The best restaurant for this area. Not bias because my nephew is a chef trainee here :). The restaurant is high-end and known to be one of the most expensive around because the quality of food and services provided. The 2 owners are a chef and service chef educated from Berlin, so they brought the contemporary stay with them here to the north of Germany. From what I know, they were offered to be a star Michelin but they refused because they want to sustain the price. The restaurant has 2 sections, Noditeran is more formal dining where the bistro side is more casual. You can buy tons of homemade goodies. Check it out of you ever gone that way. read more

There are only good things to say about Norditeran! First of all, the ambience is amazing - guests are personally greeted at the door and are guided to their tables. Second, they have a great wine selection and their menu never bores as it is ever-changing, with fusions of local ingredients and international tastes. Finally, the people who make it happen seem to take such care of all the little details so that you feel completely at home, in a decadent way! I love dining here when we're in town!
