The cost of fuel can be tens of cents cheaper than the name brands, and you still get Top Tier Gas (all the detergent additives). Add to the fact that many of the costco gas stations (outside major metropolitan areas & all california) tend not to have lines. Sometimes off the beaten path, but saving several dollars per fill up is A-OK by me !!!!

If you're using apple pay with the Citibank card, you'll need your membership card first. Then you can tap to pay. The attendant at the pump is helpful if you're having trouble with your membership card and they are polite. Occasionally, they will chat with you while you pump your gas. They wipe the pumps periodically and it's comforting to have them there at night when it's dark.
