A very popular store, probably the busiest at Cheshire Oaks, so the line to pay the cashier can be a little too long at times even with a lot of staff serving.

I was surprised to see a branch of JD Sports in St John's at Liverpool, especially considering they…read morehave a much larger (and recently refurbished branch) nearby at the much busier, more central location in the Liverpool One nearby, this store seemed to be one of the nicer and more modern stores in the St John's centre, although it still is tiny compared to the more central store. The store its-self is much smaller than other JD Sports branches I have visited, there seemed to be a small selection of sports gear and trainers, but not really anything other than that. The store its-self inside was like a typical JD Sports store, it was clean and modern. One could question the need for this store, considering the huge JD Sports over 2 floors nearby in a much better and more central location, but it might be a smaller store but it still is OK and a much quieter place to shop, if this was an empty unit it would make St John's as a whole even worse so the store is a nice addition to the shopping centre, but with staff seeming more interested in talking amongst themselves than helping customers in a quiet store, and the store its-self being small meaning one would often have to go somewhere else, or use the website to buy most of what you need, I feel the store does only deserve a two-star rating on this occasion.

You can see it on their website.) that had a longer fit with an edgy, yet fashionable design. I would say that the shirts are unisex. Women as well as men bought them on the night. Also, the service was very friendly and knowledgeable. Apparently, the owner designs and prints the t-shirts himself. He told me that the shop only just recently launched online with new designs being added regularly. Since the fair I've ordered another t-shirt ('Neukoln') from their online shop. The delivery was prompt. I can highly recommend this t-shirt shop! A*

A fairly small, compact branch of Adidas in Liverpool One, the store its-self from the outside…read morelooks quite modern, and inside it has a decent vibe with a nice selection of items from clothing to gloves to trainers for a store of its' size. I called in here for two reasons: 1. To temporarily shelter from the rain as the Liverpool One is barely covered 2. As I visited on "Cyber Monday", I called in to check out the offers going on in-store for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. The items on sale seemed to be priced at a competitive rate, obviously the full retail price to me seemed a bit off-putting, however, I did find a nice pair of gloves for between 15 and 17 pounds, reduced from between 21 and 24, this obviously proved to be an offer as the stock of this item seemed a little depleted, which is unsurprising considering this works out at around 30% off and the fact that with winter coming, it is very cold outside and certainly was on the evening of my visit to the store. They had a good selection of football jerseys, obviously, this didn't include my favourite team Manchester City, or Liverpool's teams Liverpool and Everton as those teams don't have kits manufactured by Adidas, but it did include jerseys from the likes of Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and worse still Manchester United, who are huge rivals of Liverpool and my favourite team, Manchester City - I can't help but wonder why these shirts are on for sale here but this is an approach many retailers do of supplying kits from teams with very few fans in the local area. The staff around the store seemed friendly enough. Although not as large as other sports shops, such as Sports Direct nearby or Adidas in my hometown of Manchester, this is still a decent store with a decent selection of goods, for a store of its' size, and although there were issues with original pricing, and maybe a small selection of trainers out of all things, especially compared to nearby stores such as the huge JD Sports store just a minute or two walk away, this store can improve but does surely deserve a three-star rating.

Staff are always keen to help if you require assistance. There is also student discount of 10% available, although during certain times of the year this increases to 15%. It's not too expensive, but not the cheapest place in town if you're on a budget but it's good quality and will last for you. The shop itself is a fair size and the staff are always really helpful, I sometimes shop online too if there's something I'm after and they don't have my size in, but the staff do their best to try and accomodate you in store, but their website is great too. It's in a reasonable location in the precinct just across the way from a little cafe area which is handy for a little rest. It does get quite busy but the staff never seem flustered or too nusy to help if they possibly can.

Sports Direct shops are always worth a browse as there are always bargains to be found, albeit with…read morea bit of searching required. This is a reasonably sized branch, located upstairs with up and down elevators, and just as packed as every other branch I've ever been in. If there is a problem it's that there's just too much stock on display. It takes ages to properly look around, in places the display racks are crammed in so close it's a struggle get through aisles and in some cases items are hung high up on displays that can only be reached by ladder so you need to find a member of staff to get items for you (which then maybe makes you feel more obliged the item). But overall the chance of finding a bargain or two outweighs the logistical difficulties.

New Look have recently had a new makeover and are more up to date with the fashion for this generation. The price of clothing and footwear has gone up slightly but is still very well worth the money, the quality of the clothing is also allot better.
