Awful experience , I was told my urine test did not contain the prescribed medicine I am taking , they basically lied to me so they did not have to prescribe me a med that I need to help me at this difficult time in my life. They will be very dishonest to accomplish what they want , instead of just being straight up and honest. The people at this facility just have no compassion for the clients and that's such an important quality to have when working with people who are struggling. I've read through some of their many many negative and incredibly poor reviews and it's heartbreaking to see so many of these people feeling the same way I do and been treated so terrible. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY , these doctors to anyone ever. There are better places. Better people. Keep looking ! read more

Are all these negative reviews talking about the same clinic? I have been a patient of North Cascades Family Clinic for many years and am very happy with this clinic. And I feel very blessed to have a primary care doctor who is smart, reasonable, well informed and caring. Thank you Dr Gamson! Having to deal with health care in another state, (Arizona) makes me even more appreciative of the quality doctors we have access to here. This clinic is awful they will lie and gaslight you! If you're struggling with any mental health needs and need any medication for anxiety besides Anti Depressants they will lie and get you outta there. I had not only one bad experience but 2!! This clinic is absolutely uncaring about their patients. They just call you up and say we won't see you here anymore after you have been going there over a year . Not once but twice. My doctor Dr. Traylor lied to my face... I told him my concerns and he said that would never happen blah blah blah and look what happened and he doesn't even have the balls to communicate with his patients he passes you off to practice managers who you don't know and they don't know you it's so unprofessional he even made a comment about me selling my clonazepam on the streets.. how unprofessional and unethical to even make such a absurd assumption.. I thought he was joking at first then I realized he wasn't and they even falsified my records saying I was in recovery for opioid addiction which is completely false and not true at all. I had to bring it to his attention to take that off I expect my medical records to be accurate and not falsified. They are just awful all around. I messaged and asked for a copy of this contract they say I breached I still haven't gotten a reply so they lie and say you breached a contract to get you out of there and then don't respond when you ask to see said contract. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO SAVE SOME SERIOUS STRESS. I will be going cold turkey off suboxone when I run out...im scared! but I am done! doctors think they are better then people they see and I won't ever let another doctor have that power and say I'm lying when I am NoT! Scammed me out of $250. Went in for a "free" drive-through COVID test. That's all I was there for and all I wanted. They also tested for STREP which I guess got them around the "free" visit. I was charged over $400, with the "free" COVID portion only covering $150 -- Sticking me with a $250 bill I never asked for. Dirty tricks. Don't go here. read more

I hope no one will have an experience like mine. I signed up for Dr. Nolan to be my physician. During my first visits, I felt that she listened to me, I really liked her. I went to her for my hypothyroidism, which was first diagnosed in 1988. I told her that for me you can't just look at the TSH blood work as with me it fluctuates. After only a couple years of going here and always having trouble getting on their website, not being able to review blood work results. she was having me come in for more blood work because my TSH was high or the next month it was low. It seemed like I was having to go in month after month for blood work. Then I was told I needed to schedule blood work again and schedule an appointment. I said ok. I went into the lab for the blood work and there wasn't any lab work paperwork in the lab, the lab tech looked for the doctor and she wasn't there so no blood work. I walked out, not happy. I let a week of so go by and called in to make the appointment to see the doctor, even though I could get my blood work done. So, now the only opening is a month out. When I did get on my web page. I saw the past blood work was TSH only. I said my prescription was gone and they wouldn't call one in, with the only opening a month out, I told them to take their schedule and shove it. read more

Well, to keep this short as possible.... DO NOT GO HERE! I went in to have some blood work done. My "Doctor" came in, listened to me for about 5 mins then said "I think you are bi-polar" ( WHAT????) She gave me a questionnaire and left the room.... I answered all the questions on the sheet with no. When she came back, she said she had got me MIXED UP with a patient that was in 2 weeks prior. Then went on to say that she "don't think you are bi- polar, but there is some sort of depression there. So lets start you on a medication to see how you do" I nicely told her hell no, that I just want these blood tests done and a referral to a endocrinologist. Pretty damn fast to start pushing Anti depression drugs on someone if you ask me. read more

My parents both see Dr Anita Meyer, so I do too, and have for several years. I figure she knows my health better than anyone else, especially because she knows my parents' health as well. Aside from the fact that she, literally, saved my father's life, she is an excellent and thorough physician. I once went in concerned that I was coming down with the flu, and after telling her I felt the worst I'd ever felt in my life, she ordered up an X-ray of my chest "just to be sure," and lo and behold at 24 years old I had pnuemonia. After experiencing a frightening, random and rather largely noticable and abnormal pupil dilation for a few months I saw an opthomologist and got no where, finally after talking with Dr Meyer about this situation, she could sense my discomfort and concern and ordered an MRI to be sure that there was nothing icky growing in my head that would cause any concern. She really did this to ease my mind and make me feel better, which is, what I feel, is the sign of a great doctor. She treats me and my parents with a concern for our health as if we were members of her own family. Not only is she my PCG but she is also my gyno and she makes my life cheaper and easier by meshing two appointments into one to keep my costs down for my high deductible medical plan. She does her best to keep me comfortable and migraine-free, and although I now live over an hour away, and she has informed me that she wouldn't have her feelings hurt if I switched doctors, I can't imagine going to anyone who would treat me with the care and respect that she and her staff do. The nurse she usually works with, Ruth, is great as well. I will continue to drive to Mount Vernon from Seattle for all my medical needs. read more

We have liked all the physicians at this Clinic. But especially Dr Eric Bylond. My husband literally won't see another physician even in an emergency! He has a great bedside manner, and is very knowledgeable. He actually performed both my first and second husband's vasectomy and they both turned out great! Lol He doesn't make you go see a bunch of specialist for things that he can do. Or a prescription he can write! They have a walk-in clinic, and a lab at their office. I don't think we've ever waited for more than 15 minutes waiting to be seen. read more

Worst experience. I was told by the doctor there I was fine and I must not really be feeling pain I said I felt. It took 5 days for them to call me back with results they had the next day. They kept me on hold and refused to answer my questions. Turns out I needed to go to the ER to have an organ removed. What a waste of money! Terrible experience. I have been out here on whidbey for four years now and have been looking for a physician that listens to me not what a book says. Dr Ross McConahey is great. He sat down and asked me questions and even tools me a little about his interesting life. Coincidently he lived near me in the mountains when he was fighting forest fires. I wish I knew him and his wife back then. I have a real good feeling about this practice. I've gotten calls from the front desk asking if I have everything needed for my visit. And I even had to call them because I have an appointment with a specialist at the end of the month and since they took blood samples maybe it could be shared. Nothing I said or asked for made me think I was going to far. It is a very good clinic and I wish more were like North Cascades. As I mentioned they took blood samples for three tests and then they called me the next day to give me the findings and what doctor McConahey advised me to do. read more

Worst clinic ever. As a patient I was more than happy with Erin Case, she is wonderful. However when I became pregnant, the reception staff said I wasn't allowed to see her anymore and gave me an appointment with an incompetent nurse that didn't have anything nice to say about the OB doctors. I would have liked to have a recommendation from my own primary care physician. Not to mention they asked me to be early to get checked in and then had me wait 40 minutes in the waiting room before being escorted into the back where I waited another 40 minutes in the doctors office before having my blood pressure taken and weight/height measurements. Urgent care is a joke, I have gone here twice for 'slow care', both times there were only 2-3 other people in the waiting room but I had to wait several hours only to be told that I don't have strep. Both times they told me I don't have strep. I have had to remind them of my allergies and not give me penicillin based antibiotics. Billing is another example of the incompetence there. Honestly, I won't even get into it. Please do not support this clinic. They do not value your time, the staff is rude, the nurses do not have faith in their doctors and the doctors in urgent care only tell you what you don't have (to which they either incorrectly prescribe or don't prescribe at all). read more

Currently I see NP Sauve and she is amazing. Attentive and always extremely helpful. The scheduling staff here is always prompt and helpful as well. Today I needed an appointment for my back and instead of me waiting in urgent care they suggested an appointment with another provider which likely saved me a couple of hours. read more

Worst clinic I have ever been to. I never written a bad review in my life before, this is actually my first time. They are very uncaring. When I have a question for my doctor, I call in the morning and they always end up calling me back either at the end of the day, that's 6-7pm, or will return my call the next business day at the end of the day. They mixed my appointment, and I didn't know about it. So they kicked me out of the clinic, so I wrote a letter to the administration to accept me as a patient again in their clinic, that there was a misunderstanding. They didn't care and didn't accept me again. They are rude and very careless. They don't care about their patients. read more

The front desk people are awful. I do not know if they are on some sort of power trip but they make it extremely difficult to accomplish anything... leaving the doctor a message, making an appointment, they are rude upon check in etc. I have been sent letters about bills that I have already paid stating that if I do not pay them the doctor will not be able to see me. I have worked in the medical industry for the past 10 years and this office is run like a dog and pony show. I wont mention any names because to each their own! I will say that I've been misdiagnosed once in the past. May of 2013 I went in for a yearly exam, asked for a complete blood work including all STD etc. I never heard back as far as results go. I then got a letter in August/September of 2013 telling me that I needed to return to the lab at North Cascade to have my blood drawn. So not knowing why, I went in and they drew a ton of blood, AGAIN, and once again I never heard back as far as results go. I could be running around town as a DIABETIC and not even know it!! SMH. But can you believe it, I sure did and continue to get a pretty large bill from them wanting the lab fees! Fees that I didn't agree to the second time around!! Other then that, the staff was all around nice, with the exception to my nurses nurse. OH and the wait is ridiculous, you finally get to have a 10 minute chat before the Doctor or whomever leaves again. read more
