Established in 2000.

The company begun in 2000 with one Heavy Tow Truck serving the NSW North Coast. After recognising the lack of a complete 24/7 towing service for light vehicles in the Coffs Harbour areas, a small Tilt Tray was purchased in 2007. With a friendly can do attitude, the company grew and a lazy axle Tilt Tray followed. The low height tray made it perfect for motor homes & large caravans. The longer tray & larger carrying capacity gave it the ability to carry multiple cars, providing affordable solutions for long distance & interstate towing. Earthmoving & Farm Machinery work presented, and the Tilt Tray fleet continued to grow with Bogie, 8 Wheel & Mid Size Tilt Trays added to help with the growing demand. Now with 3 Heavy Underlifts, 4 Prime Movers, 2 Supertilts, 2 Low Loaders, 2 Ext Trailers and a Port Macquarie depot handling the trucks & heavy machinery. North Coast Towing proudly boasts to being the biggest most professional towing company on the whole of the North Coast.

Meet the Business Owner: Scott W.

Scott began his time as an apprentice Panel Beater and began driving tow trucks at age 17. Panel beating was immediately followed with a post trade in metal fab constructing tow truck bodies. As his interest in all things towing was now deeply imbedded, the next progressive step was into the Heavy Towing industry where he began the long and arduous process of learning the many complicated aspects of Heavy Towing & Salvage. This was followed by a management position with a large Smash Repair/Towing company where he continued to be mentored whilst studying business at Tafe. Scott purchased his first heavy tow truck Contracting to Sydney's largest towing company further honing his skills. After obtaining a diploma in business management In 2000, he relocated to the North Coast where he operates a successful towing business with his young family and a dedicated team of professionals who together have built North Coast Towing into the leading & highly recognisable company it is today.
