Started everything else and more than a month later 12/7/2018 calls me and says the roof is done and i have your key.I get there and the kitchen drop ceiling is a mess,the floor trim not finished, mud everywhere,the rug not shampooed,the dry wall not finished (hole in the corner and not sanded) the base boards not put back together,tar on the kitchen wall(all new walls) We had the kitchen remodeled over a year ago. Not by them. When i got ready to go to the roof he was surprised that i would go up. On the roof he put down 2,3,4 cans of tar when he was supposed to rip up the sunken roof and replace. Then he says he wants $2600 the job is done. That was Friday the 7, Monday nothing done we told him to stop we have had enough. Plus a bottle of whiskey was taken out of its box and the box was put back to look like nothing moved. I video taped the two bottles before they started also every drawer and closet was gone threw. I planted the bottles to the front of the closet so they could see them and of coarse when i told him that someone went threw everything he said oh i know who did that. Used our 40 year old broken vacuum with no belt to vacuum, still dirt everywhere. Mopped our hard wood floors with a dirty mop we had in the bathroom and smeared mud everywhere. WOW If i could post pictures i would not have to write this.

He needed more money several times, didn't finish the job by the deadline, and what work he did complete was absolutely terrible. It was so bad that I don't even think it was safe. He had tons of excuses and doesn't take accountability for his screwups. The day of the deadline, he said he'd "earn back my trust" and never heard from him again. This dingus wasted thousands of my dollars on a half-finished job that I had to get someone else to re-do from scratch. He will tell you anything to get that first check from you.

They came and gave me an estimate, and then they came to pick up my check for the deposit on Saturday. The owner said they would come to do the work on Tuesday or Wednesday. They never showed up, and I tried to contact the owner four times - once on his cell & three times through his office & he never returned my calls. So I put a stop on the check for the deposit. The following Monday he called me and wanted to know why he wasn't able to cash the check, and I said because he took my check, never gave me a receipt, and wouldn't return my calls. He claimed that he never got my messages and blamed it on the girl in the office. Even though I also left voicemail on his personal cell phone. I have no time to deal with people who don't know how to run a business properly. It only takes a minute to make a phone call to reach out to somebody and let them know the status of the job. If he called and explained that they were delayed and wouldn't be coming on the scheduled day, I would have understood. But to take a check from somebody for $1750 , not give them a receipt,and not return phone calls is very unprofessional.
