Breeder was very patient dealing w me lol. we absolutely love her. she's been a blessing and a joy in the house. she's a snuggle bug and my little shadow. I would be so sad if we had let her go, she's been therapeutic in many ways for me as I continue to heal. my kids love her as well... everyone loves her. we would adopt from NS frenchies again. She's not that old 5 months but her health has been good. I know she's still young but I read of other frenchies having issues early on. When I finally decided to get a puppy from her it was an wake up and let's do this moment and she was super accommodating and met me asap! Hakima was patient with me, got to know me, and helped me decide on the perfect puppy. The transaction itself went smoothly, she gave me lots of important information and advice and told me I could message her anytime if I had questions, which I did several times and she was quick to respond and was extremely helpful. North Shore Frenchies owner Hakima Consider: BUYERS BEWARE ! Hakima seems personable, convincing, answers your questions.. ...-to describe my initial experience and why I purchased from her. She promised, in writing for proof, that I was being sold a "rare chocolate Frenchie", with "AKC papers" to be produced by 6 months and 1 year health warrantee. I had to agree to allow her to STUD him because of his "rare color" and promises of making money. Fast forward 3 months after ownership of my new pup Ollie's vet points out head/body tremors and abnormal gait. Sent video of such to Hakima who (and it's in writing) says her own "mentor" says it looks "neurological" and to take to a specialist. As recommended by my vet as well, Ollie sees a Veterinarian Neurologist Specialist confirming the worse, -a neurological disorder related to his cerebellum . I share with my Vet and Neuro Specialist videos Hakima posted of Ollie on FB prior to my purchasing and they confirm that he had "noticeable tremors and abnormalities" and . questioned "why an experienced breeder doesn't notice this or disclose when selling?" I noticed but as a first time buyer of a Frenchie thought it was idiopathic. Ollie can NEVER be used for a stud and one of his parents has to be a carrier. I addressed my concerns with Hakima and she kindly offered me access to another stud in ADDITION to keeping Ollie if I chose too (proof also in writing). I asked for reimbursement of Vet bills instead to continue to care and help pay for 4K testing for Ollie but she declined. Today I contacted Hakima to take her up on her offer of accessing another stud however now Hakima no longer wants to provide another stud in ADDITION to my keeping Ollie, instead asking for return of Ollie. Told me I was unappreciative and selfish and that is why she no longer wanted to offer me an additional stud. Give up my puppy who I've fallen in love with and care for more than anything ?! Not knowing who will care for and spend literally thousands of dollars caring for him ? -or be put down ? So please be warned and informed. I purchased a puppy from North Shore Frenchies in which: 1) I never received the promised AKC paperwork on ! 2) A puppy who also Hakima later admitted lied about Ollie in fact never tested for Chocolate (the rare color that is great for stud services) 3) When asked for copies of the proper "health testing" on Ollie's parents per vets request, Hakima told me she "No longer have contact with the new owner of the mom. I have to request the records from the stud" ?! A good breeder has these records ! To date still never received. 4) A sick puppy with a hereditary neurological disorder to top it off... she's not honoring the health warranty! I'm beyond sadden that I have been taken advantage of. It is important for current and future buyers be informed of my experience and the possible gaps in the breeding program Hakima otherwise prides herself on. I was unbelievably deceived and her breeding practices of "health testing" parents are nonexistent ! If they are, make sure you request proof! I am out $3500, over $1500 PLUS ongoing health testing & care, it will never end, plus puppy that is not breed-able or in fact healthy, no proof of AKC, or health testing. ALL things promised in contract. I have proof of all our conversations and contract. I pleaded with Hakima that while this is upsetting I want to be civil and begged she do right on this (financial reimbursement or new stud) as previously offered. read more

!Buyer Beware! Bought a dog from this breeder which turned out to be sick as soon as we got home. The vet requested prior medical records and shot history to attempt to figure out the problem. The breeder refused to provide shot information and claimed she didn't have it then said "I'm sorry I don't provide that" when it's clearly stated in her contract to do so. Also mentioned that the puppies never see a vet after birth or before leaving for their homes. After agreeing to return the puppy, the breeder changed her mind an hour later and has since refused to answer calls or texts. I have read other reviews online that are similar to mine. There is something shady going on here. Do your research people, make sure your paperwork is legit. Don't buy from Hakima or Northshore Frenchies. read more

North Shore Frenchies sells sick puppies and ultimately does not honor health warranty...you get nothing but false promises but no true resolve. I helped my daughter buy a puppy from NSF (financially assisted privately and was going to help stud him..stud agreement was in contract) and I was present for purchase. Puppy ended up with a severe neuro issue diagnosed by a Neurologist Veterinary Specialist. NSF was asked per regular Veterinarian and Neurological Specialist for pre-health testing papers done on sire/dam before breeding to help diagnose puppy's health issue and none could be provided by NSF; -was it even donethis is a dangerous breeding practice that results in genetic defects that carry on to following litters. Both Veterinary recommended puppy not be used as a future stud due to genetic defect. Puppy was also immediately sick upon purchase and diagnosed upon our Vet check testing positive for Giardia, -a good breeder should have known this if initial puppy check and vaccines/worming were actually conducted by her certified Vet and had the puppy treated prior to going home and risking his life. We'd like to see these Vet records also. Promise of AKC registration never provided as she promised; buying AKC assures a better quality USA puppy with proof of their breeding lines... was this puppy an import from backyard breeding thus why AKC registration could not be provided ? -not an accusation but analysis why we never received his AKC registration ? IF you decide to buy from NSF I strongly advise: 1) Ask to see official health testing done on both dam and sire *prior* to them being bred so you can be assured a puppy without illnesses nor heredity genetic defects. 2) Ask for copy of puppy initial worming and immunization records from a *certified* Veterinary...no excuse not to have it 3) If dam/sire are in fact AKC USA registered to prove good lines you should be given the paperwork to register puppy right when you get your puppy; litters are registered at birth, -no excuse not to receive it immediately. We are now constantly being threatened to be sued by NSF (my daughter specifically), called horrific swear names publicly in social media, stalked on FB (seriously stalked to the point of even though blocked she's still getting private info and reposting); she sets up fake profiles of herself defaming herself but accusing my daughter doing it so she can "sue" us, non stop harassment via email & text messages. She's been asked to stop but doesn't..like a bad rash that won't go away ! Does this sound like a stable professional "breeder" ? We sent her *every single thing she asked for*: all proof and every single Vet record and bill to prove his illness. She paid one single very small Vet bill in the beginning now filed 2x with PayPal for a refund lying that her payment was filed falsely, PayPal didn't buy her untruth. This "breeder" is actually very dangerous. We asked for one single thing from her to help diagnose this sick puppy: copies of health testing done on sire/dam to help diagnose this very sick little guy..did we get it ? NO Yet she has the nerve to now request direct contact with the specialist after not cooperating with them what they've asked of her. My experience with North Shore Frenchies was positive, educational and productive. We welcomed our Blue Fawn puppy in June and could not be happier. Hakima helped us select a puppy based on personality, which was important to us, not color. She answered my many questions in a timely fashion and gave great information on puppy care, socialization, training and growth benchmarks. I received all the promised documentation and health forms. Hakima even recommended that my own vet verify my puppy's health. She followed up with me to ensure that the puppy was doing well and working out. Due to Covid19 we didn't get the meet and greet opportunity with the parents and litter mates but our puppy is perfect and now an important loving member of our family. North Shore Frenchies has made my growing family complete. She worked with my husband and I before we got our beautiful little Frenchie girl and continued/continues to make herself available if we have questions or need her help at any time of day or night. The owner has also helped us make our puppy comfortable by giving up tips and tricks along the way. Hakima checks in on her puppies to make sure they are adjusting fine to their new home and really puts her heart into these babies by making sure you, as the new owner, are doing okay and feel confident in raising your new fur baby. Her price is reasonable for the amazing quality of puppies. They have such great temperament and are fantastic with children, which is huge for me since I have a 5 year old, 3 year old, and a newborn. You can tell all of her dogs are treated like her children, LOVED. I can't stress enough how sociable our puppy is. When we are ready for another puppy we will definitely be going back to her. If I could give Hakima 10/10 I would and I highly recommend getting your Frenchie from here! read more
