Waiter was very pleasant and professional. Food just wasn't very good. Sushi rice was way over cooked. Fish quality was not very good. The tuna was dyed, with red dye running over the plate. Please avoid this restaurant. Ordered online for 20-25min pick up. Showed up at that time, waited another 45mins and then left. Spoke with the manager about why online ordering wasn't turned off, or why the time wasn't adjusted. He responded "we haven't had time to do that". Aside from the rubber shrimp, the flavors of our dishes were great. The service however, awful to say the least. The Manager was anything but professional. She does not manage her kitchen and as a result 2 of us were done with our food by the time the third got their meal. All three of us were done by the time the 4th got his meal- and it was wrong! She then overcharged us, corrected the bill and still overcharged us! And then tried to say the waiter should have have been managing the kitchen. What?!?! Our neighbor said she did the same thing to them. We won't be back! So many other choices in the area to not have to put up with such poor service, especially from the manager. read more

We always go to nori for the hibachi. Best Hibachi I've had in a long time and very good portions as well. You don't get the show but you get the quality. The restaurant it's nice but very small, they are always busy and understaffed it seems. The waiters are super nice but never check on us for refills or anything. I tried calling to put an order with them to pick it up last time, and the kid on the phone was just laughing because it was so loud in the restaurant that he couldn't hear me at all. I hanged up and got food from Somewhere else. I recommend if you have time and don't mind waiting. But if you're very hungry just go somewhere else. read more

Before the review, a public service announcement: When a restuarant opens, it usually takes a couple months to get everything running smoothly. Please fellow yelpers, don't add low stars for that - we don't want to lose places because of start up glitches! I think this behavior has given Nori a lower rating than it should have. For the locals, Nori is very similar in quality and style to Yummy (my previous favorite 210 sushi). Nori does seem to be a bit more upscale than the others in the area - some super fancy rolls on the menu and saw some ingredients that were new to me (like a curly pink seaweed) I ordered the Chirashi and it came with scallops and a couple fish that seemed fancier than what is usually included. Lunch sushi special was a bento box with Cali roll & 2 half rolls for $11. Overall, a good sushi option for this area. read more

We were excited to try this new Japanese restaurant. Ordered a couple apps and a couple entrees to share and try a variety of sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and thai. Unfortunately we were not impressed, the worst was the "filet" that tasted like they got it fresh from a dumpster and the toro which came from the lake behind the dumpster Our server was very sweet and replaced the "filet" with shrimp (it was ok) and told us next time to get a different roll. I'm hoping that Nori just had an off night. The restaurant was completely empty and staff congregated at cash register chatting. Rice was too soft and sushi was compressed down. Rice was too thick on sushi rolls so that every bite was rice with fish and not fish with rice, like eating nigiri in a roll. We've been here multiple times and was perfect, until tonight. We ordered take out and were sadly very disappointed. We ordered the chicken hibachi and there was maybe half a chicken breast, about 8 small chunks of chicken in the box. The fried rice had no flavor. The surf and turf roll was more cream cheese than anything. The Kanu salad tasted like fishy mayonnaise. So overall, food quality and portion size for the price is poor compared to other restaurants of this type in the area. read more

Our first experience was extremely disappointing. We found the portions small and the sushi less than fresh. Even the rice tasted stale. Sadly, the sushi at Publix is better. Other items suffered the same fate, not fresh, not tasty and poor execution. We had some issues with our online order and it was handled less than well by their staff.
