Specialties

We specialize in delicious, nutritious pick-your-own and pre-picked blueberries, grown as naturally as possible. We are family run, and family friendly, and have everything that you need to have a wonderful blueberry picking experience. We are open seasonally, from mid-July through mid-August. We also bring our blueberries to Shaker Square Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings, from late June through late August.

History

Established in 2008.

After growing up on a farm, Julie Richards bought the property in 2008, and planted the blueberry bushes the following year. After a few years of nurturing the bushes, she opened Northridge Blueberries to the public in 2012. Since then, the bushes and business have grown, as has her family, and today Julie and her husband, Colin, run Northridge Blueberries as a family business, producing delicious, fresh blueberries for all of Conneaut, as well as parts of Northeast Ohio and Northwest Pennsylvania.

Meet the Business Owner: Julie R.

Growing up on a farm that had pick-your-own blueberries, I quickly fell in love with both farming, and the pick-your-open crowd. To me, there is nothing more rewarding than growing food for my family and community, except, possibly, for the ability to share the experience of fresh, home-grown blueberries, and how they're harvested, with people of all ages who have never had the opportunity to have them before.
