Patient Advocacy and Hospice were contacted and attempted to contact him for medical records to be able to begin hospice treatment. Again, no response. When we went to his office to attempt to get records ourselves we were treated in an extremely rude and disgusting manner. Hospice finally agreed to provide end of life care without Dr. Harden's referral (thank God). I don't know if it is the Doctor or his staff that are responsible for bailing out in my mother in her final days. I do know that this is an inexcusable way to treat a patient and family especially in her dying days.
