Cute store but the person working was super rude. Would have bought several things from there, but got the feeling that she didn't want us in there at all. We were never greeted and it's a tiny store, so it was really odd. I've worked in retail for years and managed a high end furniture boutique and would NEVER treat my customers like we were treated. I happened to find this little cutesy gem of a shop today while looking for SRO (which I never found). It's tiny & right next door to 82 Queen, the restaurant. The lady behind the counter was helpful, unobtrusive & funny. They have something for everyone and lots of eclectic stuff. Brilliant for unusual gifts for the man woman & pet and all the merchandise has a southern or Charleston flair. The lovely thing is, everything is unique to the store. They buy from southern artists, which is great. The next time you are on East Bay or Meeting, take a stroll down here. It's definitely worth it. read more

I love this store! the owner is very kind and always welcomes me when i come in solo or with friends. always helpful when i am looking for a gift to give or something for myself. i find it interesting that some people gave the shop lower stars because the person behind the desk was on the phone or didn't say hello -- as a small business owner myself, if you are on the phone you may actually be on the phone with the city, a vendor, or a client. i have been to plenty of stores where i am not acknowledged and its some thing that people need to get over. the store has great merchandise from local vendors and women businesses. always friendly and helpful and a must visit for fun, quirky things! also the inside was just redone and it looks amazing. enjoy!! read more

Cute store but the lady behind the desk was incredibly rude. I'm assuming she was the owner. It was the first store we entered coming out of the parking garage which dampened the mood for a short period. Definitely not the southern hospitality you receive at other Charleston shops. read more

Sometimes the best things come into tiny packages. While we were waiting for our reservation at a restaurant nearby, we moseyed down the road. Because we really had no where to be, I popped right into this inviting little store. The store was chock-full of lovely locally-made goodies but not cramped so that you weren't able to enjoy the space. The shopkeep was uber knowledgeable of her stock and we were able to pick up a local cookbook and cheese biscuits for a friend who watched our pups while we were away. If we had stayed in there any longer I probably would've come home with even more stuff. I would highly suggest bopping in here for a memento to bring back home or for great local holiday or host gifts! read more

I couldn't believe the terrible experience I had the first time I was in this store a few years ago and thought I would give it another try today. Well same result. On Dec 26, While vacationing in Charleston over the Christmas holidays, my husband and I walked into Noddy. I found everything in the shop to be overpriced, especially for the quality, but my husband really wanted to buy a Christmas gift for me and chose a 115.00 purse. On Dec 27, I decided I really didn't like the purse, and went back to exchange it. I couldn't find anything I wanted to exchange the purse for, but chose a 90.00 item, asking if I could get a cash refund for the 15.00 difference. The owner who waited on me Sunday said she couldn't give a cash refund and I would have to purchase an item for exactly 115.00 or more if I wanted to exchange the purse. When I asked her why, she said "I would, but the other owner is retiring soon...." She didn't finish the sentence, but proceeded to show me other more expensive items to exchange the purse for. I truly couldn't find anything else in the shop I wanted, but finally chose 2 items, totaling 165.00. The owner commented "see, only 46.00 more to get the exchange ". i Now have 2 overpriced items that I would have not purchased otherwise. read more

This little gem next to the Millhouse hotel was one of my favorite finds! Her gifts are unique and made by artisans who help to curate and compliment the shop's southern flare. It reminds me of boutiques in Paris that carry things you won't find just anywhere but feature an unexpected glimpse of what is special about Charleston. The owner was so helpful and made great suggestions about the local spots...I only wish I could've stayed longer to collect more from her treasures!
