I am deeply disappointed with my experience with Dream City School. In January 2024, I submitted an…read moreapplication for my twins to be reviewed for the SOAR program. Despite my twins attending public school for nearly seven years without accommodations, a Dream City secretary informed me that they did not believe they could accommodate my children's needs. When I asked for specific details about the "needs" they felt they could not accommodate, I was repeatedly met with the same vague explanation. Since January 2024, I have made numerous calls inquiring about the reasons for the denial. Frustrated with the lack of specificity, I visited the school in person to schedule a meeting with the principal for further clarification. An appointment was set, but upon my arrival for the scheduled appointment, I was informed that the principal had left for a family emergency and my meeting would need to be rescheduled. Despite my multiple attempts to reschedule the appointment, I have been met with the secretary insisting that the principal "sent an email," which I have not received, and constantly assuring me that he will send one. It is disheartening that a supposedly Christian school would lack the common courtesy of following through with their promises and providing transparent communication. I left another message last week and am still waiting for a call. This is AFTER I spoke with the secretary the previous two weeks and, each time, was told the principal would get back to me. As someone who paid to have two applications reviewed, I think it only seems appropriate to provide more information. If my children could attend public school for seven years without accommodations, your concerns are based on assumptions from a very outdated IEP without clarification or discussion with me.

The quality of teaching may actually be some of the worst in the state, especially for the cheap cheap price of 1 THOUSAND or more dollars a month for tuition. Almost nobody that works there is friendly. Let this school fail, it deserves it. DO NOT BRING YOUR KIDS HERE.

I do know this has been a faithful, dedicated group of Christians for several decades of my life. As any honest Christian will tell you, it's not always easy to stay on the path. I've watched this group of gospel believers and followers of Christ Jesus, for around 33 years. FBC of Glendale, AZ, has been through the changes of new, bigger, properties and buildings, moving an entire church, retirement of old pastors, hiring of new pastors, new pastors leaving, staff moving away, staff coming back, and the international Covid 'Plan-demic' (which, IMHO, was intentionally designed to break Western Civilization of regular church attendance...) But I digress. Faith Bible Church, located N. of Bell Road on 59th Ave. in Glendale, is a darn good protestant church. It's an ENDURING Christ-centered, church that will be more than glad to embrace you as a friend, with your warts and all. It's a great place to start, or continue, your sincere journey into the knowledge of the Holy Bible, and your spiritual walk with Jesus, the only hope we have as mere mortals.

Everything is very organized, which makes the experience smooth and enjoyable. I know some people might not prefer a "mega church," which I understand if you're looking for something smaller, but this place has a great atmosphere. The vibes are always positive. CCV also offers small groups, which is a great way to make connections within the church and to take that next step in your life. There are many types of groups to join, such as young adults, men's, women's, singles, etc. Overall, for those who are looking for a new church or have never been, this is a great place to attend. I can't help but agree. Karma makes the rounds and nobody is exempt. What goes around really does come all the way back around. Just hoping my frequent donations went to someone in need and not to Ashley's new car. How the church can look someone facing adverse life situations in the eyes with hope and say they care and are here for all in need and then cruelly ignore them and yank any hope given away, shows too much power by a coterie or clique who distance themselves from the congregation. This church is lying to us all when they say they help those in need. Do you actually know ANYONE who they really HAVE helped? They do the very minimum! Then slam the door in your face! They sure aren't helping their own congregation! They aren't helping thy neighbors or there wouldn't be a neighbor across their very own street being evicted.

Every child is different, and I can only speak from our experience, but it's been a worthwhile investment for our family. In these few weeks, our child went from being hesitant about learning to tell time and confidently mastering it--a skill she once thought impossible and wouldn't even try. It may seem small, but it's a huge accomplishment for her, and we couldn't be prouder. Casey has been incredibly helpful, always available to answer questions and consistently follows up with parents. I also love how he knows each child by name, creating a welcoming and personalized environment. I highly recommend this place; as with all learning, progress takes time, but we feel confident that this is the right place for her growth.
