What a cosy hostel! Friendly. Small. Relaxing…read more This is what holidays feel like - the sun on your skin sitting in the bar area for breakfast and planning the day :) abut of reggae music and a nice pile of exotic fruits. If you are looking for party - you won't find it here! Here you will find movie nights and a guest with the guitar for the evenings. It's a bit outside of town, but there is a free bus shuttle from the hostel to the beach and to Noosa junction where you basically have to go for most of the adventure trips! Rooms are average, but you won't need them for more than sleeping anyhow.

This was the first hostel I ever stayed at and it was alright. I stayed in a 6 female only room and…read morehad a top bunk. My friend stayed in the room next to me as they were not able to accommodate us in the same room. The people were sociable, the eating area is nice. The pool looked like it could use a sweeping as there was lots of leaves and a dirt layer. There were really nice lockers with keys that you are given, and the plugs were located in there. Girls that were in my room brought a standup fan, but without that the ceiling fan was not enough to keep us chilled and we sweat all night. Also, there were no shades on the windows, so at 5/6 am all the light would poor in. The bathrooms needed a cleaning because there was a line of ants in one shower and there were no lighting in the showers, only a skylight. Basically, you have to shower during the day or you are blind. The free bus to the middle of Noosa is a great plus, the schedule is posted as a picture of mine. It was a good hostel to start me out on because it was not horrible, but it's also not the nicest hostel I have ever stayed at. I'd recommend it to my friends if they fixed the absurd heat issue in summer and put some lighting in the bathroom showers!

It got everything right, a bar and restaurant,…read moreplayroom, covered outdoor terrace on the second floor (keyword: covered, as it poured rain for a few days). Walk distance to the beach (excellent for long board). You could rent a board if you didn't already have one. For backpackers, it often comes down to two things. Electricity and internet. I was lucky to wait for only a day for the guy next to the plug to check out, got his bed, and happily lived with my power plug for the next couple of weeks. Also, it was next to the backdoor where connects to the terrace, extra jackpot there. The only inconvenience would be the kitchen, where it's located at the another building, and also a bit small given the number of people stay around here (which was almost always full, by the way). But hey, couldn't beat the view here, up in the little hill here in Noosa Heads. My previous company actually got a branch here, and I was jokingly saying that I was down to just move in here. Well, not after I realized how expensive the actual residence here that would cost me...
