Care - The oil that dripped from my Jeep after I took it to CARE Inc. It didn't leak until I had them change my oil.

Should I start with the layer of filth covering everything or maybe the extremely rude…read moremanager/owner who looked like he was a toddler dressed in clothing three sizes too small? How about the guy who changed my oil who I can only compare to Lennie from "Of Mice and Men", only larger.... CARE Inc. is nothing but a bunch of slick charlatans who will take advantage of someone's ignorance of auto mechanics. I stopped in at CARE Inc. because I was in desperate need of an oil change and frankly, they were it. Upon entering, I noticed a greasy film covering EVERYTHING inside the waiting area, an empty water cooler with salmon colored sludge all over it as well as three broken coffee makers. After waiting almost 20 minutes I spoke with the "gentleman" behind the counter and asked if I could get an oil change and while they were at it, maybe they could replace a headlight for me (I supplied the part). I was told yes and yes but that I would have to pay $29.00 for the light to be installed.....ouch! So I agreed because I really had no choice. Then he asked me to go back outside in the rain with my special needs child and move my car over about a foot to the bay because he was too lazy to do it himself. I came back inside and waited and waited and waited for over an hour.....ten minutes my rear end. Finally they finished with my oil change. He rung me up and then informed me that I had a leak on my rear diff and that they could easily fix it for $150.00. So I told him no thanks. It wasn't leaking before I took my vehicle to them and now I have oil puddles all over my driveway. So in conclusion, I would stay as far away from these guys as possible, lest you want to get ripped off.

I am a regular customer and always get full synthetic and a tire rotation and balance. The last…read moretime I went in my total was $170 for the full synthetic oil and and rotation. I was expecting it to be $150. $100 for the oil change and $50 for the rotation. Not sure why I was charged extra for labor when I should have been charged a flat rate for the services. Also, 50% of the time the oil change sticker says the next oil change is due in 3000 miles instead of the 5000 miles for full synthetic. This raises questions. I do not know if I got the right oil that I paid for or if I got conventional oil by accident. These are small issues but big to me as I have only put full synthetic in my vehicle and always go 5000 miles before I change oil. I have thought of going to dealership from now on. The reason I like you guys is because I don't have to make an appointment and wait all day for service. Thank you, Jacob Miller 720-560-9062
