When we began planning or wedding, we went to another florist and were blown away by the arrogant…read moreattitude, their expectation that we needed to accept the flowers they were comfortable with, not the ones we wanted...AND on top of all that they were asking an arm and a leg! So in frustration, I reached out to 10+ florists I found on a local search via email. Now your not going to believe this but...Colleen was the ONLY one who responded by email and calling me! 2 or 3 others emailed back, and the rest didn't respond at all! When Colleen spoke with us it was a breath of fresh air! She was very attentive, kind and easy to work with. She truly understands the look you want and the key points that are critical to you, while knowing what she can tweak to make it better or to fit your budget. I had wanted Peonies, and they were extremely important to me. Other florists claimed they weren't available or were tentative to work with them. Colleen was experienced with them and had a local flower farm she worked with to get them. They were absolutely stunning on our wedding day, and I will always think of my wedding with I smell a peony. On another note, she is very honest and willing to work with you if something doesn't go as planned. A few of the peonies that the source provided her ended up being a little more blush than the true white we had discussed. She was more worried about it than I was, and worked her magic that on the day of the wedding that you couldn't even tell!!!! I'd also like to add, that she did amazing boutonnieres and corsages. These are important in making your VIP guests feel great! She created beautiful wrist corsages for my honorary bridesmaids. She also made a flower bundle to go on a sign, that she had not seen..it was great that she could visualize and understand what we were looking for only by hearing a vague description. She delivered as well and made it all stress-free with simple instructions and everything labeled. In conclusion, Colleen was such a wonderful vendor to work with and we were so happy we found her. She really completed our wedding look with beautiful flowers that were exactly what we wanted!

The Corner Shoppe is my favorite place to shop for items for my home and gifts for others. There are items from this shoppe in every room of my house. No matter where I have lived: NY, GA, MS or now PA I come back to the Corner Shoppe to see what is there. I tell Lisa (the owner) all the time she has such a 'good eye' to find unique things. One day I will find the time to spend the day there to look at every nook and cranny of the place as that is the best way to shop there. Lisa has 'gems' to be found in every room. Behind the greenhouse, we had a delightful time listening to our instructors who clearly have worked side by side at the farm. Educational facts about herbs with a sprinkling of humor began the event. It is so wonderful to attend a class where they share their knowledge about the herbs and their uses. They give you salient advice that helps you decide on which herbs fit the taste profile you enjoy so you build your herb pot on what fits you.
