Don't go here if you actually need help! This is the worst customer service you will ever receive, if you can ever get a hold of any one. Either their phone system is broken or the team is totally incompetent. We have been waiting to get in to see them for months now. Over the months we have called and left several voice mails with questions and no one every called us back. The link for our virtual appointment this morning did not work and by the time we finally got in (5 minutes late) the DR. disconnected, it was set to be an hour long appointment. The office said they cannot honor it because we were late, but it was their link that did not work. I called over 12 times today to reschedule and it goes to VM every time, three voice mails later and no one responds. This place is awful, if you a family who needs help keep searching! read more

Today northrrange up and decided to claim i was non compliant after being phase 3 in their MAT program for 18nmonths getting off parole being released by my psychologist and remaining sober all because my work is national and takes me state to state and I can't just be at .random wednesday every month at 3 pm... are you kidding me...who ISNT WORKING AT 3PM....all I did was follow the rules now I'm being forced to go off of 16mg/day of suboxone and 79mg of vyvvance...for getting a maintaining a career? For changing my life? The case manager at north range for greeley Colorados MAT program claimed my psychiatrist Angel Nickels prescriptions didn't matter and that I havr no choice but to adhere to their schedule thpu I'm unable to. Let's get this straight...they told a man who just did13 years in prison ( robbing banks for heroin addiction) to go back to them streets and get medicine there. nothing good to say here about their Acute Treatment Unit. Aside from one or two notable exceptions, staff were very unhelpful. it seemed as if the providers were actively avoiding our calls. Family member discharged with only a remnant of a discharge plan. conflicting communication from staff in the rare event of any communication at all. Actual Rating: 0.0/5.0 stars Let's get started. I reached out to this place because I'm a complete, miserable loner in Greeley. I tried out one of their support services being Frontier House. My whole time there was miserable within a span of one month (Mid August through Mid September). The staff were abrasive, rude, and condescending. There were lunches being made, which were decent by the way. But, no members were allowed to serve themselves at a salad bar. That's insulting where employees working there think their clients are too stupid to dine at Golden Corral on their own. I sat alone during lunch, and the other guests had a sketchy thug side to them. Since I've had awful homophobic actions done to me in Greeley numerous times before, I didn't feel safe there. I addressed my concerns to one of the staff members, and she blew me off. I stopped going immediately, and I reported this to North Range. Nobody did anything. I waited months on end for a therapist appointment. I didn't get it until January, and it was on Zoom. It's certainly a lower quality form of service, and the pandemic has been over for quite sometime. I missed the appointment since the therapist and me had different schedules sent from North Range. I gave up on their services after that. This place is a joke, with homophobic malice. Avoid it at all costs! read more

There is one practitioner here who is very good. I have rated her profile accordingly. She saved my career after what this place did. The nurse at this place was yelling at patients. Nurse Ratched doesn't even begin to describe her. My treating physician was really harsh. I woke up in this place as a victim of malpractice because an ER doctor misdiagnosed my condition which was not mental health in nature, but physical. I woke up with amnesia heavily sedated, consent was taken when I was in no condition to give consent. I'd wanted help my whole life for my real condition. Female ADHD. I sought a private doctor and got that help. I no longer need any help from psychiatry. This place operated like a jail. I was snapped at. The doctor said 'we'll see about that' rudely to my face when I tried to explain that I don't have the condition they accused me of. I was about to lose my job as an educator and they wouldn't even tell me when I would see a doctor or be able to leave. The recreation at this facility was to throw a flat volleyball in a dark room. I am a clean record, high-performing, highly intelligent, highly educated, member of society. I wouldn't want anyone to be treated this way. This system sucks. Look somewhere else. In fact, get a fucking lawyer and run. Psychiatric care is unconstitutional. And a violation of human rights in this country. Don't support treatment like this. Sick people need healing. Not labels. Not trauma to add to a lifetime of health problems and difficulties. Whoever is the doctor here is Dr. Kovorkian. People have never been so rude to me in my life. Made an appointment for a couple of my kids. Had a virtual "intake" appointment and was told i would receive a call to setup a routine schedule. The call never came, but the bill sure did. I'm so glad these people care enough to help when a teenager is threatening to kill themself. read more

If I could not give any stars I would. That is how bad my experience was with these people. They are supposed to be a crisis center to help people and it took them almost 3 days to call me back to make an appointment after we were needing help sooner than 3 days later. We ended up going to our doctor to get the help we needed and this has now ended up in a mandatory hospital stay. This is a THANKS FOR LITERALLY FOR NOTHING. I do not recommend even trying to work with these people. The initial counselor that we spoke with didn't even have the patience to set up a follow up appointment and this was almost 3 weeks ago. This place has gone to the dump. Things were going ok at first. Then when I had an issue with my Medicaid they stopped seeing me. I still had Medicare, but that didn't matter. They claim that folks will not be turned away for inability to pay....Hahahaha! I was just that. Dropped like the piece of crap I already felt like I was. I'm surprised this place doesn't have a barrage of negative reviews (or any at all, for that matter). This is hands down the absolute WORST place you could go for mental health care. They are NOT a mental health provider - they're an addiction "treatment" center that pretends to also offer mental health care. I have never had a more horrid experience in my life than what I experienced at the hands of these people. I came from a stable environment (in another state) where I had both a talk therapist and a psychiatrist who worked with me on my meds. I had/have no addiction issues; my needs are strictly for mental health (bipolar + some other stuff) and being on the proper meds. North Range ended up being my only option when I moved out here (a mistake in its own right, but that's another story) as they were the only place I could find that supposedly offered mental health treatment to low-income patients. And initially, things seemed okay, even if not optimal (I was assigned a social worker and a nurse practitioner - no actual doctors or therapists around, apparently). My first meeting with the social worker was alright, she seemed friendly enough and acted like she actually wanted to help. But, over the course of the meetings I had with her (I don't recall exactly how many, as I was only a client at this place for three months due to the way I was [mis]treated) she kept focusing more and more on me having 'friends' and going out to do things. That had zero to do with why I was there and my actual issues received very little attention. The first meeting with the nurse practitioner left me reeling. I had brought paperwork and other info (including my med chart) from my old psych, and upon stating I'd like to remain on the same regimen of meds, she literally laughed at me while saying "no". I had been on 4 different meds at the time, two of which are not ones anyone abuses. The other are abusable but I was not, and never had been, abusing them, nor I was using any 'street drugs' (proven via blood testing). I walked out of that initial meeting with a px for a BLOOD PRESSURE MEDICATION that is sometimes given to people who experience 'stage fright'. The anxiety I experience is PTSD-induced and panic attack-inducing (so much so that about a year prior to all of this I had been taken to the ER after experiencing seizures brought on by a severe panic attack - my brain doesn't mess around, apparently). She refused to give me anything else. I found out at my next meeting with the social worker that the PA had deemed me a "liar" and "drug seeker" (and also apparently a "manipulator", which I only found out about around three years later at a disability hearing). All I had done was given her my med chart and asked for the very same meds I was already on (but almost out of). Things went downhill from there, though the PA did finally realize she needed to do a "CYA" because she had cold-turkeyed me from a benzo (a huge no-no, especially in someone who has a history of seizures), so she gave me a med that actually turned out to be good, but in a different way. She once again told me it was for 'anxiety', but it actually isn't - it's for nerve pain, and since I have damaged discs in my neck, it made an amazing difference as far as that was concerned. THEN she gave me an incredibly dangerous med (that she was being paid to push - I got tons of "samples" that she kept in her desk drawer) that has severe side effects (which I experienced; she called me a liar for that). It caused me to sleep 18+ hours/day along with a host of other fairly serious issues, so even though I tried it for about a month, I ultimately decided I just couldn't take it. She was furious and said I was just "refusing" to work with her because I was a "drug seeker". She'd also gone from telling me I was lying about having anxiety to telling me that some of the things I was feeling were due to my anxiety (which is it??). Ultimately she told me to never come back (literally). Fine by me. The social worker got mad as well, and told me I could simply stop being bipolar if I actually wanted to. After that little gem I never went back, even though they already had future appointments scheduled for me. Interestingly, when I failed to show they never bothered to call or find out what was up - while at the same time my girlfriend was seeing a working grad student for counseling at the same place, and one day she was about 20 minutes late due to snow. They called her right away to make sure she was okay and to see if she was going to make it to her appointment. I spent the next year or so in a persistent semi-psychotic state - I am extremely unstable when left untreated. Fortunately, we moved again and I was able to find another low-cost clinic where they use real doctors and actually treat mental illness, and I've been with them ever since. Not as well off as I was pre-North Range, but better than post-. STAY AWAY! HORRIBLE PLACE WITH HORRIBLE PEOPLE! read more

I am very disgusted by the way this institution treats people like me with serious mental health struggles. Whenever I up my dosage in medication, they require that I see them more frequently-except I live out of state! They are so strict about this, I am not even allowed to have a phone interview with my psychiatrist. So if I can't travel 800 miles from St. Louis, MO, sorry, no meds for you! Enjoy your anxiety attack and dry-heaving withdrawals! I'm not sure if it's North Range or Colorado law. If it's Colorado law, I apologize for taking it out on my review of North Range. Was taken from my home, drugged at the hospital, then dumped at this facility and put on an emergenvy medical hold for 72 hours while the benzodiazapines wore out of my system. They use faulty BP machines and most of the employees seem to have little to no experience in dealing with anyone having a mental health crisis, yet they claim plenty of grant money to operate as such. This place is a sick joke on this entire County. read more
