Uneducated Staff, disgusting surfaces, every surface I touched felt disgusting, a video visitation service, gettingout/globaltel, set up to take your money without permission, jail staff unable to help and by their own admission untrained on the device. This place is embarrasing to me as a tax payer and I don't want to think about how the incarcerated men and women are treated, fed and housed. This place is a blight on our beloved Gorge. I hope it's workers feel shame, embarrasment, and guilt for the unprofessional way this county jail is ran. The men and women incarcerated in this place have not been convicted of any crime. They are awaiting trial. Or being "housed" for cash by ICE. This is America. Their families deserve respect in their time of crisis, they do not need to be openly robbed by a broken visitation system, globaltel, talked to in a smug way the way I was and a better, safer way to visit their loved ones. read more
