Meet the Business Owner: Tom N.

Tom Nolan is a self starter & has been self employed for most of his life. Tom grew up on a working farm that he & his brother's started at a VERY young age. They raised sweet corn & vegetables, beef cows, chickens, rabbits & even pointing bird dogs. In addition; Tom joined his family's retail business and actively engaged in growing the business via sales, promoting & marketing products. After graduating from College & receiving his bachelor's degree; Tom was hired by Rockport Shoe Company as an account executive. While working for Rockport, Tom grew his territory over 240% in just over 2 years. At that time; his love of business gravitated towards the insurance industry. In 1997, Tom became an Insurance Agent for Farm Family Insurance Company & grew his multi line book of business. On May 1, 2006, Tom decided to join the ranks of the Independent Insurance Agents force to enable him to be more competitive. In addition; he can now offer clients multiple insurance products.
