The first thing that I didn't like was when you open an account you do it virtually even though I went to one of their locations. They put you in a booth and I had to talk to two different people to open the account and send my ID to them. Last week I got a call saying my account was inactive. The person said to keep my account active I had to do a transaction at least once a month. I told her that no one ever told me this when I opened the account. Later I called the Clearview to get more information about account requirements. The person that I spoke to said to avoid a fee you had a minimum balance and do a transaction at least once a month. I told her that I was never told this. She said that no one ever reads the paperwork. My paperwork was presented to me on a computer screen and it was almost impossible to read it all. I was never given a copy. Today I went to close my account. I was told I will not get my $10 deposit back because I am closing my account before 90 days. Clearview should really be upfront with their account rules. Beware.

PNC needs to be one of the banks that shuts down permanently. Three states and I've not enjoyed…read moremultiple factors of the actual in person visits, most of which shouldn't have had to occur in person to begin with. Fees every chance they get. Occasionally you can get someone to lift one but after the COVID LIE, they know people are having financial issues and absolutely gouging customers. They have no issue overdrafting consumer accounts for businesses but do not allow the actual consumer to overdraft and no leniency. I even had a letter from a creditor on an error and they told me that I would have to come in with that paper. I don't even have a local branch. Their online customer support is slow. Over a week for response. They don't offer any truly free checking without a direct deposit or a ridiculous amount in the account at all times. When people lose everything over a complete lie, it's hard to keep 500 or more in an account. They should have Google reviews but we see why they don't. Feedback across the net is terrible. #SHUTTHEMDOWN

I was told that it should be 2-3 business days to get my money. Well I had to call today on September 4th to find out if my currency had arrived. They placed me first on hold then finally come back and said they couldn't find my money but would call me back in 10 minutes. Well about 15 minutes later they called and said my cash had been felony FedEX to the wrong address but they would have it there shortly. Now is the frustrating part, I had requested $600 euros but only got $505 because the teller didn't listened to my request. This is why I can't stand PNC Bank. They don't listen to the customer.
