Avoid this tow company at all costs! I had a break down on my vehicle that was under warranty. Contacted my insurance for roadside assistance who then contacted NoDak Towing out of Minot, ND. I get a call from a Markus, who I now know is the owner of the company, he says a tow truck is in route and the vehicle will be picked up within two hours. We decide the best course of action is that I would leave the truck on the side of the road and they would tow the vehicle to the dealership. Hours go by, numerous phone calls between me and NoDak towing. Finally he says the vehicle was dropped off at the dealership. Contact the dealership and they cant get the vehicle in for service for a week. Not a big deal, my truck is already there. Expect it isn't... A week later I discover that Markus lied and the vehicle was never towed in the first place. The Sheriff's department was about to impound the vehicle as it had been there for a week, but fortunately knew me personally and contacted me. I call NoDak Towing and again talk to Markus. He said it was a mistake, but he will get on it right away. A few hours go by, I call again in which he says he is headed there right now to pick it up. At this point I drive a significant ways out of my way to check on the truck. STILL THERE. This company is a joke, complete lack of professionalism, doesn't communicate, and flat out lies to their customer. I am absolutely baffled that Markus thinks this is acceptable. Now the truck is being towed by a different company, it can only go up from here. read more

the tow truck driver came out immediately after calling on Sunday-absolutely great but was rude to my husband. whatever, it's the drivers problem if he doesn't want to be working on a Sunday, got nothing to do with us BUT THEN he took pictures of our vehicles so that he could post them on Facebook to make fun of our accident. We had two children in the car and it could've ended way worse- thank god it didn't but we DID NOT call a tow truck to be made fun in one of most vulnerable moments. read more

Call these guys if you want your mistake/car accident posted on Facebook by their employees to make fun of you. I slid into the ditch on an icy day and called to get help getting pulled out. Tow truck driver was meh and kept trying to sell me a car (whatever I can deal with that) all is fine and dandy until I go on Facebook the next morning and see an employee of Nodak towing posted a picture of my car accident on a Facebook page and proceeded to make fun of me. Very unprofessional and the owner didn't really seem to care. read more

Lied to my wife telling her if she didn't let him tow my truck the county was going to impound it. Offered to tow it for $300, of which $150 was paid. Almost a year later after having heard nothing from him and forgetting about the other $150 he illegally towed and impounded a different truck to hold ransom until we paid a fabricated bill of almost $1000. Law enforcement was involved and he was ordered to give the truck back and is now facing criminal charges for the illegal tow. read more

At around 10:00 am on February 24th I had talked to the owner (who goes by the name of Gary Lawarence) over the phone about getting my car and he gave me attitude and yelled at me and told me that he would turn around and go home if I called him one more time because he wasn't at the company at the time and he thinks just because he gave me a good deal on the price of me getting my car out of the impound and giving me a ride to the impound lot gives him an excuse to mistreat his customers. Then after I got my car out, I then confronted him about his nasty attitude, and he is going to tell me some story about working all the time, his employees calling in sick and about issues with his dumb family to justify him having an attitude with me over the phone, but he wasn't so quick to run off at the mouth when we were faced to face. Then when I called that company later on that day, I had found out that same guy (who goes by the name of Gary Lawarence) had lied and said I threaten him, which was a lie, just because I said I was going to get him fired for mistreating his customers. The day before when my car got towed and I confronted his employee about towing my car as it was taking place, he also had a bad attitude with me as well. These people who work at that business got an attitude problem. read more
