The fact that Charlie Kirk and his family were not prayed for even mentioned in yesterday's serviced, made me sick! It doesn't matter what his political stand point is, but with him being a well spoken and devoted Christian man and a huge follower of Christ. That alone should've been acknowledged! This man gave his life to spread the word of god and probably brought more youth to Christianity then anyone else in this life time! No prayers, no acknowledgment for him or his poor family is unbelievable disrespectful and sad! Do better crossroads!

Like others have mentioned the sermon is more watered down than we're used to. It seemed as if the Scripture was used to support whatever the church was trying to say and felt repetitive. We're more used to the Bible being the center of focus and whatever connections can be made to everyday life are made but understanding Scripture and growth in faith are not overshadowed. His teachings go deep and make it easy for everyone to understand and comprehend. We really appreciate that Pastor Michael never shies away from tough topics and he teaches a book at a time, verse by verse. He married my husband and I 8 years ago and that was such a blessing to us because of how much Pastor Michael means to us. Living Truth has a wonderful, excepting and loving community within the church. Our 2 kids, 7 & 3 love the kids classes on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings. It is a good church if you are a significant other and are pretty much dedicated to this church HOWEVER I find it very clicky. Very hard to make real friends there. Also, they are NOT making disciples sending them out into the world. Only, they (elders) pretty much are involved in this kind of Ministries. So, if you just want to go to Church on Sundays and volunteer within the 4 walls of the church, you are good. However, if you want more it wouldn't be a good place.

I felt a very strange sense of alarm immediately upon entering the building that I can't explain. I have been closely aligned with motorcycle missionary ministries, so the look of the people is not what threw me. The music was beautiful and people were speaking in tongues all around. What made me leave immediately was when the man who was on his knees up front started throwing the horned symbol with his hands during worship. I don't recall the name of Jesus being sung. I was out. Everyone use your own discernment. There were a couple of other things but I don't want to confuse personal preference for discernment. It's important to worship with others who have the Holy Spirit in common. And since I couldn't reconcile this man speaking in tongues while using those hand gestures, I had to go.
