I'm not very happy with this school and everything going on . They have no sympathy for the kids they yell and scream at your child as if they are the parent. Whilst the school is populated with fools that walk into bathrooms to vape, put things in the toilets and mess it all up; the dress code isn't perfect; the teachers can range from mediocre to amazing. It's still a very ok school that does deserve better than what it has right now. Bullying policy needs to be put in place, I've had people harass me for my sexuality. The housing around North Port is limited and because so the security isn't as big as it should be. Teachers also get into different parts of the daily routine because staff deems it so, causing disruptions in every day in school hours. But if you are active in your endeavor to graduate, then you're sure to find success. That's why The Student Success Center exists and I feel like the staff in there are so very unappreciated. The students, if they play the right cards and find the best groups, can have a better chance at graduation. While on the topic of the students, they also have valid complaints about the school and the staff sadly have no say in the decision other than the big heads on top, namely the principle. I believe the principle is reasonable and headstrong in what she feels is needed to help the students feel satisfied and accomplished. All in all, the school is still a decent if not slightly above average. The students need to learn to accept the rules and the people around them. The staff are very helpful and the instructors are a range of 2 to 5 stars if that was possible. I will not say the school is a masterpiece but it certainly is not the one star rating that people give it. So to give a curve to the ratings, I put a four star for it. No school is perfect but I can safely say that the school isn't terrible, unlike Woodland Middle School which I can safely say is a hellhole that should be redone entirely. read more

Cause school is hard as hell and nobody wants to go. 0/10 rating would not attend again...willingly. read more
