We chose a non busy time it wasn't that packed. This restaurant is not compact but definitely crowded in the sense that tables are very close to one another. The staff is extremely polite, helpful and friendly. We ordered a little bit of everything including liver. Each item was bursting of flavor and the meat used was top notch quality. Price point isn't bad. Do google the menu with pricing and these change quite often in places like Turkey which is a tourist hub. We paid with credit card no issues. Tonight, we did not order food but were served by the pit master and his favorite creations. We dined on liver skewers with lamb tail fat, grilled garlic, lamb chops, kebobs, grilled onions, spicy breads, grilled peppers, and grilled tomatoes. It was entertaining, warm and completely interactive. The mezzes were also delicious but one has to be cautious not to load up on the salads. I cannot convey just how much fun it was to sit table side tonight. As engaging as the pit master was, his cooking skills are second to none with respect to his grill. Beş Bıçak Steakhosue is a meart heaven founded by 5 tough young men. The venue is located very far from us and center of Istanbul. When we asked the reason of this they told us there are not any venue in this region with a right taste and quality and that region needs a qualified venue. They have preferred to become the biggest in a small area instead of becoming a small option in a big region. The venue has been designed exactly as steakhouse concept. The inside area was very chic. They have a wooden bull head work with tide effect on the ceiling which we have not seen like that before. Dry aged meats were demonstrating in a nice fridge. Grill section was in a visible area but they do not bother you in sitting area. You can easily watch the how they cook the meats. We tried a lot of kinds as small portions on the evening of we went.
