Love the service whenever I go here. If you're looking to be "outside" but still want chill vibes then I'd recommend here. The music is great, and on specific days they have afrobeats. The hookah is a great price, and the drinks are good! There are also a lot of photo ops as well. Note: it is $20 to park, and gratuity is added on your bill

Came to meet a friend while we were in town and he suggested this place. It was decorated soooo nice and was definitely a vibe for a Monday night. It was chill and they also had karaoke and free shots. They also had games you can play, we played giant uno. We had so much fun, we didn't try the food but I definitely will next time. Drinks were strong and hookah was great!

Experience was 5/5 stars. Great happy hour, great DJ, don't have to call your server around. Good prices. Good hookah. Clean bathroom. Easy parking. Everything I want in a bar/lounge. Will be back.

Tip- Reservations are a must. 2 hour seating limit. Have to pay for parking .. not a fan of the seating limit or parking but that's Houston culture for you. Now that's out of the way... food is good, drinks are strong, hookah is hittin. came during the soft opening and a few weeks after the grand opening. Nice vibe for date night, birthday dinners, etc. entertainment on certain nights (came on a Saturday and there were belly dancers). excited to see what's in store for this Nomad.

I absolutely love this place. The first time visit was a great experience due to the atmosphere, vibe, and the look. During the first visit, we were blown away by our waitress, "DJ"...she was amazing. When I popped in for the 2nd visit this weekend, I requested DJ but she was not there, but Ms Anari stepped in and saved the day. She was hosting, visiting our table and running up and down the stairs like a champ!!!!! The food, the hookah, and the service was TOP NOTCH!!! I can't wait to return!

This place offers an elegant, yet thoughtfully designed space--everything from the lighting, the decor... it all creates a warm, modern vibe that sets the tone for a great night out. We were seated fairly quick (under 5 mins.) and enjoyed an inviting atmosphere, great drinks, southern flavors & hookah. Our server, DJ, was attentive and courteous, checking in regularly and making sure we were comfortable. And you can't forget about the actual DJ on the second floor with a beautiful blend of eclectic genres playing all night. Although the service was slightly delayed at times, it did not take away from the overall experience. Hoping to return soon.

I was invited to a Galentine's event with my friends. The customer service was excellent very quick and friendly. The decor and layout of the restaurant is perfect for groups and a great date spot. This place did not disappoint on anything everything was fantastic. I had the Rich B and Sitting sideways cocktails both were good. The food was amazing as well we shared appetizers and every last one was delicious. The entree I ordered was the lamb chops. These were some of the best lamb chops I ever tasted. In addition, they have an excellent happy hour selection as well. Definitely will be back soon!

The vibe is cool in here. Its very relaxed and the dj was playing good music. My group ordered the lamb chops with grits and eggs, the biscuits and gravy with eggs, chicken and waffles, fried cauliflower, fish and grits, and a crab cake. The service was really good. Our server took great care of us. The kitchen did as well since there was a miscommunication that the crab cake came with no sauce if a la carte. The food overall was pretty good. The lamb chops were cooked reall well. We got them medium. The biscuits and gravy had good flavor. I'm assuming the chicken and waffles were good since my friend cleaned his plate. This is definitely a nice spot that wasnt overly crowded and loud. I definitely want to come back for happy hour.

Salmon burgers were juicy and light!! Very good!!

Job well done, Chef!! The food was delicious, the live music was amazing and the bartenders were fabulous!!

SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.. For everyone wondering how their bills are so high when menu prices are low- BE AWARE!!! They charge an absurd "Sitting sideways" Fee ($15 per person). Would have never dined here if we were told upfront that these things would be apart of our bill.. SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES.

We made it to Nomad Reserve last night since it's been on our list. Off the back, I do not like the mandatory $20 to park after 5pm when it's a whole open parking lot!! But we paid it anyways. We walked in and the aesthics are gorgeous! It's just cute cute! They had the r&b music going so it was a whole vibe. We made reservations and we're sat down right away. However we sat waiting on a waitress and water for about 15 minutes. But once we got one the experience got better. We ordered "sitting sidewayz" for the drinks and it was GOOD! We ordered the wings and we're a little puzzled cause they were on the small side but it was alot of them. They were Hennessey and lemon pepper for the flavor and them thangs were soooo good. We were licking our fingers! For the entree I had catfish and etouffee and Darrell had the rib eye steak burger with fries. When I tell you this food was sooooo good and hot. Thank you to the chef! The crowd is a little on the younger side..maybe 25 and up..but they are not there twerking on tables..they are there for the hookah and pictures. So if you don't mind that... give them a try. They do seem to be birthday party central. Everyone was celebrating yesterday. They do auto add that gratuity though..no matter the size of the party. I definitely want to try again for brunch and free parking (call me cheap if you wanna.. lol!)

    Inside, so cute.

If you live here and enjoy hookah, of course you're family with the original Nomad at the corner of Fountainview and Westheimer, which is now closed to make way for this new and very much improved NOMAD RESERVE. It's absolutely beautiful inside and the outside patio area is so cute!! Beautifully decorated with a full bar, so no more BYOB. The happy hour specials were amazing! At the time of review, 1/18/25 $5 frozens, $7 lemon drops and margaritas. The food was great, just like the original Nomad. Our waitress - so sorry I forgot her name was very polite and helpful. We also got to meet the chef due to a little snafu that she made right IMMEDIATELY. I'm a fan and will definitely be back very soon.

Everything we ordered!! Hawaiian glazed salmon, Cornish hen

It did not start at 8 o'clock, but in fact, we probably started playing bingo around nine. They have great music and it's a great vibe so it made the waiting better but I do wish that it started on time or at least 30 minutes late not a full hour. I made reservations, but when I got there, she didn't see me and in all honesty I looked and I have booked the reservations for the wrong day. They were super accommodating and we actually got a really nice booth, even though we didn't have reservations. The staff is very friendly and was able to answer all questions that we had. My friend ordered the Southwest eggrolls and we were not impressed by them, but I did order a basket of fries and those were actually really really good. The next time we go, I'll probably order a bigger meal like catfish and fries or something. I ordered a strawberry lemon drop and my friend ordered the regular one, but she changed her vodka to Tito's as they use some other vodka, but I was fine with it. This place is so cute and it has a great vibe. I can't wait to go back.

Food was good. Love the southwest eggrolls. Jollof rice was not like any I've had before, it was just rice and some smoky flavor. Wings were decent, loved the taste of the ranch & they ain't skimpy on the napkins, love that. Music bingo isn't exactly like the bingo I've done. This was regular bingo, they just had good music playing. I don't really think that they need an MC, as they kept telling us to look at the screen for the numbers. The prizes are good though. Also, they are $15 a piece for three squares and three games However, they charge two hidden fees (they don't tell you ahead of time) on the check, one is for 20% and the other is I believe 3%. Plus, the way that the drinks were advertised to us was not how they came on the bill.

Kenneth, who initially assisted our table, provided exceptional hospitality and attentiveness that made us feel welcomed and valued as guests. Unfortunately, once the shift changed, the experience noticeably declined. A sweet young lady did begin assisting us, and while she was kind, the level of attentiveness to our table drastically changed. As a Black couple, we could not help but notice the difference in treatment throughout the remainder of the evening. A non-Black couple was seated across from us, and within approximately 30 minutes, we observed at least 7 different staff members check on their table, with easily 20-25 interactions from staff overall throughout the night. The manager alone approached their table multiple times while we struggled to receive basic assistance. Meanwhile, we waited nearly 45 minutes for smoothies, had difficulty getting anyone's attention, and had to physically get up from our table more than once just to receive assistance. As the night continued, it became increasingly apparent that other ethnicities were receiving noticeably better and more attentive service than we were. What makes this especially disappointing is that the experience started off so positively. The ambience, food, and initial hospitality had us excited to return. However, the inconsistency in service and the stark contrast in treatment left us feeling uncomfortable, overlooked, and unwelcome. Whether intentional or not, perception matters, and unfortunately, we left feeling like our presence, and our money, was not valued the same way as others around us. I truly hate that the night ended this way because this place has so much potential, but based on our experience, we will not be returning.

Elizabeth waited on us. She was very cheerful and efficient . Got the nojitos for drinks, which are non alcoholic mojitos. I took the Purple Poison and others got the Mango, Strawberry etc. One ordered the Moroccon tea, and it came in a cute artistic pot. All non- alcoholic were priced between 8-$11. For food got the Cauliflower for starters. It was hot and pretty good. Then came the pasta, the Caprsese Avocado toasts and lastly the hummus pita. This was just our vegetarian table. The Avocado toasts was yummy but I found it a tad salty. Maybe because of the sweet drink , I don't know. The pasta was hot creamy and just the right texture. The hummus and pita was fresh but compared to the others mentioned above faded a bit in glamour. Last came the Molton lava cake with butterscotch icecream.... yummy..... and perfect way to end the meal. Parkerz has brunch options and right now Galantine special is going on. I must mention that they have so many spots to take some great insta worthy pics including the little waterfall at the back. Beware, Construction is going on at the entrance, and I hope they can do something about the wires over the waterfall so pics can be even better. There were many groups that came to celebrate today, there was group of gals all dressed in pure white, a bday gal gang .... girls day out it was ! Happy Galantine's Day to all the ladies out there.

We were greeted immediately by the host and seated right away--honestly, that was the smoothest and best service we received all night. After that... things slowed down a lot. It took forever for our waitress to come to the table. I tried to give grace since it was Valentine's Day, but the place wasn't even crowded, so the delay was confusing. Now let's talk about the lavender lemon drop--because when it finally arrived? Whew. Delicious. Smooth, flavorful, and dangerously sneaky. I genuinely couldn't taste the alcohol, which is both a compliment and a warning . The wait time for the drink was long, but the payoff was there. For food, we ordered the Trap Trio (egg rolls, chicken sliders, and wings). Everything tasted good, though we asked for grilled chicken sliders and received fried instead. Not a dealbreaker, but worth noting. Still enjoyable overall. I also had the shrimp Caesar salad. The shrimp were well-seasoned and not rubbery (thankfully), but the salad itself didn't really stand out--just okay, nothing memorable. Overall, Foxtrap is a nice vibe spot with good drinks and decent food. I really hope the service improves and that the waitstaff receives more consistent training, because with better service, this place could truly shine.
