that our dock is one of the safest on the lake. Justin and his crew are super to work with. They were great with the home construction, placing switches and extra wiring for us as we changed our minds over the construction cycle. Scott arrived early, June 16 for his appointment.  I needed 2 toilets changed out. New ones sitting…read moreon the carport.  He moved one over to one side (small bathroom) so I could paint the wall behind it.  He then took the other old one (large bathroom) outside and brought a new one in. By himself. I finished painting and checked on his progress. He was tightening the bolts on that one (large bathroom), said he'd hurt his back. I told him I could help lift them,  to let me know. He commented that he has back problems. He said the flange under the toilet he'd just set was really high. ‍ He started on the next one in the small bath. It had been leaking between the toilet and the tank. He said he thought he could fix it without changing it out. I said ok. The new seal didn't work, it continued to leak. He said his back was killing him, he needed to leave and come back.  As he left, he said he'd let me know asap when he'd be back.  He charged me for the one toilet (large bath).  Within 3 days it was rocking.  I bought shims and tried to keep it straight and stable until he came back.   I sent him 3 nice texts asking if he was better and to let me know when he was coming back. He said the week after the 4th of July. He never called or texted. I left 2 voicemails.  He finally answered that he was out of town and would be back the following week. He would call to set up an appointment. That visit would have been the 3rd week in July. The first week in August, 6 weeks after his visit and tired of rebalancing a rocking toilet, I found someone to fix both of them. I had to pay another plumber to fix the rocking toilet and to swap out the 2nd one. The toilet rocked due to the flange. He had left it balanced precariously on the flange and an assortment of nylon shims. That issue was addressed,  the toilet set properly, squared up with the cabinet and tub, not rotated to the left as Scott had left it. The other toilet (small bathroom) was still leaking between tank and toilet. That toilet was changed out and sits squarely. I had an unstable toilet that rocked and moved and another I couldn't use at all for 6 weeks. I would expect a licensed plumber with 30 years experience to properly fix the toilet. The total lack of communication was also a disappointment.
