Love the food, place is still clean, and service is fast. But a $14 'meal' deal does not come with a drink. :(

Hot Chicken Sando

This was my second time trying Nonla burger. Both times have been fantastic. I had previously ordered the special of the day, which was a brisket burnt ends burger. It was loaded with flavor and a fantastic burger. This time I ordered the Hot Chicken Sando. It was delicious and quite spicy. If you like a spicy, hot sandwich dripping with chili oil, this is the chicken sandwich for you. It chicken is very crispy even with the sauce on it. It was spicy! I would say a bit more than a medium spice, which lingered. The service is friendly and I love that they play '80's music. Overall, I can't wait to try order menu items.

N.B. Double, minus tomatoes

My employer treated us to Nonla Burger for lunch today. I was excited because I have not been there in a while. Nonla's food is priced higher than Culver's, so I tend to go to Culver's when I'm in the mood for a good burger. I ordered the N.B. Double, minus tomatoes, which is their double cheeseburger. I did not order fries because the burger fills me up. I don't know if I had built the food memory up too much or what, but I was very underwhelmed by the taste. The burger was cooked well and I probably should have removed some of the onions they piled on (I could really use my toothbrush/toothpaste right now lol), but it did not taste as good as I remembered. I am glad that I did not pay for the burger as it was not worth the price paid.

My family and I have been stopping at Nonla burger for years ever since my brother went to school at Western Michigan. These days no La is still our go to pit stop food destination while we drive from Detroit to Chicago. The style of these burger is reminiscent of In N Out. They are extremely consistent with the meals and I have never once been disappointed with a burger. Is it as amazing, as In N Out? No, but that doesn't take away from the quality. The go to is the NB double cheeseburger. When I'm not in the mood for a burger I'll get the chicken sandwich which is also a solid option. You won't be disappointed with either option. I do love grabbing a shake of the day whenever I'm there. I have yet to have a milkshake I haven't enjoyed either.

Definitely overrated , patty was SUPER BLAND, lettuce was clear as day , was given a good big piece of onion , however that had no flavor either might've been sitting for a week , very disappointed , but hey it was cheap so whatever , but prefer Wendy's or McDonald's even over this .

Cheeseburger, Nonla Wings, and Nonla Way Fries

We drive 45 min to come get burgers at Nonla Burger. The patties aren't super thick and I love the ratio of onion, lettuce, and tomato that comes with the cheeseburger! The wings are okay in flavor, but the cheeseburger and fries are amazing! I've been to both Kalamazoo locations and enjoyed the same great burger and service. Plus you have a drive thru at the Drake road location which is a plus.

DATE & TIME OF VISIT: October 19, 2024 @ 3:10 pm. They were not too busy (1 order in front of us). AMBIANCE & CLEANLINESS: Fun little place. Be warned it's not a big place so seating (especially indoor) is very limited. When we were walking up there were many pleasant smells lingering outside. FRONT COUNTER: The lady taking our order was very pleasant as well as the one who brought our food out. FOOD: This is what we ordered.... N.B. Double Meal (#1) -- Taste: was good. Wasn't anything special or made us go "oh wow". Meal comes with side of fries and soda. Price: $14.65 Hot Chicken Sando Meal (#6) -- Taste: chicken was juicy, good flavor, bite messy you definitely need napkins lol. Size: average (normal size for most chicken sandwiches at restaurants). Served with fries and a soda. Price: $14.65 BBQ Chicken Club Meal (#7) -- Taste: was a thin grilled chicken breast with good flavor, definitely mess so have napkins lol. Size: average (normal size for most burgers at restaurants). Served with a side of fries and a soda. Price: $16.50 OVERALL THOUGHTS: Paid $65 which wasn't bad for what you got. Decent flavors, fries were crispy and hot. Some interior so not much seating, fun decor, and a very small basic menu. WOULD I RETURN? More than likely no, but they do have decent food for the price just not something we would actively seek out again.

Great food and an even better price! Came here as a pit stop during a road trip and everyone enjoyed their food. We tried the hamburger, cheeseburger, hot chicken sando, salad, fries, and shake of the day. It tasted fresh and even though it's structured like a fast food restaurant, it's much better--you can tell there was some care put into the burgers. The interior has cute decorations and had plenty of seating when we went on a Friday evening. The staff at the front was friendly and our food came out in under 10 minutes.

Nonla Burger is a great spot! The food was fast and flavorful, and the atmosphere was inviting with nice music in the background. I'll definitely be back!

Regular burger (I took out the Nonla Way jalapenos) and fries

Huge fan of Nonla - I live in the Detroit area and whenever I visit my Portage friends, we usually get Doordash from this location, like we did tonight. I usually get a combo with root beer, a single hamburger (Nonla Way), and fries. I can't do spicy so I have to take the jalapenos off, for Nonla Way toppings - unfortunately there's no way to specify that on Doordash. I get the fries plain (you can get those Nonla Way too) but we always order lots of Nonla sauce for dipping. Today, unfortunately, they included their spicy ranch for dipping instead - it was still tasty but not what we ordered. Overall I love Nonla though and will definitely be ordering from them again - just wish they had the option to add special instructions for delivery orders, like no jalapenos.

We got take out order and it was decent. We weren't big fans of their wing's flavor. Food cane out very fast!! I'd absolutely go try more!

Pretty good! Always go for the crispy chicken sando w/ shake of the day (fav is strawberry). Skip the fries, usually dry/cold.

In town for the day on a breezy, cold October day. This place looked good. Hopefully the burger is as good as they say.

Good burger, reminded me of in and out. Generous portion of well cooked fries. Not a ton of seating, so probably more of a take out spot.

Presentation - 10/10 Taste & Flavor - 10/10 When getting food here you can get a good variety of spicy and savory especially when it comes to their burgers their drinks are made with much care. Nothing is too overpowering Portion Size - 10/10 I have a very small stomach so things tend to fill me up regardless however my husband is an endless pit and the burger seemed to fill him up for the time being. Value for your money? Overall Rating: 10/10 Final Verdict: The Old goat tavern is by far place I would return to especially for a quick bite and something that's going to kill me up for a cheap price. It's good for a night out on the town or just drinks with friends they have a wide variety of drinks and drafts and a good burger. I highly recommend giving this place a try if you haven't already they live up to the hype.

My burger has layers of cheese and meat and sauce. Mouth full of goodness. Also my "back forty" burger is only $13. Pretty good deal in 2024. Sides are extra though Sides are not so much, just taste like they are from the freezer and straight into the fryer. Burger is the main character anyway. Drinks are weak, you can probably down a couple mix drinks and still blow below limit. With that being said, this is still a better place to eat and watch a game than BWW.

Nestled in downtown Kalamazoo, Brick and Brine specializes in cocktails and steaks, but they also offer a variety of menu options to fit all tastes. We celebrated my father's 70th birthday here, and it didn't disappoint. They offer a variety of spaces to fit small and large groups. We hosted 10 people in their main dining room, and it was the perfect ambiance. Their dinner rolls are complimentary, super fluffy and come with a side of black salted butter. We also started with the house salad, and I split two specials - a potatoes au gratin dish along with a dish called Jafar's Chicken. Both were incredible. I highly recommend venturing here for any occasion! Thank you, Kenzie and team for an amazing time!
