I got excited when I saw there was an Amish market that was not too far away; I tend to like Amish…read moremarkets. But this place is TINY. The prices aren't very good, and there really isn't much to the store: just a walk-in cooler, another refrigerator in the front, and a couple of shelves. They have few kinds of fresh meat, a few vegetables, a little bit of butter, some milk & frozen meat. That was about it. But, the people were very nice, and it was a nice day for a drive.

THIS place is my favorite place to shop and I go regularly. Great selection of meats plus pre marinated options. Curated selection of veggies, milk, eggs, cheeses, and dips. Highly recommend the discount meat rack, I picked up 2 Delmonico's for $6 yesterday. Quality of meat is exceptional, personally had wonderful meals with their chicken, steak, and pork. It looks so small but each option they have is excellent! Service has also been great, I was there Christmas Eve looking for marinade ingredients and couldn't find what I thought I needed. Chatted to one of men working and he made a sauce recommendation that is my new go-to. More importantly the mustard sauce marinade for my baked corned beef was the best I have ever tasted. Three ladies finished over 3.5 lbs of CB at Christmas Dinner

I called ahead of time and asked what they had and the butcher let me know what was available and asked what I was looking for. When I got there it's a smaller store but the meat selection is great and the prices are on point with the area also. He remembered me from the phone call so I picked up two thick cut Ribeyes and a NY Strip Steak for our dog since it's his birthday. They also carry other cuts of meat which looked really tasty also. Definitely will be coming by here more often! They also have a great beer selection so check that out also The service was great and the meat looks delicious! Thanks guys!

This was probably one of the juiciest, tender fat cuts of meat I desperately needed. No premarinating needed, it absorbed the seasoning perfect in each succulent morsel. I hate biting into a rubbery piece of meat or cuts that have surprise muscle fibers that shouldn't be there. I also hate eating an animal that you literally taste "sadness". (Hard to explain that one) I haven't had a bad purchase yet over the past 13 yrs

Millington must be a utopian place. John Henry's has their own beef farm where the cows graze in…read morethe Michigan grasses. They have neighbors that produce pure pigs, outdoor bug eating chickens, lamb, eggs, butter, cheese and yogurt. From the pigs they make sausage and brats. Then they bring it all together for us in their store, to our door by delivery and to local farmers markets. John Henry's chickens got me eating me again after 20 years. I'm a believer in the quality of their products. My mother occasionally makes special requests. For example she wanted a fresh ham. So I ask for one. Yes they can do that. I fresh ham is one that isn't smoked. Go try to find one at your grocery store. She also wanted a particular cut of roast that she hasn't been able to get from a grocery store. Yes, they have those too. In fact right here, right now. They she wanted some soup bones. Yep that have those too, right here, right now. Your best way to find them is to visit the website. Then meet some family members at a farmers market. Maybe arrange delivery to your house too. The meat tastes real because it is.
