Loved my experience at Noko! Not only was the food amazing, but the service was top notch. This restaurant is tapas style, but with asian cuisine. There were so many things we tried: spicy tuna crispy rice, hamachi crudo, salmon crudo, korean hot wings, wagyu teppanyaki, burnt end lettuce wraps, grilled ginger chicken, broccolini, and crab fried rice. Honestly I don't think you could go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal favs were the spicy tuna crispy rice, korean hot wings, and grilled ginger chicken.

Best food and ambiance ever. Went with my best friend and was at bar with my husband! Great service and bartenders and great food!

7 of us did dinner here. This is Nashville fine dining at its best! We loved it all! It's small plates (some were sizable like the tomahawk steak) and you share as they come out. We tried about 18 plates for 7 people and a few were doubles. It was all great but our favs were: Beef belly burnt ends Burrata Lobster bao buns Brazino fish Prices reflect the high quality of the prepared dishes so expect that. This ain't Taco Bell... As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

This spot is highly rated for a reason! From the ambiance and welcoming staff upon arrival to the standout flavors this is a place you do not want to skip. We sat at the bar and had a great experience, our bartender was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. The appetizers were great we ordered a bunch of things but, especially the crispy tuna rice and lettuce wraps were very good. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well executed. Do not skip the soft serve for dessert -- fluffy and decadent, the perfect way to end the meal. Give yourself time to park as it is super limited

I've been here a bunch of times to celebrate birthdays or just to take friends when they are in town! Always 11/10 service everything is SO GOOD! My favorites are obviously spicy tuna crispy rice and lobster bow buns sound so interesting but they're basically a mini lobster roll! Gotta finish off with coconut cake and some dole whip!!

Noko is our go-to spot for birthdays, anniversaries, and whenever friends are in town. The staff always makes us feel welcome, and they genuinely want you to have a great experience. Our favorites are the crispy rice dumplings, lobster bao, and the Anti Hero drink--you really can't go wrong with any of them. Every visit is memorable, and our guests always thank us for bringing them here. Highly recommend Noko for a special occasion or a great night out!

There is never a time where this isn't one of the best meals. The hospitality is unmatched. I feel like I'm eating at a friend or family members' home. The food was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make sure my friend felt celebrated.

I had a lovely time at Noko in Nashville during my road trip. I had wanted to visit on my last trip, so I made sure to stop in this time. I sat at the bar and enjoyed a crisp, refreshing vinho verde. I ordered the salmon carpaccio with ponzu, sweet drop peppers, and pickled wasabi, as well as the Wagyu tartare with sesame aioli, kizami, toasted nori, and rice. The bartender was kind enough to treat me to the tuna crispy rice with spicy tuna, serrano, sweet soy, and spicy aioli. It was a quick dinner, but I really enjoyed the space. The music was fun, and the staff was welcoming, helpful, and generous.

Had to check out Noko after my brother recommended it--and it absolutely lived up to the hype. The vibe was amazing, with so many people celebrating birthdays, anniversaries, and girls' nights. It definitely feels like a go-to spot for special occasions. Service was fantastic (shoutout to Ava for taking great care of us!). Drinks: Field Recordings (orange wine) - solid and easy to drink Ube Colada - really fun, creamy ube + coconut + rum combo Food: 1) Edamame - MUST get. The truffle salt + fire grill char takes it to another level. So simple but so good. 2) Wagyu Beef Cheeks - super flavorful curry and melt-in-your-mouth tender Burnt Ends Lettuce Wraps - a fun fusion moment with BBQ flavors, fresh and balanced Market Catch (halibut for us) - incredibly fresh with a light cucumber, carrot, ginger, sesame salad Other notes: Lobster Bao Buns - crispy baos were interesting, but overall just okay Crispy Tuna - recommended by our server and very solid, but more on the standard side (you'll see it on almost every table) Bonus: They are great for celebrations. We got a dole whip and Ube gelato on the house for our anniversary. And also tries their Brookie. Miso caramel, black sesame cookie brownie and vanilla gelato was soo good. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Noko for a nice dinner or special occasion. Would absolutely come back!

Back for a second culinary tour at Noko, service was 5 stars with a slight l dip in some dishes. We loved the Hamachi crudo so much last time, but it was not near as fresh this visit. The tuna was great. The broccolini was good and fresh. I wish more basil was served with the burnt ends. Crispy potatoes were a favorite at the table, and the shining star was the Bronzini for the savory food. The crispy rice was consistent. For dessert, I loved the ube gelato. That was very special. Our server Gavin was amazing and paced the dishes perfectly. We sat on the patio extension which was a little quieter, but it was warm and relaxing there.

We picked this place to celebrate our anniversary and I'm so glad we did. We were originally sitted inside but the AC was blasting on us, so we asked to be moved to the patio instead. Luckily, they were able to clear a table for us outside; the weather was perfect for the patio. Following the server's recommendation of at least a couple of dishes per person, we ordered several things to try. My absolute favorites were bluefin tuna crudo, tuna crispy rice and the A5 wagyu teppanyaki. The bluefin tuna and wagyu just melted in my mouth; the truffle butter for the wagyu was definitely a great addition. The crab fried rice was also quite good. The lobster bao buns and hurricane fries on the other hand were okay; the fries were too salty in my opinion. It probably would have been better if the aioli were on the side. As an ube fan, of course I had to try the ube colada and the ube gelato. Both were very good. The ube colada doesn't taste alcoholic, but you can definitely feel the buzz. Overall, it was a great experience and I highly recommend people giving this place a try!

I've been so excited to try Noko since I don't live in Nashville, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The service was amazing and everything came out super quickly, which we loved since we ordered a bunch of share plates. We tried the lobster bao buns (my absolute favorite), hurricane fries, crab fried rice, and burnt ends. The bao buns were a standout--so flavorful and perfectly done. The hurricane fries were great for sharing, and while the crab fried rice was good, it could've used a bit more flavor. The burnt ends were tasty but the portion was on the smaller side. The ambiance was beautiful and really set the mood, and the staff went out of their way to make my birthday celebration feel special, which meant a lot. Overall, it was such a great experience, and I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Nashville.

My family has gone several times and truly love this place! The staff is AMAZING and so intentional. The aesthetic is beautiful. Food tastes ridiculously good. We usually get the tomahawk with a handful of sides... and eat family style. Everything is just really great about Noko. Brunch on Sundays are also a must!!!

Are reservations required or are walk ins allowed?

You can walk in. Reservations for dining room recommended. I usually sit at bar so walk in is totally fine for that usually.

    Is Noko, kid friendly?

I think kids would be welcome. This is a higher end restaurant and a more sophisticated menu. So I think it would depend on if your kid does okay at nicer places with a high end menu. I don't think they have a kids menu.

Menu had plenty of options. We got seated right away. For appetizers we ordered the Vietnamese chicken wings, the gyoza, a miso soup and the ginger salad to start. Overall great food, definitely worth trying. The portions were big and it tasted delicious. The sesame chicken bowl had way too much sauce for our liking. The main little issue I had was that they never picked up our plates during our meal, so our table was packed with different plates. Even when the dessert came, plates were still all on our table. A good amoutn of tables, but does not feel too crowded. To get Shabu Shabu, you either sit at the bar or you grab a table that is condusive to shabu shabu. If you have multiple people ordering shabu shabu with different broths, you should grab the bar. The New York strip is better than the short rib, in my view. I did the miso broth, which is not overly salty, like some. A definite win for me. Adding in the spicy chile oil, fresh garlic, and scallions added the proper kick to the broth. The handroll was truly a handroll. She said she preferred when they sent it out rolled, as there was more rice than she normally likes. But the salmon itself was done well and tasty. The lamb lollipops were excellently done. I would return for this alone. Having numbers on the drinks is likely authentic, but I love creative names. The 35 is a Japanese twist on an Old Fashioned. The sishito pepper is a nice touch as a garnish (or appetizer?). The 34 was even better. It did not quite hit the high note of a similar drink at Sushi-San, but it did not disappoint. I can safely recommend this to anyone wanting to get shabu shabu without the all you can eat buffet option you get at shabu shabu on West End.
