    I'm obsessed with the quality of the service and food at Nobu! The servers were very knowledgeable about the menu and provided great advice. Yellowtail jalapeño was delicious. Crispy rice with spicy tuna was okay. The spicy tuna was great, but the rice was a little too crunchy. Tasted like a burnt tater tot. The highlight of the night was the miso black cod. Omg! I could eat that every day. Desserts and drinks were amazing, too. It's a little pricey, but great place to go for special occasions!

    This was such a fun experience! We finally got around to trying the Nobu brunch, and I think our group consensus was that it was definitely worth the visit to try it, even though it is not an experience we would revisit (purely given the price). The sushi was definitely the standout--so many fresh, flavorful nigiris and pieces! I also loved the rock shrimp and the miso soup station. Beautiful interior and great service.

    I would not sleep on the $80 all-you-can-eat sunday brunch. Tons of sashimi so you can be sure to get your money's worth. Excellent service. We got the freddo carajillo cocktails and it was one of my favorite cocktails ever. A little dark and moody in there so maybe more of a winter spot. The avocado is so yummy too.

    We came to Nobu Dallas with a big group and had a fantastic experience. The fish was incredibly fresh across the board, and two people in our party did the omakase, which let them try a wide variety of unique and beautifully presented dishes. All the rolls we ordered were solid, but the uni nigiri was the favorite at our table. That said, while the fish was all fresh, I was hoping for a little more pizzazz on the nigiri to make it really pop. Personally, my top dish was their signature yellowtail sashimi with jalapeño. The atmosphere was dark and moody, giving the place a cool, upscale vibe. Overall, a great night with great food.

    Came for the weekend brunch which offered a wide array of sushi, nigiri, and other Japanese cuisine. Every piece of food I put in my mouth was delicious. The sushi practically melted in my mouth. Even the dessert options were pretty good even though I'm not usually a fan of Asian desserts. It's absolutely worth it to me considering the quality of what you're getting though some might find it's not enough food.

    Since we moved to Dallas 14 years ago we are going to NOBU few times a year . Yesterday, we again went to Nobu Dallas to celebrate my daughter's 24th birthday, expecting a memorable fine dining experience. Unfortunately, the evening was deeply disappointing. While the ambiance was beautiful, the food quality did not match the reputation or price point of Nobu. We ordered Omakase dinner paying $215 each person. We were very disappointed! The 8 course dinner was full of Mackerel fish which is cheap smelly ! Omakase is chef's choice . Our chef chose cheap fish instead of yellow tail , shrimp white fish or even good portion of salmon ! Only one tuna ! The smelly Mackerel cause us to throw up at night ! Service was good as we expect from Nobu . I didn't like my $18 piece beef taco. For a special family celebration, we expected far better quality food! What was most disappointing was that such an important occasion for our daughter ended with frustration instead of joy. Fine dining is not only about expensive dishes -- it is about consistency, attention to detail, and making guests feel valued. Sadly, that did not happen here. I truly hope Nobu Dallas takes guest feedback seriously and improves the experience for future customers.

    Top notch service, amazing food is the standard here. I've never had a bad experience here, dining at Nobu. The wagyu beef on hot stone was amazing as always. The mock tails was super delicious. I had something called Verde something a little spicy but just so refreshing! I really enjoyed the mushroom shiitake salad. I've never had this before and it was so so good must try! The crispy rice plus tuna was a surprise to me because it came out the constructive, but I really like the concept. You can't go wrong here!

    Tried the AYCE Nobu Brunch for $75. I think it is worth it to try everything all at once for this price for one time. Sushi was good, the drinks were excellent. Had the lychee mimosa and breakfast in kyoto.

    I've been to the Nobu in Dallas a few different times, and I also make it a point to visit Nobu in any city I travel to -- this location definitely lives up to the brand. The staff is always welcoming and attentive, and the food is consistently excellent. The Wagyu Dumplings and Yellowtail Sashimi are must-orders for me, and the Lychee Martini is amazing. I also love trying a different dessert each visit -- it's hard to pick a favorite, but the Buttermilk Donuts and Miso Cappuccino are both standout options. Located in the Crescent Hotel, this spot is a favorite of mine -- I love coming here because the ambiance is absolutely breathtaking. The surrounding area is stunning, and overall, every visit has been a luxurious, five-star experience. I'll absolutely continue coming back.

    This place is hands-down one of the best places I've had sushi happy hour. Everything from the food to the seat to the service was over the moon! Decided to make a reservation for a small group right when they opened at 5 PM on a weekday. It was pretty empty, so the service was even elevated more so than I thought. We were seated promptly a few minutes after 5 PM. And they also had a place to wait since we were a little early. They even gave us some menus as we were waiting to be seated. We ordered a bunch of things off of the happy hour menu to try as much as we could. My favorite things were the crispy rice with spicy salmon. The rice was hot and crispy of course, and the salmon was fresh and flavored well. We ordered a bunch of the happy hour rolls, and they came out on a large circular plate with bamboo leaves and they were sorted very beautifully. I love the salmon avocado roll as well as the tuna roll. Other things that I really liked for the yellowtail sashimi. The happy hour drinks were honestly one of the best things too . Lychee martini was good, as was the margarita. Also ordered a French 75, which was made perfectly. The service was also fantastic. Waiters came about every 10 minutes to make sure we had enough water refills and they were very mindful when our drinks were low and asked us if we wanted another one. We also had a food allergy at the table and they made sure that everything was safe. For parking, we Uber, but I think there is a parking garage below. Not sure if they validate parking so I would call before to clarify.

    Nobu is a straight five-star experience. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels upscale, calm, and perfectly curated, and the service matches that same level of professionalism. Every dish we tried was extremely fresh and beautifully presented, and you can taste the quality in every bite. The sushi and rolls were flawless, the flavors were balanced, and everything came out timed perfectly. Even the small details, like the table setup and overall vibe, make it feel like a special night out. Nobu completely lives up to the hype, and it's the kind of place you leave already wanting to come back.

    This was my first visit to Nobu Dallas, and I found it comparable to many of the other locations on the east coast and Las Vegas. Living in the Bay Area, I bi-annually visit the Palo Alto location, but the decor and selection there aren't as remarkable or memorable as here. The food was excellent, as expected, and the service was top-notch. While we enjoyed our visit, the scale and tall ceilings made it feel less cozy than some fine dining establishments. It's a great place for a large party with family or colleagues. This Nobu is located inside a stunning hotel and shopping plaza, with the added perk of free validated garage parking.

Every item that came out was outstanding, including a corn appetizer the owner sent over for us to try. The Mason roll was presented beautifully and had a hint of Thai basil,I'm craving it again. The highlight had to be the 72 hr miso marinated Chilean Sea Bass. Not only was it among the best I've ever had, it came on a bed of perhaps the best mushroom risotto in Dallas. Italian restaurants take notice, this is how it should be done. Not too firm, not too soft, perfection on a plate, and the Umami flavor filled the mouth. I would eat that every day, every meal. If you have not visited Musume, run, do not walk, and enjoy!

Japan was extraordinary. The food was extraordinary. The trains were extraordinary. The trains specifically deserve their own paragraph because I have never in my life encountered a public transportation system that operates with the precision and quiet dignity of the Japanese rail network. Trains that arrive at the exact second they are supposed to arrive. Trains that leave at the exact second they are supposed to leave. A whole society of people moving through stations the size of small cities with calm purpose and zero visible distress, consulting their phones, reading books, buying things from vending machines that should not logically exist inside a train station but do because Japan has decided that convenience is a human right and I agree completely. I tell you all of this to explain what happened at the train station when we tried to find pizza. Now I know what you are thinking. You went to Japan and you tried to find pizza. And yes. Yes we did. We had been eating spectacular Japanese food for several days running, food that made us question every culinary decision we had made in our entire lives up to that point, and then something happened in the group dynamic that can only be explained as a collective temporary insanity and somebody said what about pizza and instead of saying no we are in Japan and there is yakitori available within forty feet of us at all times, everybody said yeah okay pizza sounds good actually. The station we were in had approximately forty seven exits. I counted. Not all of them. I counted forty seven before I gave up counting and simply accepted that exits were infinite and directional signage was a suggestion. We had been told the pizza place was near exit B14. There was no exit B14. There was a B4 and a B41 and something that might have been B14 but was labeled in a way that required a level of kanji literacy I had not developed in the forty eight hours since landing. We walked for twenty two minutes. We passed the same Family Mart three times which I know because the same employee was stocking the same shelf each time and by the third pass he looked at us with an expression of gentle recognition and what I can only describe as compassionate pity. We never found the pizza place. We found a ramen shop instead and ate the best bowl of ramen of our collective lives and agreed to never speak of the pizza incident again except that I am speaking of it right now because it is directly relevant to the fact that when I came back to Dallas and needed Japanese food that did not require navigating a forty seven exit train station, I went to Tei Tei Robata Bar on Henderson Avenue and everything was immediately right with the world. Tei Tei has been on Henderson Avenue since the late nineties. Founder Teiichi Sakurai, who is also the man behind Tei An which if you have not been to Tei An please go immediately after reading this review and before doing anything else in your life, has been a James Beard semifinalist six times which is the kind of number that should be printed somewhere more prominently than it currently is, like on a highway billboard or possibly the side of a building. You walk in through a Japanese garden to get to the entrance. A Japanese garden. In Dallas. On Henderson Avenue. Between a taco place and a bar with a patio. I walked through it after the forty seven exit train station and my blood pressure dropped twelve points immediately and I have no medical evidence for this but I am confident it is true. Robata is the traditional Northern Japanese grill style. Wood charcoal. Low heat. Slow intention. Things arrive on skewers that have been coaxed rather than forced into deliciousness. The miso sea bass is the kind of dish that people describe by going quiet for a moment first. The cornflake shrimp is a thing that should not work as a concept and works completely as a reality. The daily special comes out in three parts, raw, robata, and more, and each part is a small argument for why you should be paying better attention to what you eat every day of your life. The sashimi sits in a case on ice near the kitchen and you can watch the chefs working with a calm precision that is genuinely meditative to observe, like a train system that runs on the exact second it is supposed to run, quiet and intentional and doing exactly what it is supposed to do without any drama about it. I sat at the sushi bar and ate things I will not fully describe because some experiences should be discovered and not spoiled. I thought about the ramen we found instead of the pizza we were looking for and decided that getting lost is sometimes the whole point.

You can tell they brew it and it doesn't come from a syrup. When I sat down, I was instantly greeted, and there were like four different people serving my table, I think that they all work as a team to make sure everything is covered. The service was just amazing. Restaurant is beautiful, the booths were , small and intimate and you feeling that you in place with privacy and yet part of the group ....kind of interesting how they've done that. But the food! The food was outstanding, first they gave me a complementary appetizer of Jasmine sticky rice with this eggplant chutney, that was very tasty, a teeny bit spicy, but really good depth with flavor. Then my beef Samosas arrived. There were four, wrapped in like a triangle rapper, smaller than the Indian version of the same, and the flavor was very tasty, and corn and small chopped potatoes, yum! The two chutneys that came with it one was a cool cucumber, and the other was this sweet and spicy plum sauce. They made samosas!!! They could be soft and cool, or they could be delicious and spicy, depending on chutney you had them with and you had a third option.... There was a bed of pickled radish and carrot that really sit off the samosas as well and we're just delicious on their own. I devoured the entire thing. Then get the entrée. I had drunken noodles and I added the shredded pork... It was devastatingly tasty!!! the noodles were obviously done it a wok that's been seasoned to perfection. The wide noodles picked up all that deliciousness from the wok and then combined with the pork... heaven ! They had large pieces of bell pepper and tomatoes. very fresh onions... Just deliciousness. There was also some meat wrapped in fried rice paper, that was my personal favorite. We were there in time for brunch and that was the highlight for me. Coconut chicken on top of a pandan waffle with coconut syrup. YUM!!!! French toast with flambé bananas and syrup, also YUM!!! There are quite a few options in that area, this is definitely a top choice
