Letter I sent in the mail and through email quoting said contact
    Duante P.

I'm beyond frustrated, and honestly, I feel taken advantage of. I bought a car from North Coast Mitsubishi West Cleveland and trusted them when they sold me a service contract. I later decided I wanted to cancel that contract -- something the actual contract says I have every right to do. It clearly states I can cancel by contacting the dealer in writing. But when I went back, I was told by Finance Manager Dean Eshghy that I could only cancel if my car was repossessed or totaled. That's nowhere in the contract. I showed him the section myself, but I was completely dismissed. No explanation. No accountability. Since then, I've been bounced between the dealership and the warranty administrator, with each telling me to talk to the other. I've sent a formal complaint, made phone calls, emails -- and still, no one has resolved anything. I've asked to speak to management and even provided my phone number multiple times. Still no help. No action. It's like once they had my money, they couldn't care less. I've been polite and patient, but enough is enough. This has dragged on far too long. It's not just bad customer service -- it's dishonest. They're refusing to honor a contract they wrote. If you're thinking about buying from here, think carefully. They'll smile at you during the sale, but once you walk out, you're on your own. Don't expect integrity or support if something goes wrong.

    Check engine and oil light.

Got a car from them in October of 2025 and exactly 3 months later in January 2026 the engine failed and no longer works. They don't answer the phone calls, the manager never answers either. They shredded the paperwork of my purchase and do not care about the fact that they sold me a car that stopped in the middle of the freeway. I called 7 times one day and got put on hold 6 times and hung up on mid conversation the 7th time. They don't call back when you leave voicemails. They act as if they are so busy from sun up to sun down. They sell sh*tty cars and don't care as long as they get the commission. Also my sales person Luis or Louis never told me the car had any problems and LEGALLY is supposed to disclose that (which is why this is getting taken to court) I would never recommend anyone to get a car from them.

DO NOT BUY from the Brookpark Location. MIGEL RUVINOV is awful, unprofessional, rude and condescending. As a word of professional advice - REFRAIN from calling women "darling." I would NOT encourage anyone to purchase from this location. I bought my vehicle less than a month ago. There were a few paint chips and scuff on the bumper. I asked that the areas be repaired and was told they could be touched up. That was fine with me. I finally had an appointment scheduled days ago (8/2/24) which was cut short due to humidity and rain that day. However, the handle and bumper scuff in particular was "touched up" by work that looks like my 8 year old son did it. SEE PHOTOS!!! The other areas (chipped paint) were NOT repaired due to weather conditions. I have had difficulty getting the appointment rescheduled, left two voicemails on the service line I was transferred to, text my sales representative "Bub" and did not receive a response after sending him the photos and went in person. I showed Migel the areas of concern. Migel was argumentative and rude, although he kept saying "I'm not trying to be rude." He tried to tell me that the scuff could not be repaired and that they touched it up. He belligerently kept repeating that they touched it up, they touched it up. I ask that the paint be removed from the bumper and handle and I would take my business elsewhere. He then spouted off that I could give him his car back -- OK, PLEASE take it back. So I asked if I could just turn it in since it was under 30 days. When I called his bluff, suddenly I couldn't do it, OK! This is a second vehicle for me and if given the opportunity I would have gladly given it back and went elsewhere. He is disgustingly unprofessional. Do NOT patronize this establishment. I was promised (in writing) two oil changes and tires "at cost" -- I will likely never even use them because he was so unprofessional and distasteful I NEVER want to encounter him again. The picture of the door handle is today (8/6/24) AFTER MIGEL took his fingernail and started chipping away the poorly touched up white paint. What an *insert expletive here* Do yourselves a favor and just go to reputable and professional dealerships. It is unfortunate because I liked my salesman, but the general manager is disgusting. Never again. I will take the vehicle to another shop to get repaired properly.

sold my granddaughter a car that was damaged! Never disclosed it. Trying to trade it and the carfax showed it has structural damage. She purchased in 2021 and it was disclosed to dealer at auction that it was in an accident in 2020. I wouldn't buy a Tyke car from them.

Paid cash for a '17 VW Jetta GLI in April for my 16yo daughter. Car had computer issues Day 1, EVERYONE knew, including sales. They lied about everything from the jump, and 8mos later, still don't have the car. Waiting on the computer part to come in, it's sitting at a VW dealership. While waiting, they provided 2 loaners, the first one stopped working, had to have it towed. The 2nd loaner was given with tags that were due to expire in weeks with a donut on it for my daughter to drive, and 2mos later, now it's sitting in my driveway with a different flat tire that has METAL EXPOSED. They tried to get me to drive the car in days before I had hip replacement surgery, bc that was easiest for them, and made no offer to come pick it up, or replace it with a vehicle that didn't look like something that didn't look like a homeless person was living in it. There is no worse customer service in Cleveland. Simply the worst experience ever. Dont expect management to care, bc they don't. That's been proven. Kyle is never available to talk, did nothing to help the entire time, which has been verified, and his boss approves bc I've never been contacted by anyone above, NOT ONCE. Simply can't be trusted. BEWARE and stay away. Not worth it, ever. 2nd loaner below. Will update after calling this morning to tell them to pick up the hooptie and bring me a car that works and isn't a deathtrap. I'm 99% sure they'll ask me to drive down on 2 dead hips to pickup the 3rd clunker. TBD

Rider cut out by paramedics NEVER disclosed

I was sold a Chevy Trex premier that had been in an accident so bad that the occupants where cut out of the car! They tried to blame me! I asked for a mechanical warranty and was given tire and maintenance without my permission! Do not buy from here they do not care about your safety or the law!!!! Shame on them!!!!

Came a very long way from Rochester, NY to Ohio since all of our dealers were closed due to COVID19. I chose your dealership for a Lexus RX 350 that I saw on Carmax. Everyone start to finish was amazing from Autumn and Stephanie on the phone who booked my appointment, to Dimitri who started/greeted me, then James Puckett who took over, and then his Supv/Mgr Nick who helped us finish the deal. It was an extremely accommodating, fast, friendly, no pressure process. John in finance was unbelievable too! Great job guys. Thank you to everyone there who made it a painless process for this Emergency Home Care Nurse from Upstate NY. I was in desperate need of a reliable (yet sexy) SUV fast, you made it possible and exceeded my expectations with what could have been a nightmare.

    Unbelievable experience!!

I'm sure the codes were cleared momentarily to manipulate the sale. At the time of the sale, I purchased the extended warranty and Next Step was pushy about their shop doing the repairs. The car was with them for months often on because the repairs were so poorly done. The Audi dealership said upon the initial inspection after I purchased the vehicle, reported the repairs would exceed the value of the car, keep in mind this was shortly after the purchase because the check engine lights were on. The car was inspected by 2 independent mechanics after Next Steps "New Engine" installment and the overwhelming report is that the NEXT STEP should never touch a vehicle again. Bolts were missing parts were put in the wrong place, hoses weren't connected properly. The list goes on and on it was about a 10 page detailed report from each in evaluator. The independent mechanics were disgusted that NEXT STEP would take advantage of a customer because Audi prides itself on brand loyalty rather than making a quick slimy sale. Don't walk away from this place, RUN. It's more like NEXT "MISTAKE" rather than NEXT STEP.

Once in Maryland I had to change the tires as they were bald and Matt refused to replace them before purchase. Then I had the car inspected at the local Mercedes' dealer and it had a major oil leak that had to be repaired in addition to all the maintenance required at 60k miles. Next step Auto Sales does not service their vehicles before selling them. Their goal is to stick you with maintenance costs and not take any liability for the condition of their cars before selling them. The Mercedes' dealer quoted 4K worth of maintenance required after inspection. I purchased the car for 27k. Steve the dealer owner denied the oil leak even though Mercedes' listed this issue on their inspection report. Steve also refused to honor the dealer warranty that came with the vehicle purchase which includes the engine and was quoted for 90 days / 3000 miles. I would not recommend buying a car from this shade tree dealer. Customer satisfaction is not on their radar at all! They just want to get your money and leave you stuck with a poorly maintained vehicle. Very sad. Below are pictures of the air filter and cabin air filter of the Mercedes' that they claimed to have serviced before the sale. Laughable to say the least. These guys should change their dealer name to "3 steps back auto sales"! If it was not for them having the particular car I wanted with the options I was looking for I would not even have bought a car from a non factory sponsored dealer like this one. Not hard to see the difference in customer service and the vehicle condition when using a low budget shady dealer such as this one. Stay away!

This was one of the most frustrating car buying experiences I've had…read more I was actively working a deal on a Chevy Equinox EV from out of state and made it very clear I was serious -- we discussed out-the-door pricing, confirmed details like the charger and paperwork, and I was literally preparing to drive 7 hours early the next morning with my dad to complete the purchase. At no point was I told there was another buyer actively purchasing the vehicle. Instead, I was led to believe the car was available and that we were moving forward. Then, right after confirming final details, I was suddenly told the vehicle was "in the process of selling." I completely understand first-come, first-served -- that's not the issue. The issue is the lack of transparency. If another buyer was ahead of me, that should have been clearly communicated so I could have made an informed decision (like putting down a deposit immediately). This isn't the first time I've had this happen during my search, but this was by far the most poorly handled. If you're an out-of-state buyer, be very cautious. Don't make plans or assume anything is yours unless you have it locked down in writing. Very disappointing experience.

It was a Friday night and they were closing for the weekend, we would have had to cancel our vacation. We decided to trade so we could get on our way but the only car available on the whole lot was a Corolla Cross. Recently we received an invitation to a sales event that was going to blow us away at Victory Toyota, we even had to make an appointment for this event. We walked into Toyota and saw very limited inventory. We looked at two cars and I counted five salesmen standing around in various parts of the showroom. Not one person asked to help. I finally walked up to a young gentleman and asked if there were any Highlanders. He said there were THREE outside ( huge sales event?) and proceeded to walk us out with no keys. Should we just look through the window? Upon going back to get the keys I wanted to test drive the Platnimum. I joked to him that I had planned to retire next year but if we buy a car that is going to change. I told him that I pick out the car and my husband does the numbers deal. He mentioned that when we got back to the showroom he'd see if retirement was still possible after crunching numbers. They did a quick appraisal of our Cross and then crunched NO NUMBERS...the price you see is the price you pay, minus the trade. We bought our last Toyota at zero down , zero finance. This dealership wanted 4.9 %. That is around $10,000 in intrest for the Highlander. . Land Rover is advertising 0.9% for select models. . We will definitely be looking around. . Ten years ago when my husband was looking for a vehicle for work he stopped at a competitor's lot just to see what they had to offer. The salesman was out the door and ready to greet my husband before he even got out of the car.
