We arrived after boating across the bay at 4:40pm and as we pulled up, the kid working said that they were out of gas as he was putting locks on the pumps. However, the boat ahead of us was in the process of fueling up. As we inquired, the answer changed to, "We are closed." Understandably frustrated we mentioned at we called ahead to ask and the kid Caleb almost refused to fuel the boat. He was no help in helping us dock and if it wasn't for the nice lady working saying, "I don't know why he said that because we are indeed open until 5:00". Caleb probably wanted to just get out of there but when you boat across the whole bay with little fuel, if it wasn't for the nice girl we would have been stranded in the marina. Overall Caleb gets an F for customer service and for lying. We will avoid getting fuel from this place again.

They also take their time to familiarize you with the operation of the ski. This rental lets you take the ski out on your own and the area is the entire Sandusky Bay. Riding the skis in Sandusky Bay is very fun and the waters are protected from the larger waves that are out in the open Lake Erie. The number one reason to visit this place for your jet ski rental is the family run ownership. Dave and Lisa are incredibly nice! My daughter and I really enjoyed meeting them. All of our future rentals will be from this establishment.

The process of renting our jet ski was very smooth. We took a brief 10 question test on how to properly operate the ski on the water then discussed the incorrect answers. Afterwards, we received a brief demonstration and were on our way! There are no escorts like a lot of companies use, it was just my wife and I on the lake! The prices are very reasonable - the same or cheaper than most other companies. Plus, returning customers get a free 30 minutes on the water! You can't beat that deal. We will definitely be back! This is a 45 minute tour/ride and cost is $50 per adult and $45 for children up to age 10. This airboat is owned by a husband and wife. Definitely recommend to call ahead and schedule a ride time. There are a total of 6 seats available for passengers or if you don't mind sitting on ground you can add more. Each chair has a handle to hold onto to and noise cancelling headphones are provided as air boats are very loud. Definitely recommend bringing a spare set of clothes as you will get wet. What an absolute blast this was. You totally need to check it out next time you're in Sandusky. I felt like I was a rock gliding across the water. Man oh man was this totally worth the drive!!

Visited the club to look at a boat with a broker. After…read moreviewing the boat we asked two gentleman getting on their jet skis if there was a restroom we could use. They kindly pointed us to the harbor master building by the pool. We walked by and we're very impressed with the beautiful pool and view. We walked around the building and didn't see the restroom door. We asked one of the young men working there and he walked us around to the side we missed and showered us the restroom door (clearly marked just opposite the harbor master side ) It was refreshing to be greeted by such professional and well mannered young man who didn't just tell us where to go but walked us there ! While we aren't members my husband and I were very impressed with the club, people and beautifully kept grounds !! Would love to return by boat to enjoy meeting with others at this club !

Typically a $100,000 investment warrants some level in making the customer happy, not so with castaway. The boat I purchased, a brand new model, was delivered without some key components being tested for functionality, specifically an in-dash fish finder/chart plotter unit. It didn't work when delivered, and when I questioned it not working, I was told it worked when installed. When the dealer finally made time to check on the issue a couple weeks later, the adapter/plug necessary to sync the motors to the unit was finally installed. He also delivered it without the Yeti cooler supplied by the manufacturer. When I questioned it, he told me the cooler didn't come with the boat. Since the manufacturers description, as well as my bill of sale, indicated it was included, I eventually received it, but should it be that hard to get the dealer to give me what I paid for? Funny how that all worked out. This is just a couple examples of the frustration experienced when dealing with this dealer. I would spend an extra 10k to buy the same boat from another dealer if I knew then what I know now! Buyer beware....Castaway yacht sales and the owner Rick are BAD NEWS!!!!
