Noori's fried chicken is a delight - the soy garlic flavor on the thigh and breast was a classic Korean fried chicken choice. The coleslaw on the side added a refreshing touch, balancing the saltiness well. The bulgogi plate with rice and kimchi didn't quite hit the mark overall for me personally. It was still overall a good plate still; however, I don't think I would get the bulgogi again. The japchae at the neighboring table looked DELISH and has me eager for a return visit! Ok there's crispy chicken and there's crunchy chicken. This is crunchy chicken. They were really nice, but I think they forgot to make my order because I was waiting for about a half hour. They gave me a free drink so that helped. The restaurant was nice and clean. The chicken was fresh and hot and lemme tell you, there's nothing like it. Amazing, amazing lunch spot. Service was friendly, quick and helped us decide what to order. Flavors were SO fresh and unique. We split the sweet and spicy tenders and bibimbop with beef. Stopped by on the way to the airport right when they opened. They quickly sat us and we scanned the QR code to see the menu. We ordered milk tea boba, soy garlic wings, and tofu bimbimbap. Everything came our quickly and super hot and fresh. I loved the gochuang sauce for the bimbimbap. It was a super generous portion with lots of veggies and tofu. We got 8 wings and they were so big! We only ended up eating 2 each and had four left over. They soy garlic was really good and I feel like there was another flavor (maybe ginger?) but I really liked it! My least favorite was the boba, it was a little powdery and not enough ice. I probably wouldn't get it again. You walk in and the counter is to the right and the tables are along the left wall. The atmosphere is very modern. I ordered the Japchae ($12) with beef ($4) and 8pcs Korean Fried Chicken Wings with Garlic Soy sauce ($15).  Japchae is glass noodles with assorted vegetables. It was good, but a little bit boring in the taste department. The Wings were cooked very well. Chicken was tender and juicy and came right off the bone. It was nice and crispy like it's supposed to be. The chicken itself tasted very good. To me the issue was the sauce. First it was only drizzled on. Secondly while it's better than okay, it's nowhere near as good/amazing as the sauce at the other korean chicken joint. The service was friendly and efficient. No complaints there. Overall all in an apples to apples comparison the best I can give them is 4 stars. Would I return? Probably not. I wouldn't be opposed if someone else wanted to, but I'd recommend the other place first. read more

We've gotten takeout from Noori loads of times, but this was our first time dining in! The interior is modern and cozy, with Korean tv on the screens. Our food was cooked to perfection and we had excellent service. We got the Spicy Pork Belly and the Noori Strips with Supreme Sauce, both of which had some kick but not overly spicy. Visited Noori Chicken tonight for a quick dinner. I ordered garlic soy chicken strips and had garlic dumplings as an appetizer. (if you haven't noticed, I love garlic soy) The dumplings had a great flavor but I felt they could have even been better if made with beef, pork or a vegetable assortment. Chicken strips were tough and dry. The garlic soy taste was barely evident. I don't know if they were overcooked or what. They were "OK" but certainly not worth returning for. We should have tried this place sooner! We came in for lunch with a group of 7 and ordered a variety of things to try. The dining room was very clean and inviting but we did all notice a strange smell in the entrance area. There was only one girl taking care of the entire restaurant, which made us feel bad, but she was doing the best she could. She was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding their menu and she checked in as often as she could while taking care of at least 5 other tables. We started with the Mini Egg Rolls and Soy Garlic Dumplings and they were both delicious. Both included plenty so sharing was easy with the whole table. The Mini Egg Rolls were crispy and they came with a great sauce for dipping. The Soy Garlic Dumplings were some of the best I've had and full of flavor. We ordered 24 pieces of chicken, Bulgogi Beef, and a Bibimbap to share. We picked a variety of tenders, wings, and drumsticks/thighs. We tried the Soy Garlic, Sweet & Mild, and Supreme (medium spicy). They were all delicious but the Soy Garlic Tenders were probably the favorite if we had to choose. Amazing!!! MUST TRY, especially if you are a chicken fan. I'd give 6 stars if I could because everything was perfect. We ate like kings and thoroughly enjoyed all the delicious new flavors. We tried two entrees, the beef bulgogi and the (amazing) chicken legs & thighs. They came with a bunch of fun little salad-y items and it was pure love. Our server was excellent at explaining flavors and Korean nuances, and really helped us enjoy the meal. It came with an authentic large wet wipe for your fingers. We were served very quickly. The beef bulgogi is served with carrots, onion, and mushroom on a hot plate. It looked just like the pic someone else posted. It comes with a side of rice as well as a little dish of kimchi, beautifully trimmed baby romaine leaves, and a really yummy red sauce that is impossible for me to describe but was great on the lettuce. I'm not a huge kimchi fan usually, but this wasn't too spicy and tasted fresh. Did you know it's full of probiotics? So good for you! The chicken came with two little salad ramekins... one of a very creamy slaw and the other of daikon radish cubes in a perfect vinaigrette that was really good! But the star of the show was the chicken.... It came out like a bride down the aisle lol. It was the last item because they make it fresh to order; It's NOT sitting in a warmer, and you can tell. We got the legs and thighs... just look at the pic of these beauties. I know this is standard because I saw some other served as takeout (that was flying out of the kitchen all night) and they looked just as good. The red sauce was the sweet and mild, and is the traditional Korean chicken sauce and had a little bit of spice. The light sauce was soy garlic, and was mild yet flavorful enough to please everyone. It was served piping hot, and was so juicy I swallowed my pride and wore my napkin tucked into my neck like a cartoon character because I knew drips were unavoidable. Just pure goodness. My husband isn't much of a chicken-on-the-bone guy, but he also was impressed. We both immediately were planning our return, which says something since this place is over two hours away lol. Thankfully it's easy to plan: Fredrick Meijer Gardens is just a mile or so down the street. It's also just about 5 minutes off the freeway. Best decision ever. The Supreme flavor was great - spicy, warm, and just a hint of sweetness to it. The wings were meaty & had just the right amount of crunch. The side of coleslaw & something else (???) were perfect for cutting the heat of the wings. The dumplings - again FLAVOR!!! Gentle crunch and had a decent amount of "stuffing". If you had any doubts, try this place out. Next time I'm going for a main dish - I've been dying for a great Korean food place in GR and voila! Ps - staff is great. Oh, the chicken wings. Oh my. Came here for a beef dish, but the chicken wings were insane. Crunchy, sticky and delicious. Could have made the wings our dinner. the dumplings were good, as well. Hot, tasty, full of flavor. Order the wings and the dumplings and you'll be satisfied. But those were just to get us started! We ordered the Beef bulgogi and Japchae bowl with steak as the entrées. They were good, but not at the level of the wings and dumplings. The restaurant had a decent feel with tvs playing Korean stations. Staff worked hard and aimed to please. Fabulous Korean Fried Chicken and now there's boba! All the sauces we have tried so far are delicious - and they don't skimp on the sauce! Everything is packaged wonderfully to-go. Must Try: 1) Korean Fried Chicken if you love bone-in wings. I love that you can do half/half and choose 2 different sauces. Soy Garlic and Supreme is a great one to start with. Sweet/Mild is great for kids. 2) Soy Garlic Dumplings which are fried and glazed. My girls love these! 3) Boba Tea - I'm obsessed with boba/bubble tea and glad we have some on this side of town! I love a classic milk tea with the boba (tapioca pearls). The boba was well cooked (but not mushy) and the perfect consistency the way I like it! Boba is not for everyone (my girls don't like the black pearls, but they like other kinds). The fried rice is also great for kids. Pajeon (Seafood Pancake) - More of a green onion pancake with a little seafood medley of squid/clam/mini shrimp. Unless you came across those pieces, you wouldn't be able to tell it's seafood - which some may prefer. My husband doesn't like seafood flavors and didn't really taste it. We're here about once a week. Everything is good, servers are knowledgeable and friendly. The Dolsot Bibimbap is a favorite- get it with beef, chicken, or spicy chicken. The garlic dumplings are amazing - we never have any left over! They keep it clean and since there aren't physical menus (each table has a QR code link to the menu) they're able to reduce touch-points a lot. Subtle textures and flavors playing off each other. Not a Ying and Yang, but a Ying and Ying that play perfectly together. Then together become the Ying to the chicken's Yang. The service was excellent. The food took some time, but I am fine with that. My food did not sit in a warmer under a heat lamp. It arrived hot from the chef. I'm not sure why I waited to so long to try Noori Chicken, but now I've seen the error in my ways and will visit again soon. My boyfriend and I got a bunch of items to share with friends. I ordered Noori naked wings with medium sauce, pajeon (seafood pancake), chicken strips, Korean fried wings, and japchae with chicken. I got the Korean fried chicken wings with half supreme and half soy garlic since they indicated that was the "most popular" option on their ordering site. They also have Sweet & Mild and Hot & Spicy sauces. I think I got the sweet & mild on the chicken strips. I used their website to order online for pickup at a later time, and everything was ready at the requested time. The order was packed very nicely, with everything separated and in cardboard boxes. Only one item was in a plastic takeout container which was great. The Korean fried wings were separated by the two different sauces. I absolutely loved all the food! I tried a bit of everything. The Noori naked wings were big with crisp skin. The sauce was a little thin but had a great buffalo flavor. The chicken strips were very saucy but still crispy under the sauce. The Korean fried wings were so tasty! I loved both sauces. The soy garlic is sweeter and the supreme was a bit spicy. I'd say it was a mild to medium heat level that I really enjoyed. Not too spicy that it was unbearable but a noticeable amount. The pajeon was mostly green onions and not a ton of seafood but the flavor was spot on and the dipping sauce really made the dish. Finally, the japchae was amazing. The noodles were perfectly cooked and super flavorful, with lots of fresh, crisp-tender veggies and juicy chicken. I'd get this every time! Japchae is a traditional Korean dish made with sweet potato starch noodles, spinach, bell pepper, onion, mushroom, and and sweet and savory sauce. Beautiful place with nice clean interior and friendly service. The hostess asked us if it's our first time with the bulgogi plate and cautioned us about the sauce's spicyness, and boy was it hot! But tbh both the bibimbap and bulgogi plate with chicken were very very tasty if you can take the spicyness! Otherwise you can ask them beforehand to us less red chili in the dish. And make sure to order a sweet dessert! The interior is clean and tables are well seperated. They have a giant screen which plays scenes of street food in Seoul which adds to the ambiance very nicely! It was Friday closing time and we were probably the last guests that day, so the chef himself came out to ask us how was the food! We were amazed at the quantity, quality, and value. Everything was taken up some notches from other wing establishments. The uniqueness of the sauces, the radish and coleslaw, would have been enough to win me over. But then came the portions and the preparation of the chicken. Crispy, juicy, a bit of spice and other flavors drove the wings to a solid 5. I'd give them a 10 if I could! And the homemade dumplings (looks like a potsticker) but is far from it), is homemade with incredible ingredients one could see once bitten. Added to that slight crunch from being flash fried (I think in butter). And the Bibimap was amazing! My wife chose the non-protein version but still sported an egg topper. There are a few different flavors for the chicken but my absolute favorite is the garlic one. There's also an appetizer of dumplings that has the same flavoring! It's incredible. I liked them more than the Bon Chon chicken at this location prior. There were 8 pieces of vegetable dumplings glazed with soy garlic, which were also crispy and large. I really was craving some fried chicken so decided to check this place out on a sleepy weekday mid afternoon. We ordered 2 servings of 8 wings - garlic soy and supreme (medium hot ) a bibimbap bowl and I was pleasantly surprised to find they have bubble tea! I got honeydew - yum. You can choose what types of chicken pieces you get and it comes with radish and coleslaw which are both in healthy servings so you really would be okay without ordering sides if you didn't want to. I have eaten a lot of Korean American food in my life because I used to live in Korea town in Los Angeles so I came to love it. This was definitely what I was expecting so I was happy with it. The supreme chicken had a LOT of sauce. The garlic chicken is my favorite usually and didn't disappoint. I thought the bibimbap bowl was well done - I would order that again for sure 5/5. Things that could have been better: 1) The chicken in the strips was pretty dry. This is why I am giving a 4 star review. Noori is the new Korean fried chicken place which recently replaced Bonchon. We got takeout directly from the website, which gave us much more reasonable prices than the Grubhub menu prices. I asked for takeout at 6:45 but I didn't get there until 7. The Noori staff was friendly and all ready with my order when I walked in. We got the 16 pc fried chicken wings, half soy garlic and half supreme. The chicken came with some pickled radishes and some coleslaw, both good palate cleansers. The radishes had a nice crunch and the coleslaw was pretty mild but paired well with the chicken. We also ordered a side of fries. The French fries were well seasoned with a sort of Cajun seasoning on them, but they were quite short fries in my opinion. They were also soft rather than crunchy, but that may be due to me picking up and eating the food late. The chicken was very generously covered in sauce, and quite large as well. Of the two types of chicken we ordered, I definitely prefer the soy garlic. The supreme wings were sweet with a touch of spice, definitely there but not overpowering. Overall, the two wing sauces tasted pretty similar, but soy garlic was a bit more savory and garnished nicely with green onions. My relatively large order was also very well packaged. The boxes for 12 pc wings were very cute and colorful and everything was stacked neatly in two large paper bags. They also included separate bags for the coleslaw and pickled radishes, with chopsticks and napkins. Overall, Noori seems like a very organized and reasonably priced Korean fried chicken joint. I can't wait to come back when dine-in opens back up do I can experience their larger menu selection and the interior ambience!
