There is a lovely outside eating area which is very nice in the summer, it is at the back of the shop so offers privacy and is a nice place to sit and have a natter. The cafe has a somewhat edwardian feel to it and is a beautiful looking building inside and out. It is a bit more expensive than other local cafes but does have a nice feel to it and is a bit more than a typical cafe.

But the brews are good enough & blooming cheap too. Rare is it that you can get a pint for under two pounds. Here they have a selection for under that princely sum. Its beautiful long beaches are ideal to take the family for a walk in the winter or picnic and donkey ride in the summer. The shoreline is laden with shops and restaurants which although have been there for many years provide a modern twist to the vintage town. Harbour Bar is one these as seems to have been there forever yet keeps up with modern expectations and preferances. It fits in perfectly next to the harbour - selling ice creams at excellent prices. The quality of the icecream is a lot better than what you'd find in a bog standard ice cream van. The service isn't amazing yet it doesn't seem to matter as its very prompt and sooner or later you are enjoying your '99 strolling by the lifeboat station. In the winter when the weather isn't at its best you can always sit in and order something warm either a hot drink or hot food if ice cream isn't your fancy on a cold day! It's clean and modern yet represents the beauty of the town of Scarborough - definately recommended for all the family!

Theres a small outdoor seating area, which is basically just a sectioned off area on the high street, but the inside is much bigger than you'd expect - its three levels, so theres usually plenty of room even in the busiest periods, and the seating varies from the standard chairs to the more comfortable leather sofas. Theres a wide range of food ion the menu or the daily specials board, from sandwiches and cakes to full meals. the food is unpretentious and very nice. Prices are reasonable and waitress service is attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Coffees are a step above the usual standard of seaside cafe coffee, and you never feel rushed when you're in there. Highly recommended and one of Scarboroughs better cafes.

I ordered the Toffee Spiced Latte, and it was absolutely delicious. Luckily enough I came in here when the £0.50 drink promotion was running, so I scored a top drink at an amazing price!! The baristas that work in here are super friendly, and make the drinks really fast, which is great if you're in a hurry. There's also plenty of indoor seating available, but unfortunately when I visited, the COVID restrictions were in full swing, so only takeout was available.
