Came several times. Today im here with friends in prayer. The nuns are beautiful. So graceful and kind. The gift shop.is amazing and you can see the love made into so many items. I got a snack bag with a variety of cheese. Sable crackers, and a grap jelly. Sorry I don't have better pictures of cheese I ate it all.... Wowza! Everything I got was amazing. The beautiful ladies by far are a highlight of this place, but the snacks and things you can buy are wonderful too. I was able to listen to the women pray today and it was beautiful. Respect this place. Respect this land and pop on up for a visit. read more

Love coming here to attend their daily mass in Latin. Also love shopping at their gift shop. Their homemade goods help the monastery. Always fresh and good. We love their cheese. Luckily, they have only ran out once when we came to visit and shop. You can order ahead if you want to make sure they have them when you come. I have seen this place and visited this place many times. The view never gets old. All worth the drive from Bakersfield for me to come up here. read more

Wonderful little Monastery close to Tehachapi. Founded in 1997, this small Roman Catholic community of Norbertine Nuns runs a lovely monastery. We visited their chapel and gift shop. Unfortunately, we did not get to attend the daily Mass. They sell many religious items. We purchased a bag of the Biscotti which they make at their monastery kitchen. That is the BEST biscotti that I have ever eaten!! If you are looking for some peace and solitude, then consider visiting Norbertine Monastery. I believe you can even spend the weekend here as well. They do have a website so you can learn more of what they have to offer. read more

If you're In or passing thru Tehachapi, you must visit this place. Very serene place, has a small chapel and gift shop. You must buy their homemade cheese, jelly and crackers. The sisters are super nice as well. God bless them and their monastery. read more

We came here for the gift shop. You can buy all manner of religious items, but we came for the cheese and biscotti, which are just some of the items the sisters are known for. They also make lotions and soaps and jam and granola, among other things. The cheese is incredible. We got a snack pack, featuring their current flavors (chipotle, herb, and plain/provolone), and a large wedge of the herb. So good! The biscotti are also very good. There are many opportunities to by locally-made goods up here, and if that's your thing, you need to make a stop here and treat yourself to whatever they're selling. read more

The nuns run a very nice little gift shop featuring products they have made such as delicious biscotti, jams, lip balms, soap and lotion. Nice to be able to stop by and help the sisters earn money to be self sufficient. read more
