Was SO excited to get a Nordstrom Rack in our area. Have been in many times, just hoping the merchandise would improve. The women's shoe department is probably the best thing there. The store is new and clean and bright. You go upstairs from the front door. Lots of stock, and they put both shoes on the floor (instead of making you go to the counter to get the mate). It's a bit cluttered with the layout - it seems oddly shaped - but they have lots of express pay stations if you are only picking up a couple of items. I found the staff friendly and helpful and the restroom was clean and filled. I'll be back. read more

One star for hours of operation. As I've been a big supporter of The Rack for over 20 years, I was excited to attend today's grand opening. Unfortunately my excitement turned to disappointment when I arrived to a closed store at 9:03pm. When I posed the question about the store closing at 9pm, and all the other locations open until 9:30, except Westlake Center to the security employee at the door, he said all stores are different. Nordstrom knows that Amazon is starting to tear them apart. If they want to survive, they need to cater to the mainstream retail customer. I write this as I enjoy a nice $10 meal at Chick-fil-A that's closed on Sundays. Amen read more

Store is clean and nicely finished, but disappointed that it's so small. Looks like a 2 story store from the outside, but once you enter, you go up the escalator to a small store on the 2nd floor. Wish they had made a 2 story store, or at least a larger 1 story store. read more

I needed to return shoes, but I didn't bring a receipt with me. I stopped anyway knowing that I have debit card that I've made purchase with, and I also have Norstrom account. To start, both employees, cashier and her ménager were very unpleasant to work with and very judgemental. Cashier checked recant purchases under my card number, and said that she cannot find the item at all. At that point menager was invited. I asked them if they could maybe find it under our Nordstrom account number. Long time ago when we made an online purchase, we opened Nordstrom account under my husband's name and phone number. So I gave them number and some unknown latin female name came up. I told them that that's a wrong name, and they looked at me suspiciously and with an attitude. So I showed them my husband's number on my phone, and calmly explained that this is his phone number and I know that I purchased shoes there. They called Nordstrom customer services and they also confirmed that that number/ account is under my husband's name. That's when the final shock came. The employee said to me- "She is maybe also using your husband's account?" It was implied that my husband is cheating on me?!! I was shocked, and was getting ready to leave. Than they made a return, issued me a gift card for that amount, never apologized for unprofessional and rude behavior. I said there and with this review again that my foot will never step in to that store again. My whole day was ruined, and this is the first time that I'm giving someone a bad review. Nordstrom Rack is one of my favorite places, I love a deal. I decided to venture out to the grand opening since I had the time. I've never attended an event so I showed up a bit earlier than their invitation said. The invitation said 8am however it was actually 9am door opening with raffle for an hour. They did the raffle and for whatever reason they were incapable of mixing the tickets so only people that arrived much after 8am won. The people in line behind me complained to the manager and I agreed with them. The manager clapped in my face to every syllable as she was responding, saying "owell this isn't a hospital, we aren't curing cancer, we are selling nice clothes. Just enjoy being here and the free coffee". 1st off, you can talk with your hands all you want but don't clap in people's faces, that's unbelievably rude. And obviously you aren't curing cancer. *eyeroll* The original complainer ended up being the only person near the front to win so congrats to them!!!! When I made it into the store I had two goals in mind. I wanted to look at the bras before they were all out of order. Unfortunately they already were which was a real bummer. And I needed a nice dress. I found some great options. When I went to the dressing room they had a woman yelling I'll find you a different size over and over. I decided to take her up on the offer. She took the original dress and came back not 2 minutes later and said sorry we don't have it. When I went back out there was more than 5 in the larger size. Don't ask if you aren't actually going to look! Overall this was a pretty dissatisfied trip for me. Send your manager to etiquette school please! She's abrasive, tacky, and overall unpleasant. 2 stars because I found some great items at great prices and the ladies checking me out at the kiosk near designer row were smiling, friendly, and efficient!! read more

I am really happy that there's a Nordstrom Rack in Totem Lake. The parking is usually easy and there's spots available. The store is easy to find and clean. However, the selection is not good. I always come here and try to find cute stuff, but leave empty handed which I can't say for when I go to the Factoria Rack. They have what looks like a lot of stuff, but most of it is old and out of style. read more

This review is actually for the Nordstrom Rack ONLINE site, but I couldn't find the web as a location. I am writing this as a buyer beware. I went online to find some affordable nice shoes. I found them! As I was browsing I found three other pairs that I thought were nice also, and even though they weren't as deeply discounted, I put them in the shopping cart. One day later, the discounted shoes were removed from my order and I was reimbursed. No explanation. The expensive shoes were shipped right on time. I went to their website and did the online chat to see what happened. Some person with a poor sense of humor said he would feel the same if he were in my shoes! Ugh.. Anyway, he goes on to say that the inventory was such that they just didn't have the two inexpensive pairs of shoes when they went to pick the order. Fair enough, I thought. I went online to check. BOTH pairs were still available in size 13 on their website! So my Yelp is for buyers to beware of Nordstrom Rack Bait and Switch tactics to get you browsing and buying their more expensive shoes. Or, it could be, their Supply Chain, Web Business and Customer Support organizations are just less than optimal and inept. Whatever the reason, I am no longer a customer. read more

I had to wait 20 mins to get a gift card at an express checkout station. I was the second person in line and apparently the guy infront of me had problems with his credit card. The cashier, Arabic speaking fella, literally walked away with the customer without telling me anything or requesting someone else to come help me out. read more

First yelp review. I purchased Paige jeans from Nordstrom Rack 2 months ago and only wore them twice. After wearing them twice they got really baggy though so I wanted so exchange them out for one size smaller. I took the jeans back today, 10/26/18 around 5pm and grabbed a smaller size. I had already thrown the tags away but I did have my email receipt and the card I purchased them on. The lady ran my card and insisted I didn't purchase them there even though I showed her my transaction from my bank account. She then called a manager over to assist. He approached me already with a frustrated attitude. I showed him my bank transaction and would have shown him my email receipt but they were making a big deal about the tags being off and said the tags were the most important and they didn't care about anything else. He then said their return policy is 42 days so they don't have to return them. I was shocked at his attitude when I had literally only said a few words to him and was not being rude to either him or the lady. I told him I wasn't looking to return and get any money back, I just wanted to exchange for a smaller size. He then grabbed the jeans and confirmed I grabbed a size smaller to make sure I wasn't lying. He then said, "you know, the return policy is on the back of the receipt and there are many signs all around the store telling you about our return policy." He then said, "I just want you to know I don't have to do this for you because we clearly give you the return policy information but I'm going to do it as a one time favor just know this will never happen again". I didn't even say anything back because I was so taken back by his attitude when I wasn't even arguing with him. I shop at Nordstrom all the time and have never been treated so disrespectfully. I also couldn't even say anything because he just walked away immediately after saying it without giving me the opportunity to say something. The lady then did the exchange for me and just handed me the jeans with no bag and basically acted like she just wanted me out. I could totally understand their attitude if I was being rude to them or gave attitude myself but I had literally only said about 1 or two sentence throughout this whole processes. I could also understand if it was months past the 42 day time frame but I was only 18 days over and just asking for an exchange. Overall just disappointed in how I was treated. read more
