I had a very disappointing experience at this Hyundai dealership. Before visiting, I communicated clearly and in writing (email and text) with a salesperson who identified himself as Joseph R. (or "JR"). I provided exact details of the deal I was looking for, including: 2026 Hyundai Tucson Limited (Hampton Gray) 36 months / 12,000 miles $3,000 down $380-$390 monthly All taxes, registration, and fees included No additional or hidden costs These terms were confirmed in writing, and I was asked to come to the dealership. I have screenshots as evidence. When I arrived at the dealership, I was told the deal was $90 MORE per month than what had been confirmed. This was a significant change from the written agreement and was never disclosed beforehand. When a supervisor came out, instead of honoring the written confirmation, the salesperson distanced himself from the agreement. The supervisor identified the salesperson as "J-R", and the situation was handled in an unprofessional manner. At that point, I was left with the impression that the name provided earlier may not have been accurate or complete. This experience felt like an attempt to bring me into the store under agreed terms and then change the numbers in person. That is misleading and a waste of a customer's time. I strongly recommend that anyone dealing with this dealership get everything in writing and verify all numbers before visiting. Check their used cars very carefully. Pay for a PPI that will give you a guarantee. These guys will sell you a used car with issues and not take care of you after the sale. I bought a car from them a few weeks ago and called out the wiring damage I found within a couple of days after buying the car. I was told "you bought a 3 year old used car what did you expect". I didn't expect a $13,861 wiring repair within days of taking delivery. Who strips the full interior of a car they intend to buy to inspect for wiring damage? Not only that but they were too cheap to even give me a tank of gas when I bought the car . They've been kicking the can down the road with me for weeks suggesting they might be able to do something for me, when I knew at the end of the day they weren't going to do a thing. They're even too chicken to actually call me and tell me they are t going to do anything for me. They did zero reconditioning on this car. Not even an oil change. This Hyundai dealership is the worst dealership EVER! I would give ZERO stars if I could. From sales, to finance, to service, and also the parts dept, all trash! Sales: Michael never told us the car didn't come with a spare tire, it only came with a tire mobility kit! But sure did tell us it came with Roadside Service! Finance: My girl signed a contract that stated $36k and pymt of $551, with Kyle Lowe, their 'amazing finance guy' per Michael the salesman. Her first bill came and showed $38k and $583 pymt. She immediately called Hyundai Finance. They said that's what's in the computer, we need to call the dealership. Kyle said he doesn't understand how that happened but he'd take care of it. After too many "collections" calls and calls with Kyle, the amounts were fixed. The issue started in December and it was not corrected until February. We contacted a Consumer Affairs Attny. Service: Mia is the rudest person ever. Bad attitude each time my fiancé spoke with her, like she just hates her job. My fiancé had a blowout. Since Michael told us about the amazing roadside service we were getting, my girl called the roadside service for the blowout. After a bunch of BS, the roadside service will only tow the vehicle to a Hyundai dealership. Really? We couldn't get it towed to Discount Tire to get the tire fixed or replaced, the car can only be towed to Hyundai. I tried using the "mobility kit", and of course it did nothing for the tire. After 3 1/2 hours of waiting there, the tow truck finally arrived. We met him at North Freeway Hyundai around 7:00pm. They wanted us to leave the keys but not sure if we wanted the dealership to fix the tire. Mia said 'Fine, bring me the keys in the morning, I get here at 7:30am'. Since the car was towed to the dealership I guess she assumed we were going to get them to "fix" it? To us, it depended on the cost. It's like they FORCE you to get your tire fixed or replaced by them because that's the only place the "amazing roadside service" will take your vehicle. She said she would get us a quote. I said ok, we'll wait. Mia rolled her eyes and said, 'Ok, it's going to be a while, I have other stuff I have to do'. We waited. Parts: We waited and started googling prices for an actual spare tire for her new Kona. Went to the parts counter and spoke with Randy, an older man who had no clue we were standing there until I said excuse me, can you help us? We got a price on the spare tire kit, not bad so we purchased it. Of course it wasn't in stock so he ordered it, we paid for it, and he said he would call us once it got there, but it should be there "Wednesday". Mia finally gave us a price on the new tire, so we left the keys with her and the car would be ready by 1:30pm on Monday. I told her I'd be at work, how is my girl going to get the car and she said they have a "Lyft" that will come get her. As we left, we received a text from Mia saying if we had any questions we could text that number. Monday rolls around and my girl gets an alert that her doors were unlocked on her Kona, so she knows they are about to fix the tire so she texts that number to get them to come get her and she will just wait there until it's finished. Mia texts her and says to wait, they need time to install. So my girl texts back and says she is just trying to get the Lyft started and doesn't mine waiting once she gets there. Then Mia texts back and says she doesn't want to rush the guy. My girl tried to explain to her she wasn't trying to rush the install, she just wanted to get a Lyft up there so she would be there once it WAS ready. Then Mia just texts her back with a number to Lyft. Unbelievable! Mia was all around a very unpleasant person to deal with. Parts Dept: My girl picked up her car Monday and was supposed to pick up the spare tire on the following Wednesday, but was waiting on Randy to call her and let her know it was there. No call from him Wednesday. She called the Parts Dept on Thursday and left a vm to call her back to let her know if the spare tire kit had arrived. No call back. On Saturday, I was driving by that trash dealership, so I stopped by to see if the tire was there yet. It was there. Once I signed for it, I asked Randy why he never called my girl to let her know it arrived. He said, and I kid you not, 'Well, the guy in the back never brought it up to me so I didn't know it was here'. Unfortunately, this dealership does not value honesty . From the seller to the used car sales manager Dan Khalid and VP of Operation Tim Shipe . They promised to repair a damaged part of a used SUV I had Purchased, as part of the purchase agreement. Soon after I purchased the used Vehicle I called at least 3 times for the next 3 weeks to follow up on the status of the part they promose to install. I called the seller directly many times and each of them he made up many excuses for the next 3 weeks. Finally, last Thursday after I called for the 10 th time, the seller , told me to bring my vehicle in because the part "supposedly had arrived " . Then , later that same they called me back to tell me that the part had not actually arrived and I had to either keep the car there for another 7 days until the part arrived since they had not order it . So , I had to drive back yesterday afternoon from South Houston , 45 min drive again to get my car back and now wait for the simple Radiator Grill part to arrive after 4 weeks of Purchasing the vehicle and being told that the part had arrived . I just want to say that even if you sell a used car , Value Honesty and respect for your customers . I am very disappointed with how this dealer handle some of his customers and hope the Upper management make the necessary changes to handle their customers with attentiveness and respect . I just bought the new 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe! OMGOODNESS I love this car! The new body style is reminiscent of the top luxury brands and my vehicle is wrapped in the color, Tiffany Blue! It's one of a kind! The new Santa Fe has dual skylights, fully powered seats that heat and cool, and navigation that will keep me in my lane. I have Sirius satellite, and you cannot beat that 3 years 100,000 mile warranty! All I have to do is put the gas in, and the maintenance is on them! Kris was my salesman and he was amazing! I had an unfortunate experience with my purchase of a new Elantra Hybrid at this dealership. Everything went well with the purchase and financing and the test drive. However, all along the way I was given to believe that the vehicle had the Bluelink feature that allows for communication with your phone and other features. The salesman, Yusuf Elias, and the finance person were extolling the feature to me during our discussions. I was even signed up for a Bluelink account by the salesman and received an email that very day, April 5, reminding me to activate my Bluelink account. I was unable to activate the account. When I called the help service for Bluelink, I discovered that the model I had purchased did not have that feature. Imagine my disappointment that one of the features that had induced us to purchase the vehicle did not exist. I let the salesman know of my displeasure and was told that he would have his supervisor speak to me. On a follow up he told me that person was not in and not expected to be in the next day. I also asked for a new customer survey to fill out that would take into account this experience, and was told that a supervisor would contact me about that. As of this review, no such contact has occurred. I guess their attitude is caveat emptor at this point. As I posted on Facebook: "Being stuck at a car dealership is similar to being laid up in a hospital. In both situations: - You're stuck there for hours. - Your phone battery drains faster, even when turned off. - You're stuck in a room with a bunch of people, no plugs, and seats that likely haven't been cleaned in ages. - Your insurance won't cover it, leaving you with a massive bill." Thumbs Down: I went in to fix a scratchy brake, fully expecting them to upsell unnecessary services--that's standard business for dealerships and service centers. Thumbs Down: I was RIGHT! For a simple squeak, they presented a $3,500 laundry list of "urgent" services, claiming my car would become a death trap without them. Thumbs Down: The representative had a poor attitude when I called out their blatant attempt to take advantage of me. Thumbs Down: They held my car hostage until I paid for the brake service plus an additional charge they tacked on, just to legalize the theft. Thumbs Down: Worse, my car had just had an oil change before this visit, but about a week later, it needed another. The new technician discovered all the oil had been pumped out and suggested sabotage, as the previous oil change had been done properly (I watched them do it). But, being a loyal customer having purchased 3 vehicles from North Freeway Hyundai (Elantra, Tucson & Genesis), I expected a better experience. There's a reason Brandon Burris and Tim Shipe are specifically named in so many of the negative reviews! I'd be happy to share written correspondence from Brandon where he basically held me and my vehicle hostage stating- approve the repairs or we will have it towed to a storage lot at your expense! I also have a text stating- while installing the starter, the tech broke a bolt. Then another text stating- after replacing the bad starter, it shorted out the ECM. I feel repairs to my car were made that were not needed as well as me being charged for a repair that was caused by the service department's install process. What began as a $1700 starter replacement ended with a repair bill of $4700+ which included replacing the ECM their tech shorted out. I would have expected not to have to bear the full cost of both repairs or at minimum given some sort of discount. I asked for an explanation and that the service dept take some responsibility/accountability and was ignored. BEWARE, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED! I would highly recommend finding a different service department. Customer service is severely lacking here! read more

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. It was by far the WORST experience getting service at this location. To start, I had made an appointment to resolve a parking sensor issue in my Hyundai Elantra. I was told it would take only 1-2 hours for the service to be complete. I responded by saying, "Sure, that is fine; i'll wait." When waiting in the lobby, I noticed there were 2 people very upset and demanding to speak to a supervisor regarding an issue with their vehicle. I was like in my mind, please tell me I am not going to run into any issues with these service people. Yet, I was right about that! After 2 hours, there were no updates on the status of my vehicle. I was working with the service advisor, Brandon B. I had to go to him to ask him for an update, and he told me, "...all I know is its on the rack and the technician is looking at it..." Why not go to the technician and ask for an update? I mean come on, I am not here to tell you guys how to do your job. Unlike other dealerships, they would update their customers every certain number of hours. Anyways, I kept my composure and waited an additional 2 hours. Still NO UPDATES. I had to go back to Brandon B. again to ask for an update. He then told me that it's probably going to take another couple of hours or up to 3-5 business days. I then asked if I could just get a loaner vehicle. He responded "Oh, we don't have loaner vehicles..." I was like, "Okay, can I get Uber to go home?" He said, "...Oh no, we don't have those types of services." I was so furious that this dealership had nothing available! Yet, I see there are a dozen and dozen vehicles sitting on the lot that can be used as loaners. Moving forward, I just decided fine; I will just have someone come pick me up and take me home. My spouse was not too happy about this and had proceeded to write a negative review. In a matter of minutes, a service manager called me by the name of "Tim." He told me over the phone that he was sorry for everything that happened, and all of a sudden he mentioned they have loaner vehicles available. I told him over the phone, "Why wasn't I offered a vehicle at the time I was there?" He was speechless at the sound of his tone; he didn't know how to respond. So I told Tim over the phone that I would like to schedule to have one the next day. Needless to say, my vehicle was all of a sudden ready for pickup the next day before they gave me a loaner. When I picked up my vehicle, they told me they had to take apart the front bumper to reinstall a new parking sensor for the front bumper. As any customer would before driving their vehicle out of the dealership, I did a quick look to see if there were any damages on my vehicle and made sure everything was functional. I didn't notice anything at all. When I got home, I didn't notice this at the dealership before I drove home; the front bumper was not properly installed back on (please see image below). I had called back to the dealership to schedule a new appointment, and they had told me there were no available appointments for another 2 weeks (I was basically flagged). However, when I scheduled my first appointment, there were available slots in 3 days. How funny is that? I told them never mind; instead, I decided to see if I could try to go to another dealership to have my issues resolved. I went to the Brookshire location; the experience was really great, and the customer service there was 5/5 stars. What's also funny is that I told my service advisor at the Brookshire location about what happened at North Freeway Hyundai. He told me there are so many customers complaining about that location and about why they have more customers coming to them than North Freeway. If I were you, DO NOT get your vehicle serviced here. They just want to waste people's time, and the fact that there were people demanding to speak to a supervisor there explains a lot. I'd recommend that you go to Brookshire Hyundai. My car has 2 recalls on it that need maintenance. I called and the lady was very rude to me when I couldn't find a "recall code"... on my notice there is literally no recall code. I tried the number on the top right and then I told her I could give her the vin number but she kept being very rude about it...... I don't know why. It's literally not on the notice they sent me. I spouted off every code on there and she would yell at me no that's not it. Finally when we got past that I asked if I could get a ride home from an appointment while it gets fixed or get a loaner (so I could get back to work) she told me they'd call me back. They never did. It's been two weeks now and there is a recall stating my engine could catch fire... So after years of terrible service from them, I'll be switching to Weisner. This dealership is very bad. Mainly the service department. They are not honest and flat out rude. They sent me a picture that we're supposedly my air filters. The ones in the pic were horrible looking. I declined having them replaced. When I got home I looked at my filters and they were NOT the filters in the pictures they sent me. And they want $60 for a cabin filter...I bought the same exact filter on Amazon for $12. They also said I needed a fuel injection treatment for $179.00. The car had less then 15k miles. Also tried to sell me an alignment for $110. Total BS! I will never return to this rip off stealership and suggest you avoid them. I am here for the 3 rd time with the same transmission issue, after being told there was no issue or problem with the transmission Yesterday my car would not go into reverse or drive. I had the car towed to the dealership today after having more transmission issue with a new transmission that was installed in December at Hyundai Spring. The car is still under warranty but, I am being told that I can't get a loaner until the car is evaluated on May 3rd which is a week away from today. Just want to be treated fairly, because I brought this issue to their attention in February and there was a issue again to bring it back. Now I will have to figure out how I will get kids to school and go to work. 2 of the 3 new car sales people I've spoken to over the last two months have been nice and courteous. One couldn't be bothered, since I wasn't his customer he wasn't interested in representing the brand and checking to see specific car was on the lot. Don't buy any cars with white paint, There are so many people with paint issues. They had a 6 year warranty, that's great and all, my car has been chipping paint from almost the moment I got it. They had paint coupons that I could bring the car in for a touch up. Which that in its self should have been a red flag but I thought it was a perk. I bought my car in the end of 2016. Brand New 2017 Santa Fe Sport. I was so excited. Now I am just out of the warranty by 1 year and they won't do anything for me about the paint on my car. Its getting worse day by day. This is what my car paint is doing. My car will end up like a dang Dalmatian. read more

We had the scheduled. Maintenance done here (the first) on our 2023 Santa Fe. They did not tighten the oil filter down correctly an all of the oil drained out. Now they are refusing to pay for the repairs. Please fire Brandon. read more

Bad experience at the dealership today. I scheduled the appointment a month in advance to have my tires replaced and my daytime running light fixed. I scheduled for the 24th but instead I called back to schedule for the 17th and got my appointment set for the 17th at 9:30. the moment I got there, not only was I not in the system but they did not have my tires and I said to just fix my light. all they did was air up my tires and sent me on my way. the only thing they are good for is an oil and that's all I'll ever get here. They don't even deserve 1 star but I have to give it or I can't post a review. read more

We bought a 2020 4Runner from this place. We negotiated price and conditions and everyone agreed. After we paid cash for the car, they backed out of every condition we agreed to including replacing the rear emblem that they admittedly damaged after the trade in. Horrible dealership, I can't wait to see them fail. read more

Had a very negative experience with the Genesis service department. Took the car in at 30K miles to have an oil change and tire rotation. Noticed a rattling noise in the front end after I picked it up. Called and made an appointment to have it looked at. They told me when I arrived that they might not look at it that day, EVEN THOUGH I HAD AN APPOINTMENT. When, with goading, they finally looked at it. Richard told me that they had noted the sounds and that I had "*chuckle* Major mechanical issues . . ." (Never would tell me what the problem was.) Turns out, it was my wheel bearing. Considering my car's low milage and the timing of the issue beginning just after they serviced it, I am sure they damaged it while or immediately after servicing it. But I'll have to bear the cost of their mistake. Poor service and poor professionalism. Not what I expected from a luxury dealership. read more

This review is for Genesis of Spring, which is the same dealership listed above. We purchased a preowned 2022 Genesis G70 from 45 North Genesis of Spring, back in October of 2022. The vehicle had 6,000 miles at that time. I did not realize until last year that we did not inherit the normal incidental maintenance coverage, such as oil changes, car wash, tire rotation. It did include the powertrain extended warranty. The sales' person was Mr. John Lewis. Back in June, I telephoned Mr. John Lewis about scratch marks, three (3) to be exact, that were on the front left lower bumper of my vehicle. These scratches were not pre-existing and were through no fault of the dealership. I just felt like, as a previous recent customer, I felt like they could offer a simple but neat quick fix. So, I contacted John because he was the sales associate who sold the car to me and my husband. I asked him if he thought their body shop could touch these areas up, in a discreet fashion. I offered to send him a photograph and he responded, "I don't need a photo, I just need you to bring the vehicle by." With that being said, I drove the car over on Tuesday, June 4th at 10:00 a.m. and handed it over to Mr. Lewis, who then drove it back to their body shop. He never once called me to discuss the plan of action or request permission for approval, for what was done. He just brought the vehicle back and said it was done! When I looked at the finished product, I was appalled with the steps that were taken. The spot looked like it was spackled on in a slab fashion, in a dull white matte finish, with no smooth consistency. No color match was done, as the color of my car is Uyuni White Pearl. I am not sure who did the work or if it was done by the body shop or another associate. Either way, I did not give consent or approval. I also had a conversation with John, via telephone, immediately, voicing my disapproval. He was very obstinate and dismissive. I tried reaching out to the body shop manager (Mr. Burris), but he would not return my call and referred me over to the sales manager (Clay). I called and left text messages and he finally called me back, at which time he requested photos, which I supplied. After he reviewed the photos, he kindly dismissed my dispute on how they touched up my vehicle. I reached out again to Clay via text message and sent him an additional e-mail, to which he did not respond. If they could not fix this minor problem efficiently, all they had to do was say no, but they did not give me a choice in the matter. I write this review to declare, "I will never buy a vehicle from this dealership ever again and I would not advise you to do so either"! They do not care about their previous or repeat customers.
