Jeez...oh how I love Norah! I've actually never dined in, only takeout. Always consistently fantastic, so much flavor, and travels well. Norah will always be a go-to for me!

Flavor packed mains, irresistible rangoons, delish cocktails with NA options, and a sweet and salty dessert made this meal everything I could ask for. I love the fusion of different menu options, from See Ew to Bibimbap and Mapo Tofu. It's more than Thai food, and it's made well. There is truly something for everyone with good taste. Service was quick even with a fairly busy crowd and the ambiance is nice.

**vegetarian review** I love that Portland is a vegetarian haven because of places like this. Such a fun menu, and such delicious food. Good portion sizes and very friendly host. I loved the eggplant dish- it used so many proteins like tofu, tempeh, soya curls. The waffle fries were amazing. The beans were a little salty but still good. Similarly papaya salad was on the sweeter side for me but still fresh and yum. I wanna go back and try more things!!

Pad Thai nachos & Bimbimbap both outstanding! Drool worthy! Not sure why we've never been here before now? Definitely will be back!!! Service was excellent, atmosphere cozy, clean and bright. They use a QR ordering system - easy. It's Belmont we walked, parking could be tricky.

Over crowded, no space between tables, staff cleared a dirty table near me without even acknowledging my presence. Left without eating

The food felt really fresh. I loved the flavor combinations. The ambience is very Thai garden feeling. Tons of plants in here and it made us feel comfortable. The space is rather small, but it's great for a one on one situation. The service was really friendly. They do have free Wi-Fi.

Cute little restaurant in a sweet neighborhood with a family-owned vibe! And you'd never know everything is vegan unless you asked/read first. My vegan friend brought me here for lunch and we shared 5 dishes: coconut mushroom fettuccine, Larb croquettes, Jiaozi fried dumplings, pad, Thai nachos, and a side of Chinese broccoli. I also ordered a passionfruit margarita and the dessert, Longan rice pudding. Every single item was outstanding!

The flavors here packed a punch! Portland of course has many vegan options but this is definitely one of the best places you could try out. My group of 3 arrived during lunch hour on a Saturday and we were able to pick our table since it wasn't too crowded (surprisingly!). The inside was pretty cozy. You can order and pay up front through a QR code on the table. Service was fast and friendly. Starting off with the Pad Thai nachos and Masala waffle fries, I couldn't get enough of the flavor explosion. The fries were perfectly crispy and completely coated with various spices. For the main dishes we shared the cauliflower curry and coconut mushroom fettuccini. These are family sized dishes so be sure to come with a group or ready to have leftovers for days! The cauliflower curry was my favorite - it had a decent spicy kick and the sauce was amazing. They did not skimp on the mushroom for the pasta dish which I was so happy about :)

Norah on Belmont is quaint and reminds you of being in a friend's kitchen or your favorite grandma's house. Simple ordering process at the bar and order brought to your table. Everything was delicious. The Rainy Rangoon were perfectly crisp wish the order had more. The curry cauliflower is more than enough for one person. The mushroom in the fettuccine had a smoky flavor so, so good.

Wow. What an experience. The colors. The textures. The flavors. So on point. If all vegetarian food was like this, then nobody would eat meat again! And the drinks were also well balanced and fun! We also really loved the efficiency. Although ordering and paying on your phone may seem impersonal, it really streamlined things and allows the staff to get the food and drinks out fast. We will definitely be back and then some.

There are quite a few vegan places in Portland, and Norah is certainly a staple. The pad see ew is a comfort food for me, and it was so yummy. I often don't order sticky rice because places don't make it vegan, but I knew this would be-- dessert was by far, the highlight. I would come back for solely the mango sticky rice, to be honest. Service was good-- I am sad to see places like this turn to online ordering as I like the human connection through ordering with a person... that's my only grievance, if you'd even consider it a "grievance."

I came here over the summer and realized I never wrote a review for this great vegan Asian spot! After passing by it dozens of times and seeing how packed it was, I really wanted to try it. The inside of the restaurant is cozy and can be a bit tight for big groups, so keep that in mind. Reservations are highly recommended. When you come in, you're seated at a table and you order the menu (and pay) through your phone. I got their Thai iced tea but a couple of my friends got some alcoholic/virgin drinks and everything was delicious. We ordered a couple appetizers to share such as the curry waffle fries and the samosas, and both were delicious. I would definitely order them both again. For entrees, we got the pad see ew, cabbage, and cauliflower curry to share. Everything was super flavorful and so delicious. As a group of people who weren't even vegan, we were very impressed. Definitely one of my favorite vegan spots in Portland.

And they were pretty good, but clearly lacking the flavor fully marinated meat flavors that tacos are famous for. BUT -! Tonight my dreams came true when I ordered -- and promptly devoured -- the vegan carne asada taco. Never have my taste buds danced with such ecstatic bliss as when savoring this bliss of spicy sabrosa-ness! Next I sampled the 3 Hermanos Empanada-- the interior was and cashew crema was delicious...and here is my only critique: the masa-based "pastry" (that enfolds the interior) was too heavy and dense. Now, truth be told my standards are epically high for empanadas, as I come from THE OTHER PORTLAND (Maine) and, as odd as this sounds for such a white-bread state, the best empanadas I've ever eaten (and there is a long list of empanada places I have eaten in NYC and SF) is in Portland Maine (it's called Quiero, and for good reason). So if I could conjure the greatest empanada ever made, it would involve the pastry shell from Quiero in Portland Maine with the interior 3 Hermanos filling from Mis Tacones in PDX. Mic drop, I'm out! Ps. Incredibly colorful, arty and fun interior. Pps. Cute queer staff who steered me right and are definitely flirt-worthy.

I'm definitely neither a vegetarian nor someone who appreciates vegetarian/vegan places that rely only on firm plain tofu or some other reformed soy products carby patty things as their protein source. So when I go to a vegetarian or vegan restaurant, I tend to order dishes where I can still see and recognize the actual ingredients. I was very happy with my calamari (oyster mushroom rings). The crust was crunchy and savory, it almost felt like eating flavored chips or other crunchy snacks like the Korean brand onion ring snacks. Inside the mushrooms were well cooked, they were hot and juicy. As a lover of savory crunchy snacks and mushrooms, this dish had me at the first bite, and I didn't even need the dipping sauce (but the sauce was good though). I finished the whole plate! My partner is a vegetarian, and he loved his bowl. I had one bite of it. The chicken popcorn looked quite real, but I still prefer real chicken popcorn. The gravy potato was a bit plain and light for my liking, but then again, I'm not someone who seasons food with only salt and pepper and put mayo and ketchup on everything, so you can be your own judge there. The ginger lime soda was super refreshing, zesty and icy, and it was perfectly sweetened to my taste. Staff were friendly and nice, indoor was warm and bright. Definitely a place worth to come back for the mushrooms and drink!

Somewhat like a samosa filling but still quite unique. Wasn't spicy but was very flavorful. Combination plate with Seeni Sambal (caramelised onion tamarind chutney), Polos (jackfruit curry), Deviled pineapple (daily special; the best of the lot!), Radish salad, Mustard Greens salad, and chickpea curry. Served with rice and papadum. The seeni sambal was the only mediocre thing on the platter. Loved the deviled pineapple where pineapple was stewed in a spicy sauce. The pineapple pieces had absorbed the sauce really well and were very juicy with a nice bite to them. The polos is also a must try - raw jackfruit really absorbs spices well and the fleshy and stringy / fibrous texture made it extra delicious. The mustard green and radish salad were also very moist and lightly seasoned, while the chickpea curry was only mildly spiced but balanced the rest of the dishes well. Mango ice tea (4/5) - we got it unsweetened so the mango flavor did not really come through all that well. Very friendly staff/owners. Parking can be a little had to find - we parked at a spot about a 5 min walk away. Gender neutral restroom located past the kitchen so they ask you to wear a mask while walking to the restroom. Outdoor and patio seating with very beautiful decor. Love the ambience and the whole vibe.
