The hotel said they were unable to help with any food but I found this pub to be open until 0200. I drove down there 0030 not really having great expectations of getting anything to eat but the staff there went above and beyond to accommodate me and made me a delicious hot ham and cheese panini to go even though their kitchen had officially closed at 2200. The price was very reasonable, 8 Euros for the sandwich and bityle of ginger beer. The staff refused the extra tip I tried to give them. They were so kind and I was extremely grateful as I hadn't had anything to eat since lunch over 10 hours earlier.

My first visit here was by chance 5 months ago when looking for a winery that was open late…read more Although this isn't a winery, they do have a wine cellar where they make their own wine and a very cute bar area that serves cocktails, wine, and beer. We ended up having dinner here. Even though it was so late they were still very accommodating. Fast forward to October 2023, we came back to Tuscany and knew we had to make a stop at Chiostro Cennini. We made the 2 hour drive and it was worth it. As soon as we walked into the dining area, we were greeted with "welcome back" from Lucia, the co-owner. That immediately melted my heart and made me feel so welcomed that my fiancé and I were remembered from a visit 5 months prior. The entire atmosphere is cosy and intimate and keeps us coming back. The food is very good and at a great price! It's only our third time here but it feels like home and we will keep coming back whenever we are in Tuscany. Thank you Lucia and Carlo for a memorable experience!
