What impressed me most was the combination of green open spaces and a central location. It felt like the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. The lawns are well maintained, there are plenty of places to sit, and the atmosphere is peaceful despite being close to major attractions. I especially appreciated watching people enjoy the outdoors while taking in the beautiful scenery. A wonderful urban park that deserves a visit.

Great spot to hike and get one of the most beautiful view of Oslo fjord. It's closer to the city…read morethan going all the way up to Forgnerseteren. To get there the easiest is to go to Storo and take the bus 56 direction "Solemskogen" and get off at "Akebakken" which is 7minutes away. The hikde from the bus stop to the top take about 30 minutes.

I enjoyed taking a slow walk through the grounds and admiring the elegant landscape design. Even though it is located in the heart of the city, the atmosphere feels calm and refreshing. The views of the palace from different angles are excellent, and the entire area is perfect for both sightseeing and relaxation. A wonderful place that combines nature, history, and royal elegance.
