Because of communication issues, she sometimes can't get a hold of me for half a day or so. And she has no money! As a parent, that's quite frustrating. Then I can't get them to give me any information, and she obviously can't call them from where she is. They've also shut off my card a few times for spending money in the cities. I mean, really. It's frustrating. The service is friendly enough and the perks to banking locally are fine. But the amount of frustration I've experienced with Bremer forced me to switch banks.

They make it so easy and convenient to keep banking with them no matter where you are. They have mobile deposit, they refund ATM fees (I try to avoid ATMs that charge a lot or I try to get cash when grocery shopping to avoid charges at all), and do not charge any monthly fees (like some banks do) or charge you to have online access. This car had initially been in both mine & my ex husbands name; I was granted sole ownership of the car in the divorce decree. I went to pick up the title & was extremely disappointed when learning that United Savings is refusing to release it to me. Their reasoning; my ex husband had taken out an additional auto loan which had a past due balance & they are using my car as collateral to his debt. My name was never anywhere on his loan & this was considered his debt in the divorce. I wish I would have known that it was pointless to pay my car off since I will never be granted the title for it. That happy "I paid off my first car" feeling is out the window after the bank I trusted in had made greedy loopholes to avoid giving it to me. I feel completely robbed. I paid this car off for no reason & no one at United Savings has offered any solutions for me & a majority of the managers I've spoken with don't even seem the least bit sympathetic to the fact that I'm now out several thousands of dollars to be left empty handed & punished for a debt that was never even mine to begin with.
