SOLID 5 STARS! The menu was so full of great looking dishes and so comprehensive I had trouble making up my mind. So I decided to go with the sushi and sashimi sampler ($39). The sampler should be advertised as a meal for two. The amount of food that I received was incredible, two sushi rolls, six sashimi pieces and five sushi pieces, a mound of ginger, a mound of wasabi, a ginger salad, and miso soup. The food came out quickly, the presentation was fantastic, and the flavors were great. Since this is the off-season, I was not surprised that the restaurant wasn't too full, but while I was there, I saw at least two dozen people come in to pick up carry out orders. I could not finish it! I had to take home at least half. Every time I sense a bit more room in my tummy I eat another piece, since I want to finish it all before it goes off.

A great spot to check out while in St Pete Beach or Treasure Island. The sushi was great, and was full of flavor. A big roll for the price as well. The conch nigiri was also fat (would recommend). The shrimp pad Thai was a little light on flavor. There was something missing while eating it, but couldn't quite put a name to the flavor that was missing. The restaurant was very clean inside and the service was quick for the owner and his wife running the business. Overall I would recommend to check this spot out for my fellow tourists in the area.

Stopped in after a beach day with no expectations since none of us had heard of the place and we were completely blown away. From the attentive service to the incredible food, everything exceeded expectations. My friend ordered the chicken Pad Thai, and we all agreed it was some of the best we've ever had and worth coming back for on its own. The sushi rolls were generously portioned and absolutely worth the price. The interior was cozy, clean, and inviting. Overall, a fantastic experience, and we're already looking forward to our next visit.

Came here on a Sunday night around 9ish and it was decently busy but we were able to get seated quickly. There was only one server, however she did a great job considering it was busy and only her. I ordered the pad see-ew with beef and my food was delicious, definitely one of the best Thai places I've tried and the portion sizes are large. The restaurant was clean and had a good amount of seating as well!

I specifically asked for mild, but the food came out super spicy. I can handle the heat, but my wife couldn't eat it at all. On top of the spice mix-up, the food was just flavorless. Both the Panang and Red curries were bland, and the Pad Thai was mediocre at best. Really disappointed.

Stopped by here after a day at the beach and it was definitely worth it. Sometimes when ordering a thai tea it's hit or miss but this one was def a hit and was especially good after a day out. I ordered the hosomaki combo and dumplings and it was delicious. The service was quick and friendly even though it was just two people. The building and playlist set up a good vibe as well!

Bruh... this ain't it Ordered the "Boat for 4" for $110 on July 17, 2025 -- paid $156.24 total (Order ID: FJW0R0W8ES5N8). The photo on their site shows like 10+ fresh rolls and sushi, real nice setup. What I got? 5 or 6 dry, nasty rolls and some cabbage with spicy oil they called a salad. Nothing like the pic. Hit them up -- they said "the photo is old" and didn't care. No refund, no apology. That's wild. Feels like a scam. Don't order delivery from this place unless you like surprises.

This is my Mom's favorite place to get sushi in the area. Everytime I visit her, we come to this spot. Don't let the facade fool you, the food here is delicious. Although I haven't ordered a lot of their Thai here, her and her friends say it's very tasty. I love the fresh and tasty quality of their fish here. They make yummy miso soup and refreshing ginger salad. I love how buttery and rich their escolar is here. My only comment is that their lunch specials don't feel as big of a deal as other sushi spots, but you're paying for the quality so it's fine. I really like their Lady's Finger lunch combo. It came with a rainbow roll and three nigiri (tuna, salmon, white fish). My mom got their tempura. She isn't usually one for fried foods, but enjoyed their tempura a lot. They also have a good seaweed salad. It's a great spot for lunch or dinner.

Wow! Nori Thai has an unassuming interior, but it makes up for it with awesome service, good prices, and even greater food. To start off with, our server was excellent. Kind, attentive, and charismatic, he led us through the Nori Thai experience gracefully and without a hitch. I saw that a lot of the Yelp community was raving about the Pad Thai, and since I normally order Pad Thai at Thai restaurants anyway (I know-- basic!) I figured I would give it a try. Well rest assured, it was phenomenal. The calamari was excellent as well. The only slight downside of Nuri Thai was the fried rice. A lot of reviewers mentioned it was lackluster, but my dad braved public opinion and tried the it anyway. He enjoyed it, but said it was pretty average compared to most places. Otherwise, though, everything was excellent. Would definitely go again next time I'm in St. Pete.

One can have suchi. One can have pad thai. It is really up to you. But sometimes you just want a pure Japanese establishment that offers up food you would find in Japan. That is Yaki-Mono. It is not a big establishment. In fact, in Japan this would be the normal size. It is small and intimate. People need to wait outside to get in for a seat. Such it was when we went here. Priority was the food itself. So getting there a bit early we got a table. Within 30 minutes they were lined outside the door. Sitting down with our menu we could look and see what is available. Being true to Japan it was a mix of styles and meals one might find. From salads and miso soup to sushi, sashimi, and even a bento box. You could have what was posted or make it up as you went along. Very typical. First to order was a Sapporo beer. Traditional in Japan it is still shipped from there. It is not made in the US. The bottle is large and is normally split between two over the course of a meal. This came first and then the order was placed. We started with fried tofu. This is a softly panko topped slice of tofu and that is sightly fried and placed in a dish with soy sauce and spices. it is light and airy. This was also topped with toasted onion flakes. It was a truly Japanese style that is hard to get at times. Ideal. This was then followed with a salad poke bowl filled with fish and vegetables and even an avocado slice or two. It had the dressing that is normal in Japanese cooking which is a good compliment to the salad itself which was fresh and refreshing to have. We then had a bento box. The mix always changes but tonight it consisted of sashimi slices of tuna, salmon, octopus, are a few others. There was a box of rolls and a box of gyoza on yakisoba noodles which were hand fired quickly in their herb sauce. There was even a box of chopped up steak with vegetables cooked fresh and enjoyable. These were good sized meals that could be shared and sampled. It was up to you on this, The price was fair based on the portion you received. It was all fresh. Especially the fish which is served as expected. One things was that the fish was thicker than expected. Normally a sushi chef cuts the fish thin. This was thicker and a bit lumpy in portion. Not what you expect, especially if you have lived in Japan for over 4 years and knew how to eat a good Japanese meal even from a shop on the corner with only 3 seats (and I use to do that). Yaki-mono is a good place to go. The team is nice. The food is fresh. The price is the price to expect today. One thing was, it did make me wish I was back in Tokyo eating at the fish market. Domo.

It is seriously good and has become one of my favorite things to order here. I usually end up getting several portions of it. They also added amaebi sweet shrimp, though the pieces are a little on the smaller side. Other additions worth mentioning are the crab rangoon, which I definitely recommend, along with torched salmon and a coconut shrimp specialty roll. Overall, I am really enjoying the newer fish cuts and expanded add on selections. In my opinion, it is a tremendous upgrade from where they were before. Maybe it was the sake too, now that I think about it. Either way, each sake that we tried with the dishes were just so good. I also can't remember each dish's name or what it was. I just remember the taste of each, which was scrumptious. This place is now added to our date night rotation. Can't wait to go next time to see what the chef prepares, as the menu changes seasonally.

We were visiting town and came across this place on the Michelin recommended list, so I took my…read moreshot and gave them a call. The voicemail asked to text them for same day reservations and Arte texted me back very quickly. He was super nice and asked if we had food allergies and managed to squeeze us in last minute. This whole restaurant is a omakase experience and form what I saw it's their traditional or nigiri omakase experience. This means the sushi chef prepares a variety of his choice of food directly in front of you. We were one of their earliest time slots right at opening which worked well because we had the place to ourself! All the seating is around the sushi bar, it is a small venue but a very traditional vibe of a sushi/omakase experience My wife and I have done a lot of traveling including to Japan and we absolutely love these because you get 1-1 times with an experienced sushi chef, getting explained where every fish came from and every ingredient. One cool thing that sushi sho rexley did is that they told you specifically how to eat each bite to maximize flavors. The chef and the host were friendly and patient with our questions. Arte, the host gave us a run down of the sake and even let us try some in order to decide, we ended up getting a variety of 7oz pours. The fish quality was extremely fresh and some of them were in house aged with different things such as citrus or fungi which gave such a texture explosion. I was with my wife, my 3 month old baby and my mom and we celebrated my birthday this day and Arte brought out a Japanese cake on the house which was very thoughtful. Overall, I am very grateful we were able to experience this restaurant and get my sushi fix in! I would recommend this and even come back if I'm in town again!
