Absolutely remarkable IMO! Recommend: A firm YES. Had to have surgery here in December of 2023. The entire process from administrative paperwork, pre-surgery prep and the entire process, I was completely and undeniably impressesed. I have had surgery in numerous countries both first and second world scenarios and Northwest Surgery Center knows exactly what they're doing. The facility appeared top-notch in cleanliness, very appealingly decorated and the plethora and quality of the Staff were above reproach. My entire experience was nothing other than positive. When Staff perform this well, it is necessary to recognize and represent accolades; this surgery center checks every box in my humble opinion. read more

I'm really not sure if this is where my review should go, but it should be close. Here goes........ A few weeks back I get a call from centralized scheduling for a CT appointment, During that call the scheduler: * Instructs me to get a blood test BEFORE the procedure. * I ask what type of blood test? * She says your doctor knows. * I tell her I had the procedure before without a blood test. That did not help. * My wife (has a medical background) tries to get the SPECIFIC blood test from the scheduler. That leads to nowhere. * Okay, I contact my physician, that wants me to have the CT. He's at a lost on having any blood test. No Blood test order So, is Centralized scheduling hiring people and not training them OR WHAT? SCARY!!!!! read more

Today was the day of my colonoscopy which was scheduled at Northwest Tucson Surgery Center. My check in was scheduled for 8:45 and my procedure at 9:45. I arrived at about 8:43 and was greeted by an extremely kind volunteer who copied my drivers license and insurance card. I was given a lager and clearly instructed that someone would be calling me back from admissions and shortly after that, a nurse. I waited about 20 minutes for admissions to call me back and the representative was extremely knowledgeable and kind. I went back and sat down and before long a nurse called me back. The pager remained with my husband and so did a piece of paper with my patient number which he could check on a large monitor in the lobby as to where I was in the process. He could look at if I was in the op room or recovery which I thought was neat. Once I was called back the nurses were extremely kind. They made me feel comfortable and at ease and spent time to introduce themselves, get me slippers, and a heated blanket. Before long the anesthesiologist came in and spoke with me and I was ready for my procedure. When I woke up I had another extremely kind nurse. I want to add that I have had plenty of experiences with different surgery centers and this was hands down the best experience yet. No one likes to have to go and have a procedure done but the whole time I was relaxed because I truly felt I was in good hands. read more
