This is a review after being on campus for one full day and receiving a very good guided tour. We were visiting Northern when our son was trying to narrow down what school he wanted to attend and be a student athlete for. We also visited 3 other universities in North Dakota not to far from here. The tour was very nice and the young student guide was a very sharp kid. We found the campus to be nice with a laid back relaxed feel. The facilities for the most part were very well taken care of except for the athletic facilities..they were awesome. It's evident that Northern Takes their sports serious and that's a good thing. The coaches we met were very professional and accommodating. They took their time with us and we certainly felt they were not pushy. The classrooms and educational buildings were nice but I have to say they dorms need some updating. Although my son picked another school north of here, I would have to say Northern came in a very close second. read more
