Andy with Skyline Waste has always promptly returned my call and been so attentive to my needs. He is great about contacting customers when there is a change of schedule, holiday pick up schedule or weather related concern. I am so happy I switched to Skyline from the big corporate company. Worst trash services I have ever experienced. They are consistently missing trash and recycling pick ups, at least one week a month!

Really should have ZERO stars. Constantly missing pickups, especially recycling. Haven't had recycling picked up in a month. Very flippant customer service, terrible website. This was a wonderful company until sold in 2018 and it is HORRIBLE in every respect. read more

Would NOT recommend. This company purchased Summit and is NOT honoring their commitments. You cannot speak to anyone of authority or the owner. Its disappointing as they had told Munds Park residents they would keep services the same and I paid extra for door to curb pick up and then out of the blue one day was told they would not do anymore or but they didn't offer up revising my bill because I paid extra for that service. No more small community, friendly service. You might as well go with the bigger waste management company. Office staff rude and does not seem to care. Boycotting this company and hope others do the same. read more

I love that this business is family owned and even the drivers are brothers. Doesnt get much more family oriented than that! Always good service with them. They are very informative and very understanding if an extra pickup is needed or anything. Ive had the pleasure of meeting both drivers and they are both very kind and respectful and very helpful. I would recommend this company to anyone in the area. read more

If you call and leave a message they don't call back, their message is always a day late with info. They couldn't pick up yesterday because of the storm(which I understand) but then don't bother notifying anyone when it will be picked up. Just saw the truck drive by with no call backs from my messages. I tried to find out when but if you don't update your recording or call customers back how am I supposed to know. They have a driver that lies about trash cans being out . Mine was out but not picked up. Driver told office it was not put out by 8:45. I personally put it out the day before. Office was rude and would not give me a refund for that missed service. BAD BUSINESS. read more

This company is not local and is owned by an out-of-state company that owns several regional trash hauler companies. The staff on the other end of the phone have no authority over pricing at all. NAWS, or their parent company, bought a local company I was a customer of, Patrick Summit Waste. Summit had great prices and great customer service, so much so they outgrew their capacity, so they sold to NAWS. NAWS said they'd honor the current customer's deal with Summit for the customers that stayed. They did honor the pricing for ~6 months then sent an email early February stating that due to the increased operating costs and recycling costs they had to increase their rates from $69 per quarter to $105 per quarter, a 52% increase; and that rate would be effective March 1st. However March was the last month of the first quarter which I had already pre-paid for back in December. So, they sent a bill the last week of February that had the next quarter Apr-Jun at the new $105 rate and a "pro-rated" fee for March of $12. Again, I had already paid for service in December for Jan-Mar; so this was just a tacked on charge for service I had already contracted and paid for. Horrible business practice. If I did this to my customers I would lose every single one. Accordingly, they have lost my business. Unfortunately, my only alternative is the behemoth Waste Management, or hauling my trash/recycling to the dump myself. I gave NAWS an opportunity to keep me as a customer if they removed the inappropriate and incorrectly characterized "pro-rated" fee of $12; but they kept stating it was the "owner's" decision and there was nothing they could do about it. I will not tolerate doing business with a company that would conduct business this way. Customer service is lost on this company. read more

I have Northern Arizona Waste Services for trash/recycle collection. When I signed up with then three years ago they told me that if there is a time when I have more bags of trash that won't fit in the bin I need to put them in large black yard bags and place the next to the bin for pickup. I did that for this mornings' pickup only for them not to pickup the bags. I called the office and they tell me that I need to inform them of a pickup. I tried to work with even offering to take the trash to where the trucks but, they wouldn't work with me. It went as far as them hanging up on me. So after all that the truck comes Back around to my street an hour later to service the house across the street and they still don't pick up my bags! When I initially called them they said that driver wouldn't be able to pick up because he left the area. This makes me mad! Who else has issues with them? Who do you recommend for service? At one time they picked up my bins before the end of the month and I was paid up to the end of the month. Don't do it, go with another company!!! read more

I have been a customer for many years and like this local company. You can call on the phone and talk to a nice lady who can get ahold of the driver. They have always provided great service and this week I forgot to pull my trash container out to the street and when I got home it was empty, he pulled it out to the street for me ! NAWS purchased Patrick's Summit Waste which was a great company with excellent service! Since NAWS has been doing our trash service I have been contacted from the billing department saying I have not payed bill and service was going to be suspended! I called and left messages and responded to Christina's email and sent copies of my cancelled checks. Today the driver passed our can. We are done with this Family owned company and Do Not Reccomend them At All! Patrick you should remove your name! read more

This lady is right as I just contacted them yesterday after contacting them the previous month as when I paid my last bill, it was $54 and that was supposed to be for the next three months as per Summit Waste. They informed me this was only going to be the price for the next two months and I informed them how I was paying $54 every three months. Then, they informed me if I showed them my bills I received from Summit which, I keep all my bills, they will give me the same rate of $54 for 3 months. However, I called yesterday as I suddenly got a bill in the mail that is due December 15th for $108.00 after paying October 30th, $54 which, was suppose to be for the next two months until I proved that I was paying this amount every 3 months. Over the phone the main lady who is the same one who leaves the voicemail message for this company suddenly said that the company has suddenly decided to not honor the same price I had with Summit which, was told to me on two other occasions was gonna be carried over once they bought out Summit Waste which, is why I still continued services. This lady is the main person who usually answers the phone and she is rude and when I called her out on that and the dishonesty and simply asked for a further breakdown of my sudden bill, not only was I greeted with attitude but, also no explanation of why they are not honoring their word. I am a local and have been here for years and when I lived in city not county, I never had an issue with my trash bill. Lastly, she asked for my name today and still refused to transfer me to the boss or a person higher up as she states she is the manager but, she did say someone above her will call me as I left my name and phone number but, I highly doubt that. Also, trash days were changed without notification by mail last minute on us Summit Waste folks (and they said in person they would never sell their company out to this company who kept offering to buy them out) and they said they just changed to quarterly now and sent notification and I have only received bills from them in the mail and suddenly I have a new bill and only until the 15th of Dec. to suddenly pay a $108 bill. Now come on, I had three months to pay Summit Waste and you are giving me less time to put and dropping a bomb on me before the holidays? This whole situation is just wrong and filled with greedy people who don't care about the locals and I will happily boycott this business along w/ the previous commenter. Also, purchased new trash cans thru Summit and never got new ones though I was promised them and informed this company and said they would take care of it and still with used trash cans when I paid for new ones. Lastly, I have had crows get into my trash can and this company was picking up trash in the early morning and now, it is being picked up late late in the afternoon to evening time and the previous two weeks, my trash wasn't even picked up at all. Just do yourself a big favor and go thru Waste Management or take your trash to the landfill for $18 for a big load (more than 3 bags) or pay $2 a trash bag as it is not that far from where Doney Park and Townsend Winona folks live, have a friend or relative in town take your trash to the dump for free, or try to get City of Flagstaff trash delivery services out to the county as well not just the city as the landfill is in county not city territory so, I don't get why they can't offer their services to us folks as we are technically closer to most folks that live in the city.
