The library is up a flight of stairs although they do have a lift. It is small for a library, basically one largeish room; therefore limited selection of adult reading. Does seem to have more focus towards children's books. So maybe better for mums with small children.

There is a small portacabin with a member of staff in it who can sell you a visitors guide and answer any questions you may have. There is very limited parking and I think it's only open for part of the year, so best to check on the website before you go to avoid disappointment. There is a small admission charge. I wouldn't like to be inside when it gets dark! It's quite close to the A14 in Northants, and only takes and hour or so to visit, so is well worth stopping off there if you are looking for something a bit different to do.

It is quiet small but offers a good selection of books and dvds…read more They have a rhyme time which is lovely for the kids and it does get busy when this is on! the staff are really helpful and will offer help and advice on any of the products that are available or when they will be available. There are dvds that are availble as well. it is in the local centre with lots of other services and next to the pre school, set b ack a little from the high street so in a great area and easy to find. This is a very friendly and local feel libary.

At the entrance you will get a ticket-so you know how many people are waiting in the queue and there are comfortable seats in the waiting room. Very often at the entrance is someone who answers questions and direct you to the right place. There are also self-service points located on the right side of the entrance. .

However, if you happening to be passing (a little unlikely, I admit as it's in the middle of nowhere) and want to break up a journey, it's an interesting enough stop-off. We were very lucky with the weather when we brought our two young children here and were able to have a picnic on the grass whilst they ran about and played, so we ended up staying around an hour. Be aware that there are no facilities at all except a small (English Heritage) ticket office and gift shop in a portacabin.

Amazing attraction even if you don't dive!…read more We came across this place today and I was absolutely amazed by it! There were divers everywhere and supposedly there is a submarine, double decker bus, airplane and all sorts sunken here! It was cool to watch the divers in action. There is also a good little pub where you can sit and watch what's going on out in the water!
