I will say this particular Nordstrom Rack location doesn't set my soul on fire. Initially when the store opened, it featured a great layout and some spectacular merchandise. I do think one can still score some great deals here but the layout has changed and not for the better. It doesn't have the same vibe it once did. Obviously, it's a step down from Nordstrom but the same level of charm and customer service was offered long ago and I don't see this nowadays. Granted, the majority of cashiers who've assisted me are lovely but it's simply not the same level of customer service as in the past. I'm also not a fan of the hoardersville impulse items near the registers - giving off the Marshalls & TJ Maxx vibes but not the same prices. Love those stores, not hating but it isn't what old school Nordstrom Rack aesthetic offered. If we are junking it down, go ahead and decrease the prices too. On brighter notes, one will save 5% off their purchase if they're a Nordstrom cardholder and online purchases can easily be returned both at the Rack and Nordstrom at the mall. read more

One of the things I like about the Nordstrom stores whether it be Nordstrom rack or there Nordstrom is their commitment to customer service. I ordered some shirts online at Nordstrom Rack and the color didn't seem to match the pictures on their website. I went to the store here in West Palm Beach, the Nordstrom rack store and without a hitch, they accepted the shirts to be returned no if, ands or butts. Also, with the quality of the merchandise at Nordstrom's and Nordstrom rack it is hard to go wrong. I may not have been impressed with the colors when I got the shirts, but the quality certainly is very good. when you shop online, be very careful on return merchandise. I purchased two shirts; one was returned. Nordstrom confirmed the return and now it is almost two weeks and I've yet to see a refund that they promised. My advice: don't shop Nordstrom on line; their return service is not favor. Your credit card will be charged immediately upon the sale, but try to get a refund...they're playing the float. read more

This location of Nordstrom Rack is in the shopping center across from Palm Beach Outlets. Originally I bought three pairs of heels from online, and needed to return one of the pairs. Returns can be done in the store locations, so it's pretty convenient. The customer service was a bit slow on the registers as well as not that nice. It seemed like the employee was annoyed with my return even though I had my online invoice, box etc. After the return, I went back to shopping. I was able to find a cute sweater looking coat after my return. I ended up going back in line to get my purchase for a upcoming vacation. Inventory- This is one of the newer Nordstrom racks and they keep the store well maintained with the amount of things they have. Out of all the retail clothing stores I know in the West Palm area, the one I will go to in-person is Nordstrom Rack, specifically the one in Palm Beach Outlets. Given my tastes for Bugatchi and Daniel Graham shirts as well as Lucky and Seven for All Man Kind jeans, Nordstrom Rack offers great deals on all of these brands for a fraction of what the MSRP is normally. From the first time I went to the Palm Beach Outlets' location, I have always found some great selections of Bugatchi shirts. The store is well arranged, with all the apparel neatly folded and hung. I rarely walk into the store where I encounter a messy table or rack like some other retail chains can be. It's always easy to walk into the store, know where you're going, see what you like, purchase from the friendly store clerks, and be on your way. read more

I went to return a few items a few days after i bought them, and the cashier was telling me I couldn't return them, and i still don't know why she refused to do so, even though I could and the Nordstrom Rack app processed my return order easily. So, I've never been targeted like this by store staff before, at least not at this store...and from years of experience Nordstrom rack never counts how many garments you take into a fitting room, but one day out of the blue a lady ONLY asked me "how many" which was very abnormal for this store. I don't appreciate being targeted as a thief when I just want to try something on, and choose to shop here as I also really don't like interacting with sales people as I feel too pressured at stores like the regular Nordstrom when I want to try something on, if I don't like the garment, their sales people make me feel like I have to buy it anyway. They literally try to talk you into something you do not want. It's a horrifying experience for me. I have some mental health issues when it comes to interacting with people so shopping can be hard for me. when you add to that the reason I even came to the store that day was because a previous sale a week earlier was rang up incorrectly charging me the full price and not the price on the clearance tag/ well I'm not sure this store even wants my business. I just want to shop alone, not be bothered or harassed, and not have speak to ANYONE... now it's to stressful to go here, as I don't want to be accosted by a worker again. My rating for this place keeps dropping the more I write. I'm downvoting this place because of its customer service. Our experience with Nordstrom Rack stores is that there are often sales that aren't well advertised. We asked an employee in the shoe section if there were any deals. She told us that there was an additional 25% on red tag items. NR has two type of red tag items, so we clarified which the sale applied to. She said both. Great! So my wife finds a nice haul (While I patiently waited. Seriously. Have you seen their shoe selection?), only to be told at the register that there is no sale going on currently. The manager in shoes offered to have the employee come up front and talk to us. I asked if that would change anything for us, and she said no, so I declined. What's the point of publicly shaming your employee if it changes nothing for the customer? We were also told that they would do a price adjustment if there is a sale within 7 business days, but the next such sale won't be until 6/25, which was 2 weeks later. We learned that was also wrong, because we recently went to another NR that had been having a sale since 6/16, 4 days after our visit to this store. And we were told that all NR stores have the same sales at the same time! The people at this store have no clue what they're doing. read more

I've had a generally great experience at this store time and time again. I've been able to buy accessories like belts and shoes, as well as lots of pants (dress and casual), sport coats and golf shirts. They frequently have new inventory, at least seasonally, and lots of brands/designer names I like (Joe's, Vavartos, Robert Graham, and etc). Of course, the checkout lines are sometimes long and the cashiers are only moderately friendly. Some are better than others. Also, don't expect much help in the store itself or at the dressing rooms. However, if your up for a self-guided type shopping experience, you can find some great buys if you're willing to stop in regularly. read more

Absolutely the worst Rack location I've ever shopped at. I work nation wide and shop at locations all over the country. I have been to this location several times and it's always the same. Shop is good selection is as good as expected at any of their locations. The check out experience has is where the problem is time and time again. Good help is hard to find and the selection of staff at the check out is probably all they could find. Each time and I can say three times for sure the staff member attending to me is interrupted by a phone call, Another staff member, or generally just walks away to do something other than attend to the customer. I complained on my last visit some time ago. I would expect better customer service from the Nordstrom family of stores. read more

I love Nordstrom Rack for their discounted merchandise, but I have left the store numerous times putting items back on the rack due to long lines at the checkout. It seems they never have enough salespeople. It was like this BEFORE the pandemic, so they can't blame it on a lack of people applying for jobs, it's just it was a little less frustrating before Covid. Are they not offering great benefits that entice people to want to work for Nordstrom? What is the deal? Why do they only have 2 salespeople on the weekends? That's crazy!!! I am a Nordies girl and love a bargain so Rack is a favorite. This location has petite racks so my shopping is so much easier. I won't look at "any" store that mixes them with all of the women's sizes. It's too much work. I walked in yesterday with nothing in mind and left with a couple of costume jewelry items and 2 pair of boots. Come on, this is South Florida, how many pair of boots do I need? I walk into the bathroom with my stroller and my toddler I realize that somebody is in the bigger stall (handicap) so I figured oh I will just change my daughters diaper before I use the bathroom. This person is on the toilet just on their phone, I know they hear my baby crying from getting her diaper changed, and I know they heard me tell a person I'm waiting for the bigger restroom as someone walked in behind me and was waiting. After I finish changing my daughters diaper, this person is still "using the toilet" then another person walks in and asked me if I'm waiting and I once again repeat that I am waiting for the bigger stall so I can fit my stroller in there too. About seven minutes later the person is finally flushing the toilet, they get out and it's an employee. You have two other stalls you can used to watch TickTock and hide on your shifts. You do not need to use the bigger stall that us mothers and potentially handicapped people need to use read more

Purchased a shirt, got home that night and realized it had a small hole in it. Returned to the store the next day and asked the manager if he would refund me a portion of the money I paid. He wouldn't agree, told me it was store policy that he couldn't reduce the price. I wasted my time and gas money because they had a defective product on the rack. I don't like shopping at a store where management can't or has no desire to make a customer happy or whole. The clothes are all extremely poorly designed and have serious issues with construction. I was willing to buy a dress on clearance but it had a rip completely down the entire back of the dress. I spoke with the manager and offered to buy the dress at a more discounted price and he refused my offer, telling me it is their policy. I understand that this is an outlet store, but even Plato's Closet doesn't sell ripped clothing. Unprofessional and not worth the "discounted" prices to have torn clothing. read more

Customers should be greeted or at least acknowledged when they come up to purchase items from your store with their hard-earned money.
